Excellent Tier list. Please continue this format, I love that you're not saying x ship is trash and y ship is great. Instead you're showcasing each ship strengths and what they are good at. Keep up the good work

Thank you for this. I was considering getting a Corsair specifically to do bounty missions. But I think I'll start them with my C1 and hold out a little longer to get a C2 for the later missions.

THANK YOU!! I played SC for a bit, but still a noob. I got it 3.17 and the game was about busted it felt like ... pressed through and stopped last year. I now have got back into it playing a bit over the past week and Bounty Hunting is something that I wanted to get into ... I have all my mining money still and have been struggling on what to spend it on .. this video was exactly what I have been looking for!

Nice choice! 7 out of 10 in my hangar, but for bounty missions 3 of them are easily enough!

the Taurus with no gimbals (for the 2 guns you can remove them from) and all ballistic. Enough ammo for 2 ERT's (if you don't run into any retaliators) and enough cargo space for all the maze you can find. with upgraded shields, set shields to full power, drop in and just tank and destroy. I usually set one of my size 4s to my secondary trigger to help feather in a soft deaths. It's so good. Side not, all you don't get with the Taurus variant of the connie is the useless snub fighter, instead you gain 2x cargo. no brainer IMO.

Yeah, Taurus is a great ship. Andromeda has more Missles, but I also prefee the bigger Cargo space. Seems I must try the full ballistic loadout again. I felt like the smaller ones run out of ammo too quickly. Need to try again :)

Hi, just recorded footage yesterday for my Eclipse Video. :) ERTs is not an issue at all. But the question is, can you hit a smaller target that moves? Will try that out before I release the video. Dogfighting with the Eclipse is a bad Idea, tried that and failed miserably... you need to be a real good pilot for that.

I have been using the Ares Inferno and I just shredded the hammerhead in under 20 secs in ERTS at least 2 times. I think Ares Inferno deserves to be in the ERT tier list.

Yes, you are right! I have made another Video about the Inferno already and it was very impressive. ERT category! Only thing is, you need to keep moving and not get hit. Then it is easy.

a bit weird that you included the ion but not the inferno - in my opinion the most fun and easy option to do ert´s - i agree on the list so far tho ;) for lower difficultys like mrt, or moderate threat beacons i also love the arrow, its insanly fun to play

Yeah good points. The Inferno is another ship I do not own, but that I would love to test. Maybe my next ingame buy? The Arrow I do own, but somehow, maybe I am too clumsy to fly it. It is so lightning fast :)

@@dj-firefly3901 I fly the inferno to help my friends do ERTs. It has large quantum tank, decent amount of shields and the size 7 gatlin takes down all the ERT threats with ease, from hammerheads, to starfarers to carracks etc.... Just be careful to bust damage them near the end of their life so you soft death them. It's easy to overkill them if you're not careful. Inferno is the quickest way to grind through VHRT's to get to ERT's as well. Just kill your target and move onto the next, don't worry about the loot until you get to ERT's. Since the Inferno is relatively small and nimble, just keep moving around and the bigger ships don't hit you often. You'll mostly get hit if you try to joust them. Inferno IMO definitely belongs in the ERT category. Though you need a friend to carry the loot.

@@dj-firefly3901 Yes, you must try the Inferno, it is my favorite ship for ERTs by far. You can kill ships within seconds and it has enough ammo to knock out 4-5 contracts.

Im quite new to the game and only have a c1. I’m saving aUEC for the ion but from what I saw in videos the inferno seems so much better for pve with its damage output. What do u think?

I would absolutely recommend the inferno it’s a great ship and it takes quite a while to run out of ammo

How does the C1 have more dps than the cutty, given that they both have 4 s3 guns?

Correct, that is what I meant, when I said: technically, you can go higher. For the Cutty Black I prefer Gimbals with S2 Repeaters. For the C1, which is more maneuverable and comes with two already gimbled S3 slots, I use the S3 Laser Cannons as my favourite loadout. You can play around what works best for you!

Only thing I would also want to consider is looting components and cargo from HVRT and ERT kills.

I like your tier system, rather than the S-F. It makes sense to me that you'd want to change ships to fit the changing circumstances. One thing though: The video specifies the C1 where your label specifies the A1. Which is the ship you actually mean? Thanks for the video!

Yeah, got me :) The label sais A1 (is corrected now). In fact, I used the C1. (But I have tested both, and the A1 is basically the same for Bounty Hunting). The C1 is my favourite though. With the cargo space it is much more flexible.

me too :) So much is new, I just realized, Gatling guns are no longer working best for me. I had more success with laser repeaters. C1 is different, but still OK for bountys. The Eclipse did not work on my first test, torps got shot by the Hammerhead. So I def. need some more game time for the whole picture, but Bounty videos will drop then, and eventually a new Tier List video !

I used to use a C2 all the time for bounties a few patches ago. Very fun combat and then you can take a trading break and make 1.7 million aUEC profit per haul.

haven't tried the 600i, and would have taken connie taurus over the corsair for ert's. yeah the dps is insane from the corsair, but if you get a sweet load of illicit cargo, i wanna make sure i'm taking it all. as for dedicated fighters in hrt's, not really needed, anything up to and including hrt can be handled in pretty much any ship with ease

Yes, you are right, it definitely should. In the meantime, I have made a separate video about the Inferno. Was surprised how easy it is. Just deviates from my entry "for ERT I want a ship that is tough...". Replace that by being mobile and a bit careful and the Inferno is a beast !!

