    So you don’t want to learn, about the instruments, on a channel, that explains things, that’s weird, I didn’t complain, that a different video, on the same topic, didn’t explain the instruments, maybe watch that video instead, of complaining, on this one, P.S., I do not want a pointless argument, I just giving you opinion.

    1. the magic pipe invented by Mike Silverman, better known as That 1 Guy, itis a series of pipes stings and electronic componentry that creates a unique sound. 2. a Corillian eventually a series of bells with levers to create a harmonious sound 3. the laser harp. a series of laser beams that when broken emits a musical note 4. the Largaphone, popular in Australian bush bands this percussion instrument is basically a stick with a rubber stopper on one end about 1000 beer caps nailed to it down its length it is played by slamming it into the ground an striking it with a stick. 5, the Flatus flute, what can a say its a woodwind instrument you play by farting into itok so i cant come up with 10

    Theremin has to be number 1

  • @oldenweery7510
    @oldenweery75105 жыл бұрын

    Fascinating! I wonder if you discovered, during your research, that Léon Theremin, inventor of the musical instrument of the same name, was involved in Russian espionage during the Cold War? I just Googled him and got the fact that it was one of his inventions, called "The Thing," was embedded into a wooden replica of the US Great Seal that was presented to the US embassy in Moscow by Russian school children in 1945. The Soviets then listened in on private and important conversations in the office until its discovery during remodeling in 1952! An interesting coincidence was that Hollywood horror films made great use of the theremin---including the original black and white film, "THE THING"!!!

    The 27 new and unique instruments that composer Harry Partch designed should be in the list. They are artistic and produce some stunning sounds. Historically, one of the strangest instruments built was the Cahill Teleharmonium. This was a 27-ton instrument which was basically an electric power station attached to a keyboard, with each dynamo turbine playing a different note. Sadly, it no longer exists. Prepared piano is also pretty odd. This involves attaching various objects to piano strings, in order to turn an ordinary piano into a kind of percussion instrument.

    here's another one: the pig piano. invented in 1483, this bizarre instrument was made to entertain king Louis XI of France. it consists of several pigs on a bench ranging from small to big with a keyboard behind it. each key is connected to a spike, which when pressed hits the butt of the corresponding pig! the smaller the pig, the higher the note. crazily, it is actually possible to play a few tunes on it. the king was very impressed, in case you were interested.
