The creator of Tekken left before 3 was completed but he owned the original cast of characters and created Jin before departing...Therefore he had the rights to use the head of Jin and last name of Mishima for Godhand. The T3 team stole God Hands body for Bryan Fury. Both God Hand and Bryan Fury are cyborgs..

@@Shiratto oh I didn't know that. What I knew was, Harada worked at Namco as a psychologist. He was to find out how to attract more arcade games so he psycho strategically placed the arcade cabinet in such a way that the gamers would play them more often. He was successful and then had an idea for a game or more of a 'test' utilizing all four limbs of the human body in a game for the same goal and that is how I thought 'Tekken' was born. It too was successful but not because it was Tekken but it was because of Harada's mastermind.

@@Zoran69 Japanese are really secretive and don’t give interviews….What made Tekken 3 successful was the Hollywood cinematic feel of it. The opening demo movie of it was extraordinary well done for its tims. Kids these days would say it’s “lit”. Back then it was epic. It had the best graphics for a fighter on top of the best story and cinematic feel AND it had the largest roster and so many extras like the mini-games. It sold the best because it was given the biggest budget and the most effort

Tekken in Neptunia is what's called a Maker, characters directly based on and named after real world companies and IPs, like God Eater and Nitroplus for the sake of some examples other than the creators' own in Compa and IF. KInd of a staple of the franchise and a nice thing that gives some personality to this reference fest of a series
The Bouncer also has some Tekken-inspired moves. I remember seeing twin pistons as well as some of Law's kicks.

That's because The Bouncer was developed by Dream Factory, the company created by Seiichi Ishii, who directed the first Virtua Fighter, as well as Tekken 1 and 2. After founding his own company, he created Tobal 1 and 2, Ehrgeiz, The Bouncer and Kakuto Chojin, and all of these games share a ton of recycled animations!

Probably the weirdest Tekken reference is in Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi. The titular martial art is literally Finnish for "Steel Hand", as if someone at LucasArts just got a thesaurus (the devs even sited Tekken as one of the game's biggest influences, so this probably isn't a coincidence). The best part is that Teräs Käsi actually got mentioned in The Mandalorian, meaning that it's officially canon and not just Expanded Universe material.

Ken Mishima aka GODHAND is literally a whole homage to Tekken 3. Aside from the moves and the obvious Mishima surname, he literally has Bryan's pants, Kazuya's gloves (but in black) and his alias is an indirect reference to both the FF weapon and King of Ironfist.
Fun Fact: If you watch the new Sword Art Online: Progressive Movie, Asuna plays Tekken on her phone :)
Honestly this channel is really poggers
Tobal 1 and 2 also have A LOT of Tekken moves, moves like King's Alley kick, Law's side kicks and more.

Godhand is a reference to Jin Kazama’s full name, which is actually 風魔神. This 風魔means Wind Demon, and 神 means God, thereby his whole name being Wind Genie. Makes sense why he’d be called Godhand before Tekken 3. Also Bryan Fury is taken from Kazuya’s Devil Gene. In short, Brian Fury, or Fury Brain. Makes sense again why Bryan is a psycho cyborg, he has no “I” in his identity. Also Avenging Fist already described Hwoarang and Jin in detail, you can check them, plus Asuka and Xiao Yu out in there. I solemnly swear, that Jun in there, got killed later in the movie, by an evil Dictator from Street Fighter. As for the other fighters. The guest for Avenging Fist, was Bryan Fury. You can see Bryan vs Hwoarang in Avenging Fist, straight before Jin vs Hwoarang, only thing is he has Eagle’s personality, because he’s human. In the Laboratory scene, like in Tekken 4 Fear stage, True Ogre needs to be killed by Hwoarang himself. Confirmed the two love couples, Jin’s and Xiao Yu’s personalities got swapped with Hwoarang’s and Asuka’s personalities respectively in the movie. That’s why Jin doesn’t have Jun’s hair bangs, because she is still alive for the first half of the movie. Also I knew that later on, Asuka and Hwoarang would become a spunky love couple later on, Avenging Fist also showed that. Tekken 8, and THAT, will happen, alongside Kazuya figuring out Asuka’s existence in the Kazama family. And it was because of Avenging Fist, that Tekken 7 did announce Street Fighter and Fatal Fury, to be its elder brothers, that’s because Cheng Shing Zhang and SF Dictator were there as well. And funnily enough, even Reptile from Mortal Kombat is there, only his personality and flesh identity is Smoke’s. Making Mortal Kombat, Tekken’s adopted brother, alongside Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men and Darkstalkers. It’s also revealed that Omega Rugal had powers of both Cyclops’ and Devil Jin’s laser beams. Making KOF as its divine brother. This is also the reason Tekken was invited to Smash Bros, because it’s a Namco replica of Sega’s Virtua Fighter. Asuka and Lili are clones of Sakura and Karin, so yeah. And Kazuya is straight up Ryu, thus Demitri being a Kazuya replica. Bishamon is a Yoshimitsu replica as well. Samurai Shodown’s Oboro, is the ancestor of the said Bishamon. Since Gouki had already made enemies like Kazuya, Heihachi, Rugal, Geese, Ryu, Adon, Guy, Dictator, Gen, Wolverine, Shang Tsung, Chameleon, Khameleon, Shao Kahn, Gouken, Toujin and Blackheart, makes sense why he connected Mortal Kombat and Tekken with Marvel, Capcom and SNK. Gallon is Saberwulf of Darkstalkers, and since Fulgore is the Sektor of Killer Instinct, makes sense why Sub Zero and Jago are the same person in different worlds. There’s also a time, he did merge EX Layer as well, he had enemies like Garuda and Kairi as well. But Garuda did overpower Gouki, so that only makes Kairi. To summarize, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Tekken, Samurai Shodown, Marvel Super Heroes, King Of Fighters, Darkstalkers, Street Fighter and EX Layer are in one multiverse. Meaning 10 universes grouped into 1. Too paranormal, knowing Garuda, Yuga and Maou Kazuya won’t get along too well like this. Bringing Virtua Fighter in the fray will only complicate things, as it was made by SEGA, so yeah that’s a problem in itself.
There is a secret boss in a Yakuza game with the name of Kazuya, he has the same moveset as kazuya and is very strong!
