Now I want to see someone put together an entire orchestral piece using all of these instruments in some way.
Imagine being asked what instrument you play, then you respond saying “The Hurdy-Gurdy”
Less talk please! I want to hear the intrument

So you don’t want to learn, about the instruments, on a channel, that explains things, that’s weird, I didn’t complain, that a different video, on the same topic, didn’t explain the instruments, maybe watch that video instead, of complaining, on this one, P.S., I do not want a pointless argument, I just giving you opinion.

The metal band Eluevetite has been using a hurdy gurdy since they first started. Sounds great and works well with their music.
Cool... we only got to hear 3 instruments for more than 3 seconds. Some we didn't get to hear at all. Do your editors have brain damage or something?

The only one you didn't get to hear was the Marble Machine, which actually does have its own video on KZread. You heard enough to have an idea of the instruments work. Sometimes I guess people just want to be assholes.

I fangirled so hard when Patty Gurdy was on
I love the sound of the glass harmonica and the hydraulophone, it sounds so beautiful
1. the magic pipe invented by Mike Silverman, better known as That 1 Guy, itis a series of pipes stings and electronic componentry that creates a unique sound. 2. a Corillian eventually a series of bells with levers to create a harmonious sound 3. the laser harp. a series of laser beams that when broken emits a musical note 4. the Largaphone, popular in Australian bush bands this percussion instrument is basically a stick with a rubber stopper on one end about 1000 beer caps nailed to it down its length it is played by slamming it into the ground an striking it with a stick. 5, the Flatus flute, what can a say its a woodwind instrument you play by farting into itok so i cant come up with 10
you forgot to mention one of the reasons the glass harmonica was left in the past, it was often made with leaded glass.
Theremin has to be number 1
Fascinating! I wonder if you discovered, during your research, that Léon Theremin, inventor of the musical instrument of the same name, was involved in Russian espionage during the Cold War? I just Googled him and got the fact that it was one of his inventions, called "The Thing," was embedded into a wooden replica of the US Great Seal that was presented to the US embassy in Moscow by Russian school children in 1945. The Soviets then listened in on private and important conversations in the office until its discovery during remodeling in 1952! An interesting coincidence was that Hollywood horror films made great use of the theremin---including the original black and white film, "THE THING"!!!
I saw the Earth Harp in person this past summer at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo!
There needs to be a follow up video.
It’s all so Bjork!!! (What about Reactable?)
I AM A HURDY GURDIST I AM SO SURPRISED THAT THEY HAD ONE ON THE LIST. However they left out SOOOOOO much, like the trompett strings.
I loved the earth harp I remember seeing it live and I just had to follow that guy online to see more.
Great. Now I want to learn how to play the glass armonica and the Theremin.
What a coincidence, I randomly read about the theremin yesterday night and how it's Soviet inventor invented the very first wireless radio microphones for spying, like the great eagle seal and this was in 1940s when this might have been like a futuristic technology, truly a gifted inventor...
LOVE IT.. WELL DONE PEPES..
Hide this from Rob Scallon

0:07 & 4:41 That is at a church in Rockwall, TX called Lake Pointe Church. I go to church there.
Yes, the instrument still sounds eerie until this day and Theremin is the number one strangest musical instrument
I thought the Rusty Trombone would made the list 🤔🔊
The 27 new and unique instruments that composer Harry Partch designed should be in the list. They are artistic and produce some stunning sounds. Historically, one of the strangest instruments built was the Cahill Teleharmonium. This was a 27-ton instrument which was basically an electric power station attached to a keyboard, with each dynamo turbine playing a different note. Sadly, it no longer exists. Prepared piano is also pretty odd. This involves attaching various objects to piano strings, in order to turn an ordinary piano into a kind of percussion instrument.
What are you doing after school? I have a zeuzaphone lesson.
They have tesla coils at the Museum of Science in Boston. They play them during presentations on electricity in the Electricity Room. They're really fantastic to watch.
How do you not mention the Tesla coil without mentioning Björk's song Thunderbolt???

The corries played an instrument called the 28 string guitar and two instruments called Combolins which stringed instruments
the hydraulophone,is this the instrument used in the intro of hello africa by dr. alban?
yes i have seen the tesla coil play songs before and its awesome.

Why the hell haven't you done more countdowns on hard rock/heavy metal songs?!
Where are the Tchaikovsky cannons?
I wanna learn some of them instruments!
What's that song at the 6 minute mark?
Oh I did not realize that that was a hurdy-gurdy was in polar express
I suggested this about two years ago! XD
Where's the love for musical floppy drives
Interesting video
What about my fav contrabass flute
I want to play a Theremin now.
here's another one: the pig piano. invented in 1483, this bizarre instrument was made to entertain king Louis XI of France. it consists of several pigs on a bench ranging from small to big with a keyboard behind it. each key is connected to a spike, which when pressed hits the butt of the corresponding pig! the smaller the pig, the higher the note. crazily, it is actually possible to play a few tunes on it. the king was very impressed, in case you were interested.
5:59 what's the name of that music?
5:35 which song?
6:17 It sounds like the music of a Game Boy Advance Star Wars game.
You were playing my Zeldarrrrrzzzz. I jumped up like my 9 year old self when i heard it ❤❤❤
The songs played by the zeusaphone ( if you were wondering): 1. Legend Of Zelda. 2. Darude Sandstorm. 3. Imperial March.
My list: 10 Ophicleide 9 Slide saxophone 8 Schaumei 7 Piccolo trombone 6 Harmonitrompe 5 Theorbo 4 Viola da gamba 3 Cor Omnitonique 2 Cimbasso 1 Big Carl
Great editing! We’re these trending on a deaf social media website?
Strange indeed,WatchMojo
I'm missing a couple: The Yaybahar, The Laserharp and the Fire Organ.

The Fire Organ! It’s technical name is Pyrophone, but makes sound out of combustions (which grants the nickname “Explosion Organ”
Marble machine is awesome !! also the marble machine X is been made since long ago !! .. wintergatam channel is great !
How about the Gaffophone?
Is the Hurdy-Gurdy what they use for the music in all those cliche middle eastern scenes in movies?
The original version of the theme for Doctor Who used a theremin.

I remember Sheldon playing the theramin in an episode of the Big Bang Theory
Number 2 is awesome its like something a supervillain would do
The Theremin is #1, now I want to watch Midsomer Murders.
You gotta include the Yaybahar. Search for Görkem Şen.
You forgot David Byrne’s instrument: A Building
you forgot the otamatone
So the waterphone is how they make horror movie sounds?
If you like the Marble Machine, check out the Wintergatan channel for the building of Marble Machine X!
Yay Wintergatan!
You got the name of #4 wrong. It is a glass armonica, not a glass harmonica.
I swear, number ten is just the Swedish chef singing.
The zeusaphone is Tesla coil.
I always thought the Spritzer-Honker-Splasher-Sprinkler-Tweeter-Squirt of Sesame Street fame was one of the coolest, strangest, and definitely the wettest musical instrument I’ve ever seen.
Good lord. A lot of these look like they come from a Dr Seuss book.
Woohoo! Patty Gurdy!
In my head, the very words "hurdy gurdy" are now forever connected with the movie Zodiac.

That marble one sounded cool, but we didn't get to hear it.
