Lol, lets just say that darkseid is really more powerful than thanos without the mother boxes. but thanos clearly has the upper hand when darkseid has his mother boxes and anti life equation while thanos had the infinity gaunlet and the infinity stones, why? first you need to find the mother boxes and anti life equation. before you can conquer a planet you need sychronize it first and we all know that i takes a long time period before it could sychronize that is why he is defeated by the defenders of the earth.while it is sychronizing thanos could do whatever he wanted to do with the stone just for example snapping half of all in the universe in an instant.

And infinity stones dont work in Amalgam universe or outside marvel universe. Darkseid's omega beams are on par with superman's speed . Is thanos that fast ? I am not inclining that Thanos would lose or Darkseid would lose. They wouldnt even fight. And as a fan , I would love to see them in their respective universes. Not fighting for the some Fanbois.

This line is featured in Final Crisis, a crisis event where Darkseid dropped his dying true form on the multiverse after winning a battle he shouldn’t have won. Orion is shot by a radion bullet, and falls to earth and is killed. The New God Darkseid uses the Anti-Life equation to conquer earth, and everything bonds with Darkseid and is dragged down into a black hole at the base of creation. Darkseid’s essence bonds with Dan Turpin, and begins a “Holocaust that will never end”. This severs the Starheart (Source of all magic in DC), cuts off the other god pantheons from interfering, and his forces overpower the heroes in different ways. Hal Jordan is framed for the attempted murder of John Stewart, where the true “attempted murderer” is Kraken, an alpha green lantern who is being possessed by Granny Goodness, while also being accused of being Orion’s murderer. Batman is defeated and captured, as his body is being prepared to make a horde of batman clones, while also feeding him infinite trauma to keep him weak forever. Wonder Woman succumbs to Anti-Life’s virus and becomes part of Darkseid’s new furies, and many more heroes fall and are defeated or killed by Darkseid’s machinations. This line is featured at the near climax of the story, where Darkseid is on the cusp of victory. He was the one who murdered Orion with the radion bullet by firing it into the past- and intends to do it again. “As all time becomes one time, the time has come to strike. Take aim.” And in said prior part, he performs a badass speech when everything is collapsing. In the end, Darkseid IS defeated, but it takes a great deal of suffering to take place, and the justice league had to do what they did best; be heroes to the purest H.

The only reason darkseid was able to capture him was because trigon didn’t have a physical form at that time, trigon was absolutely destroying darkseid when he was possessing Superman and when he had his own body

Loved the movie but DAMN. The "Fight-Math" didn't add up. The ParaDooms were straight ripping Demi-Gods limb from limb. Just their strikes would've killed the weaker characters. If they were going to go tht far, they should've put more thought into the death sequences. Constantine was a Badass in that movie. Batman was like, What is our next move John?

The Greek gods defeated Uxas, a weaker version of the character before he obtained his Omega Effect. Nevertheless, Uxas was still impressive for surviving.

Even if he was stronger then, he'd probably still lose that fight.. or at least have a very hard time holding his own. Ares is fueled by war, and since that was the largest war in Earth's history, Ares was literally the strongest being on the battlefield.

The moment he killed Dan Turpin on the animated Superman series was it for me, that’s when I knew this villain was legit.

I was starting to like Dan Turpin. I was shocked when he got killed off like that. His funeral at the end was a nice fitting way of also saying goodbye to Jack "The King" Kirby, whom had died years before.

I remember that. When I was a kid, I was like "What? Did he just kill him?". Then Superman went nuts and smashed that tank of his into the street. At that time I hadn't seen any character get killed in any of the DC cartoons at that time (not sure if Joker using his laughing gas on people counts), but that one was ingrained into my memory forever. Then I knew for sure he died because of the funeral at the end of the episode. Supposedly Stan and Joan Lee are at Turpins funeral. Apparently so was Reed and Sue Richards (not sure if that was confirmed).

Darkseid is one of my favorite villains in dc

Nothing perfectly exemplifies what Darkseid should be than in the episode Alive when Darkseid is resurrected and EVERY VILLAIN in the room wets themselves. Then Darkseid delivers that line of “It seems I have you to thank for my resurrection. Though your world will suffer slowly, I grant you a quick death.”

They made no mentions of his comic feats. He took down the Greek pantheon and took their strength, went toe-to-toe against the AntiMonitor, one shotted Superman....

How is the Knightmare future from the Snyder cut not here? He simultaneously kills Aquaman and Vulko, visits Wonder Womans funeral and corrupts Superman. Most beast mode part of the movie from him. Crushing Steppenwolfs head is second.

OMG! All of these moments were amazing! Especially from the Snyder cut!
