*I love that you tell how long you had the plant for and the size it was when you adopted it. Nobody does that on here, and what window of sun it faces. Newbies find that very important!!!*

i love how you talk about watering, a lot of people just say every 3 days and nobody talks about the conditions we grow our plants (indoor and outdoor) and thats the reason why we overwatering our plants. i have 3 of those plants and i love them a lot! hope they stay years with me

Hi Nick, I just started following you. I’m about 6 videos in and I want to thank you for the clear and concise format of your presentations. Love that you mention how long you’ve had the plant, what exposure and both theLatin and common name. Your speech is clear and friendly. A pleasure to listen to. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I’m super new to the houseplant thing and its the first time i hear someone talk about plant language. I love it. Thanks for the video!

its good to see guys get into plants
I just brought the string of hearts and I love her. I see myself propagating her and adding to my collection
Great video, thanks! But you missed out the very best of all trailing houseplants: the SPIDER PLANT: It can be in full sun or in deep shade, thrives in any old soil, survives in hot and cold rooms and puts up with wet as well as dry conditions. It grows quickly but doesn't make a mess by dropping leaves. The elegant long leaves are striking and brighten up any room. The most beautiful variety is the one where the leaves are white on the outside and green in the center (white-green-white); this one grows more slowly and keeps a very proud shape for a long time. Best of all, the Spider Plant is super easy to propagate and gives even beginners a feeling of success. :) I think it deserves a video all by itself!
I must acquire that Manjura Pothos. I love that patterning of green and white on the leaves. I've never seen this beautiful variety before. I 100% agree that English Ivy is a sitting target for spider mites and other pests. I wish this were not so because there are so many beautiful cultivars.

Loving those sting of hearts and the ivy alternative. Satisfying to hear your perspective on English ivy not being easy to grow in the house. Everyone says how easy it is on KZread. Mine almost died in the house. Put it outside in the sun and it's been fine ever since. I live in FL.

I enjoyed your show. I have a scindapsis like yours named Angel. I have had Angel 5 years. She got to be 6 feet long. I had to repot her. A 6 foot plant is not easy to repot. I pruned her. Last week she was 6 to 7 feet long. She got another haircut. I took 2 feet off. She is thick and full because the first clipped bunch got added back into the pot. It is a beautiful and happy plant.