Corsair points a lot nicer than 600i or c2. I've run them all and corsair is a clear pref for me. The only disadvantage is the ballistic reloads. (about every 3rd ert). brrrrrrrt!

3 !? Make you shot count and you'll rarely do less than 5 with a full load, 4 for sure ! Corsair really is so neat, and can load a 15M payload of eggs and maze without trouble :P 3x32, 1x24 before the ramp, 1x24 on the ramp and 5 or more in the back !

There are only two ships for VHRT and ERT... and actually just one ship... the glorious Eclipse. The other ship would be the Inferno if you don't wanna just instakill with the Eclipse. I've done hundreds of ERTs with the Eclipse and have not yet lost one bounty, although I have crashed it into the ground a few times, but not before getting my "KILL". When it just absolutely has to die, the Eclipse is your ship!

It’s easier and faster to ram an Eclipse into a PvP ship, than to fly back to Seraphim and reload…

The Spirit C1 has more damage than the Cutlass Black? Surely not.. I mean, the Cutty had 4x S3 pilot weapons and a 2x S3 turret.. it’s a Drake ship hence disproportionate guns for its size generally. I don’t think a C1 would stand a chance vs a Cutty Black in PvP for example… confused by the DPS figures you quoted as it implies somehow the C1 has nearly 50% more than the Cutty Black. Generally this list shows how broken the game is where a luxury ship like the 600i, and a cargo/vehicle hauling civilian ship like the C2 are ranked top for you on ERT’s. This is very much reliant on dumb AI, because in PvP these ships would be toasted by smaller, more agile ships - which reveals more problems with the current flight model etc too.

Yeah, lets see what master modes change ... a lot may be different then. As for the Cutty Black, yes, you can increase her DPS significantly. However I prefer S2 Laser Repeaters and Gimbals. Firepower is more than enough for MRT targets. The C1 comes stock with Laser cannons, which naturally have higher sustained DPS. Also two slots are gimbled S3. I tend to keep the S3 weapons on the more maneuverable C1. But you are right, on paper both can be equally equipped, what works best for you :)

No,no worry! I just do not own a Retaliator. It is basically an Eclipse on Steroids, that you can MultiCew. Absolutely ERT Viable. (Caviat... with the latest patch, I had some trouble with my Eclipse, and the Torpedoes got shot by the Hammethead frequently. Need more testing to verify...)

Eclipse has no cargo, making it useless for ERTs solo. I can sit as a flying turret in a Taurus and take out ERTs after shooting down the 1st ship. A2s are best.

A2s are so much fun to, to get a group together and just have a good time running bounties. It’s so unmentioned but Jesus the amount of firepower it has full crew. And best part, when you go to sell your drugs it’s real easy to clear the site out before you land 😂😂😂😂

C2 needs a nerf. It's a cargo ship that's more nimble than many fighters, has HEAVY shields, powerful guns, and can do everything.

I could be ok with it since irl big cargo ships can also be extremely weaponized in case of pirated if they know there is a risk, flying the c2 makes me feel like a captain of one of those big container ships although it’s a bit nimble. But I think it is way too cheap for what it is, it should be at least 25 mil to get one, and even that isn’t much atm. And maybe they could make it so that you need a crew to be as strong as it is now.

Shield and gun are fine but yeah its so nimble... feels so weird (and good sure) when compared to ships not even 1/3 of its size

Corsair with deadbolts is a joke. Everyone own themselves to test it out.

Yeah. See my Corsair Video, Deadbolts shred. Only issue was, that I lost a gun when being rammed. But raw damage output is incredible !!

It has a OOOMFHHH feeling whenever you fire that is so enjoyable. It definitely isn't as practical/min max than AD5Bs but its about this feeling of unleashing hell during ERT

No. Don't agree. You get some stuff right. Others, no. For one, it falls into the exact same trap as almost all other videos on Star Citizen do. You focus on a single aspect of what you're looking at and ignore everything else around it, no matter what CIG tells you, even if they hit you over the head with stick with it. You are treating it like an arcade game. Which, at this point, it is neither. In this case, you are completely ignoring both the intended path and intended extra play. The intended path includes _retrieving_ the bounty and bringing it back. The Eclipse, Ion, Vanguard, and Titan are never going to be workable for that. The intended extra play is grabbing high-value cargo they might be carrying. And for that you have to drop the 600i as well. This is an Alpha. Part of your responsibility is to play it like they intend it to be played so they can work on fixing actual issues. Though this also brings up a question. Everyone seems to be focused on DPS and survivability. I would say that at least 90% of the deaths I've encountered running Bounties, even ERT's, have been due to ramming. The next biggest group of deaths being due to me running into the ground; but we're not going to talk about that! Just to be stupid and because I had the time to waste, I have run ERT's with the F8. And as long as the target wasn't an 890, finished them. Took time, but... So the question is this. Given I'm not some super-ace pilot (see the thing we're not talking about above), how is it that I do ERT's as a "grind" when KZreadrs seem to have serious issues running them?

Interesting! Yes, I tried running ERTs in a Hornet or other Fighter. It takes ages to bring it down and more likely you crash into an asteroid or hit the ground. I am really curious, what master modes bring this yeat. That will certainly mix up everything...
