Neil Young's "Rockin' In the Free World" from 1989- the best ever!

As usual, an Iconic Performance Top 10 is drowned out by excessive narration. Please. stop. talking.

The musicians who appeared in the 70s were amazing. I remember watching every Sat night & being blown away every week.

Counting Crows doing "Round Here" was EPIC.

It feels so good to see all the "old" stuff. Idk if these are the most iconic stages of SNL, but I enjoyed every single one.

Soul Man is my all-time favorite moment from SNL. Having said that, Here Comes the Sun deserved better than just an honorable mention.

I must agree: "Here Comes the Sun" is technically much harder to play on guitar than it sounds, it is a transcendent song, and Harrison and Simon's performance made it feel like time stood still for a few minutes. It dederved to be in the Top 5 for sure.

George Harrison and Paul Simon were epic.

Natalie merchant 1995 Carnival... should definitely be in the top five.. check it out

For Bruno Mars and U2, I would have chosen 24K Magic and Elevation, respectively. David Bowie how great!!

Pavarotti and Vanessa Williams singing Adeste Fideles (along with the orchestra and the boys choir) is as powerful performance as you will see on SNL.

Jack White’s performance was incredible 💙

I love when Taylor Swift come out with the short film behind her when she was singing All too well it was so awesome It was like the best performance ever on SNL.

@@lefantomer Well, I'm 54, a guy, and I LOVE Taylor Swift., And although I don't think I'd call her "All Too Well" performance the Greatest Ever, I would definitely put it way up there. Let me put it this way: I've heard the song a million times; I don't know how many times I've watched that short film; and I haven't had anything resembling a romantic relationship in DECADES! And that performance STILL MAKES ME TEAR UP! Taylor put it all out there that night. It was brilliant.

I always thought Prince’s Electric Chair performance on the 15th anniversary show was the best

1995 The Cranberries - Zombie on SNL was listed by Rolling Stone as one of the best performances on the show ever.

Bruno Mars' 24k Magic performance was fantastic too.

10 minutes of whining and crying and wailing about a romance from 10 years back with the dude you're shacked up with right there?

Pearl Jam’s ‘Alive’, U2 ‘Elevation’, and Kanye’s ‘Black Skinhead’ ‘Runaway’ or ‘Ultralight Beam’. The list is discredited without any of those.

Was fired up from the the thumbnail and the early part of the video but it was a solid list. Growing up with SNL in the the 80s and 90s I would nominate Living Colour, Pearl Jam, Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys, and probably a few more because I am old lol
