you've sold me on jakou no lyla. genuine threesome endings!! omg! one of my favorite parts of cupid parasite were the two different (steamy!) harem endings. when they're all attracted to her, when they're all passing her around 😳 that was my personal heaven. they were too short!! dance with devils is my main motivation for wanting to learn japanese, especially since it got a switch port! i didn't even know they used dummy head mics for that game! I'm prepared to be vaporized.. 🥵

how is your journey in learning japanese? I've tried but have never gotten the time nor the motivation to learn a new language (huge procrastinator) but its still true i really wanted to play those japanese games that didn't get a chance for translation. i think one way to solve my issue (other than wishing i have more time outside of work) is to have a learning buddy for japanese XD

I think because it comes across as fun and whimsical, which it is, but it makes you feel every emotion ever! I hope they localize the Birushana FD because you're right, the main game didn't have a lot of that. I prefer the mature art styles more too. LOL Akaza in OS just blew me away. I really loved Olympia Soiree Yosuga route. And Kuroba was also great but Yosuga just went beyond and above any of my expectations. Very well crafted characters with different personalities but still adult and mature. The rest of the men so Akaza and Riku are way less exciting in my opinion. Thank you for the video btw. @@LinLinLavender I really liked Akaza as a person but the unfortunate thing was the heroine that really acted childrish and fussy with him. It was not the case for Kuroba and Yosuga route. Also usually, the bad endings are pretty dissapointing from the romance point of view but the Kuroba and Yosuga bad ends were just characters going a little bit insane which i really love. I know Tokisada has the interesting bad ending but the thought he is underage for their standard was too offputting for me to go through it.

The number one game does sound very interesting. The setting of having to seduce the men sounds good. For some reason it made me think of the RPG Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines that I played ages ago when you play a female vampire and seduce men and convince them to go to a secluded space only to bite their neck and suck their blood.

LOL you getting red in the face, especially when you mentioned the uncensored versions. I'd be with you there girl whoo! I can even write or draw kiss scenes without going scarlet in the face. But that's what happens when you're raised in a Catholic household, you tend to be sheltered lol. Heck when I read my first romance novel, I didn't fully realize I was reading a "birds and bees" scene at first because of the lingo and when it finally did click, I was like, "OMG but they aren't even married yet!" I was 18 (my mom wouldn't let me read romance novels until I was that age because my aunt was trying to introduce me to them when I was a teen lol). But yeah, I think I love steaminess in a game because well, I am not getting any action myself so I like getting it this way hahaha. Yeah Akaza's route from Olympia Soiree . . oooooohhh nelly! His voice is awesome. I am sucker for dudes who like him. Heck one of my fav cut scenes wasn't even steamy, but it did make my little heart flutter due to how heroic Akaza looked. Love a man who will fight for his woman mmmhmm!!

But lately I had no time and obviously overworked myself, because - probably also due to weather - I currently have problem seeing. I had too many things to do, too, but after I do Christmas shoping today I plan, again, trying to play SOMETHING. I also bought 2 days ago game, I reallly once was hyped for, but was passing out on pc often... But now it was from 40 to 14€ bergain, so maybe I will try with this JRPG(Caligula Effect Overdose) to at least start playing games again. I like watch LinLin, or Resting Peach otome videos, but with 'playthrough', I am stupid type, that prefere to play myself. Yes, Jakou no Lyla has a PC version, Chou no Doku as well...the others are mostly on console sadly

Half of them are in English ;) but yes, I obviously high recommend learning Japanese with and for otome games - as that's what I did 😁

love pheromone is one of the hottest game i've recently played.

I love otome game, but I think I'll only play it on mobile for now (I don't have any gaming device beside a Switch Lite and I don't even buy many games there), but this is an interesting video to check if I were getting them.

@@LinLinLavender Console game is currently not an option in my life as an academia who has moved country twice the past three years (and planning to move again in the next two) and I pretty much abandon my otome game every time I cohabitate/in a relationship, but, hey, maybe one day in the future I'll get a chance to! I'm definitely building at least a gaming PC once I finish my PhD. 😂 My Asian parents don't believe in console, so I never had one, but maybe I'll get one in the future. Thanks for the video.

But honestly I think some of the best are already in English: Olympia Soirée, Cupid Parasite, Tengoku (soon), Piofiore (there are actually two games), Butterfly Poison (very special style) I think Diabolik Lovers has an English patch it's not my kind of steamy as it builds heavily on non con and humiliation, but it's extremely popular So first enjoy all of those before you feel sad about the ones that are not localised - by the time you've finished all of them there might be more English games or your Japanese more advanced 🥰 In my opinion some of the best current games do get localised so 🥳

Crimson flower comes out in English in Feb and Tengoku struggle will be in English in 2024. Shuuen no Virche, Jack Jeanne and Norn9 are coming out this year in English too I think! 😁

It's just yuri games though. Otome is referring to a specific dynamic of fem protag and mostly male LIs. There's female LIs but very very little.

Heart of the Woods and Seabed are really popular yuri VNs that are on both PC and consoles! A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986 is also really good, really captures the vibe of retro HK. The Hella Yuri page on Steam has a bunch more recommendations, though they're not all VNs.
