I still believe that it’s a good natured prank that Ryan Reynolds has pulled off, but he has every intention of doing everything that he can for this team!

My home city is absolutely growing

Wrexham made me a lot of money whenever I back them to win since Reynolds took over. I see them making it to the EPL in a couple of years.

Don't be silly. The amount of investment required to make it to the premier league would be 100's of millions maybe a billion. It would be fantastic and some achievement for them to even get back to league 1/2. Championship would be a dream

If they somehow got promoted every year from now on it would take 4 years to get the prem. No national league side has ever got to the prem. But this is football, anything can happen I suppose

this is the type of investment where the normal review process is thrown out the window. that being said the upside is so huge just for being promoted once that it worth the risk in my view

That's the nicest thing I have ever seen a Chester fan say. With us having such a unhealthy competition and past. I used to be one of the people that believed that hooligan type of mentality. Some never grow out of it. It is such a dream come true for the town not just the supporters. The town was so lacking of any amount of opportunity I joined the army 15 yrs ago. The club was ran so far down I even fell out of love with football. Really sad. Seeing my dad who has stood by and supported the team even through the most painful of periods. Being so happy and excited is nothing but amazing. Thank you for you're kind remarks. I hope that eventually Chester have the luck we have had. I am surprised with the heritage of Chester as a city that it hasn't had someone with money to pump in. Imagine the Derby Day matches ! I no longer condone the violence in football by fans and I no longer have indoctrinated hate either. If I'm honest Chester is a beautiful city with a strong history to be proud of . Just like Wrexham has a history of its industry and it's massive part in the industrial revolution. I wish you and your team a prosperous and good future mate 👍

Relegation is generally a standard everywhere outside North America. Only in USA you get some sort of a reward for finishing at the bottom.

I've been to Northern Wales and it's absolutely beautiful. I could see them drawing people's interest based on the team but there is a ton of beautiful and historical places to visit in that area.

No, he's from Bristol in England. Which is one bridge ride away from southern Wales, whilst Wrexham is in northern Wales.

You showed a league, Scottish Championship (Hampden) that is not part of the EFL.

4:59 Wrexham…the City Her majesty the Queen, in her Platinum jubilee, bestowed City status to Wrexham. So they are now a City not a town.

Actually, there are 5 Welsh teams playing in the English pyramid (Swansea City, Cardiff City, Newport County, Wrexham and Merthyr Town). Little fact check for you there lol.

I support scottish and welsh football. I have some ideas for British soccer. I want us to keep The scottish, welsh and english leagues. As they are part of our national identity and history. But I think pan great britain cups on top of domestic and european football would be a great idea. A UK league would he a logistical nightmare.for.many clubs. But pan great britain cups.would.keep long trips as a novelty. The Scots have been allowed to have welsh and northern irish sides in the scottish challenge cup. Ideas could be bring back the old anglo scottish cup. Have a British premier cup. Merge the scottish league cup, english league cup and welsh league cup. Invite all scottish premier.sides.not in europe and selected welsh premier.sides into the efl trophy. Invite all scottish premier sides not in europe and all welsh premier sides.into the fa trophy. ok, then, Americans, Canadians (though they should know better) and the Japanese (plus probably Australians 'cos they're American wannabe's) all call it soccer, but the rest of the world call it football. Have you watched the show? This team was a money pit. They had to spend £400,000 on the pitch alone, redoing it twice before it was serviceable. Not to mention the sizable sums of money for their newer players, mainly Mullin. This has been quite the investment for them. If they eventually get a decent return, and help the team and town in the process, then it sounds like a good situation where everyone wins… so what’s your problem?

As someone who isn't American or European, it's funny to always see Europeans online acting like they're so much better than everyone else, completely ignoring all the horrible stuff they did and continue to do to other countries, usually just trying to throw blame towards America when anyone calls them out on it. Then you get a show like this showing they can't even properly run a sports team and need even more help from Americans and need America to clean up their mess again LMAO
