I'll personally vouch for the Govee RGBIC strips. I had them on my desk before upgrading to some Corsair ST100 strips so I could sync my ambient RGB with my PC, and they were great. Great colors, great brightness, and the app was simple to use. Lots of great pre-programmed patterns, and super easy to set up my own.

Same. Currently I have Govee RGB strips on my table, It’s pretty good cause you can use it from your Alexa, to enable and disable, it also has its own app.

another substitute for the mouse pad is a cutting mat , works well if you prefer hard mouse pads and its super cheap for a3 size :D

That fan is actually a great investment along with a long fan that can blow air under your table. The two of these and a fan and you won't need an ac. Great long term investment and saves alot of money.

yes, the govee app allows to change brigtness, color and create animations. also works with google homes
