There's no way I pronounced all of that correctly but it was worth a shot! Hope you liked the video!

definitely pronounced just about everything wrong :P not being rude, but it was the stereotypical "white-person-accent" type of wrong; w/ all the stresses on the wrong letters. for example, Namsan @4:20 was driving me crazy. it sounds like this: translate.google.com/#ko/en/남산 (click the speaker button under the Korean to hear the pronunciation) but at least you tried & the video was good. reminded me of my trips to Korea, so thanks !!!

Slower is better. Korean isn't Chinese or Japanese..

yeah, the way you pronounced some things drove me nuts lol! I would suggest next time using a translator. (i.e. type it out in google using the native alphabet then using the speaker icon on the native alphabet. you should get a better pronunciation.) overall this was a good video and I enjoyed it.

Korean isn’t tonal or too hard to pronounce, but worth asking someone next time. “eo” romanized is more like a short “u” or “uh” (the first syllable of Seoul).
This is one of the most underrated channels in KZread... Love the vibes and flows!

Thank you so much for all those detailed information! Kept notes for my trip this year! Glad there are such well-made videos here on KZread!
Great video! When in Seoul I also recommend taking a train to the Suwon (수원) just to the south of Seoul. The fortress is very beautiful. You can take a long walk on the old wall. Very nice. In Seoul itself I recommend every temple because of the green there. A good break from all the concrete and smog of the city. I loved the National Museum of Korea. I really miss Seoul..
I love Seoul! the balance between the old and state of the art technology is excellent in Seoul !
I'm trying to plan a trip to seoul and this was super useful! Thank you!
The most touching and impressive thing to me is the sculpture 6:21 in the war museum. Korea was one country. Those 2 soilders are brothers. The war broke out. They were separated by the borderline and lived in the North Korea and the South Korea without being able to see each other for a long time. On the warfield, they "accidentally" met and recognized each other. The older brother was supporting the younger brother with his arms. On the sculpture, you can see they are hugging each other wearing different style of army uniforms.
Thanks Cal ! Your shot are so helpful and make me feel so much relax ! Don't worry about your pronunciation coz I wrote down every single location you put in this video. Can't wait for my Seoul Trip in mid of September 2018 !

Hey Cal! What inspired you to become a traveller? I'll remember your tips when I manage to become one as well! ✌️🇲🇽
Though never been to Soel, I have been to Osan. Though very much smaller, you really get a feel for traditional Korea. Though not nearly as many fish markets, the Street vendors (seafood) is Awesome. And the further you get from the military base, the more traditional it gets. Always looked forward in going there when I was in the service.
Great video like a lot :)

How long did you stay in Séoul and at what time of the year ? planing to go in octobre
Great video! A few more comments from my point of view - Bukchon became too touristic over the past years. Palaces are always must-sees. Itaewon is not here, but classic. Actually Hannam-dong side of Itaewon is worth visiting.
Love the video! I have one question tho about jogyesa buddhist temple, there are white lanterns during the celeb of Buddha's birthday. Is it there the whole year around? Thanks!
The first fish lady said you're handsome lol
I will like to visit there someday
you should make video guides about Indonesia because it is heaven on earth and the population is mild and gentle
great video :) Everyone come visit South Korea!
Great videos! What was that swastika on the temple in number 8 ?
@CalMcKinley

it's actually an ancient buddhist symbol, the swastika is similar but reversed.
can't believe you didn't mention itaewon the international district
you better mention itaewon that place has the best food from all over the world
Did y’all hear SHINee’s song ring ding dong in the beginning of the video?
I will be going to Seoul Korea soon. Whats the best way to get around?

Uber is definitely the easiest/safest call.
Yo you ought to do one about things to do during the fucking summers here. Half this shit is too hard to do during the summer.
Why'd you have reupload the video? Just curious. By the way, your Korean friend seems to be very Korean so he has different perspective about Korea like I do as an outsider living in Korea I guess.

Frame rate issues with the last upload, and yeah I was very lucky to have met him!
dude where do u live? u said 30 degrees CELSIUS is cold? I live in England and that's a hot day here!! 😂😂😂
8:02 Does anyone know why there is some similarity (i know it's not identical) to the sign from world war 2? Is there even a context?
Try Algeria you won't regret it
Your videos are great. Could I suggest, though, when you stop off at a place, politely asking one of the locals to help you with how to say the name? Good vids, otherwise, though.
Who's the girl in the thumbnail?

Video made by a tourist recommending doing tourist stuff... lmao People, if you actually want to know the proper ways to enjoy a city get to know a local and go to places you won't find on the internet.
Don’t be fooled by tourist tricks and gimmicks and fake Asian culture. There are many places to go in Asia so you want to find the place that gives you the best experience for your money and the safest travel. Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia are good choices.
