These songs are already very emotional ones for me but your descriptions of them made me tear up, your words perfectly capture the essence of these behemoths.

This video was made really well, I'm glad to see that. I don't really have any sort of emotional explanation as to why I like the songs I do, but my favourite Sonic song is I Am All Of Me. It's pretty a song that explains all of Shadow's conflicting thoughts and emotions towards the beginning of his self-titled game, and I think it was really well written out. One verse showed the side that valued justice, another showed the side that tells him there's no point in caring about the people around him, and considering he lost his memory and forgot who he was (again), I think it did a good job of displaying that. With a kickass instrumental to back it up I might add. The instrumental just has badass written all over it, but in a darker fashion than the other Sonic songs, and Shadow is supposed to be the darkest and most emotionally conflicted character in the series, so the fact they made this particular song darker than the rest further adds to the value of it as a whole. Shadow's had multiple theme songs, but I think this one is his best, not just because it sounds good, but because it's the one that best explains his character. Granted, he's had multiple changes in character, but I mean taking all of those into account, every theme of his that explained all of his different personality changes. I feel I Am All Of Me was his best. Other notable favourites of mine are Endless Possibilities, Knight of the Wind, Never Turn Back, Doomsday Zone, Sky Sanctuary and Radical Highway.

I swear that SonScotty goes almost too deep in his explanations for any of his top 10's.

I have a special spot for Knight Of The Wind. I've loved it since I was a kid. I remember back when I didn't know how to download songs, so I would play Knight Of The Wind off of my pc and record it in 10 second clips using my 3DS' Sound Application, recording the entire song and then listening to it on the go like that. THAT'S how much I loved that song. Ahh... the memories.

I agree with the most part for not only because a lot of these are my favorites also but you took the time to explain my you liked them and why you like them that almost seams philosophical. Plus the way you added extra video content for the music for which I thought fit the music that was playing gave it a cinematic feeling to it that made it feel truly unique. For that I have huge respect for you. Great Job in this video!

ENDLESS POSSIBILITY!!! To see that at the top spot of this list makes me weep in joy. I sang along the entire time you had it playing. That song, in my opinion, represents Sonic in a way that no other song does. He's FAST, upbeat, and a kindhearted being, but when true power needs to be Unleashed to save those in need, Sonic will let it all out. I can't listen to Endless Possibility without crying, I'm serious. I have so many memories of that song, and I always use it when playing Generations' version of Rooftop Run. All these songs are why I love Sonic as a franchise so much. I notice you've made a playlist of all these songs...

Sonic adventure 2 batltle was like THE best Sonic game I've played. The plot, the music, the characters personalities, and the Chaos! :D Wish they would make a similar game like it.

There are certainly a number of favorites on this list for me too, but there are certainly some other songs that I also like. One such song is, surprisingly, "Diamond in the Sky" from "Sonic R." It helps keep my head up during hard times; I can feel Amy, Sonia, Cosmo, and even Rouge (some of my favorite ladies from the Sonic series) singing this to me as if they're out there in the clear night sky. Another favorite because of similar circumstances is "Live Life" from "Sonic & the Black Knight." 2009, the same year Black Knight was released, ranks with 2005 as one of the worst times of my life. My time of heavy misfortune (which really started after my grandmother passed away in June 2004) continued all the way until the summer of 2011. Even so, early 2008 was the best time of my life, although it ended up being only a brief, five-month break from my misery. In the fall of 2011, after hearing "Live Life" online, I bought Black Knight's soundtrack solely for this song. That and "Diamond in the Sky" kept me going, even with life's adversity continually trying to surround me.

Lewis Fletcher that had multiple endings so it isn't really certain, but if you wait till after the credits in sa2 it is revealed that eggman saved him. But the shadow in heroes is an android and not the real shadow.

At the end of team dark in heroes, it is revealed that he may or may not be real. But in shadow the hedgehog, it turns out he was created from black dooms blood making him the real one.

Although Endless Possibilities is not my favourite song it deservs the first place in your list. I still like the song, not because of the music/instrumental part (how should I explain that?), but because of the message, how you explained very well. It says that we all have the power. to make our dreams come true and do what we want and love. it's iside of all of us. but we often forget that and let our negative emotions come over us. Maybe because we dont believe in ourselfs, because it's to hard to make it come true or some people dont want us to do it. But "There's a power in me that you newer know. Then let it out. It 's inside you" No matter what happens, we're still stronger than this negative emotions. We can do it all. If we really want it. We all got to start from somewehere I know in my heart that it's MY time. And you've already seen. The possibilities are NEVER ENDING I see it, i see it. It's always been inside my reach. I love how you don't just say the song, let it play for 30 seconds, and then move on to the next one. Instead, you go deep into the song and explain its importance, the gravity of its lyrics, and what it means for the franchise as a whole. It really puts these songs in a different light that we've never seen before. (Oh yeah, and I think the Adventure games will always have the best music, with Sonic CD's Japanese soundtrack not far behind.)

I was NOT expecting the entry at number 1...pretty cool :) I think I have too many to count...I need to put that many hours in Sonic music myself xD Fortunately, I'm probably going to end up doing quadruple that with all the music included because I've dedicated a whole channel to discussing Sonic media - from 91 to now! But enough advertising...Green Hill is very classic, the intro to CD is my personal fav of the two, I love just about every song in Adventure 1 but It Doesn't Matter and Open Your Heart truly speak to me, as well as Big's Theme - surprising, ain't it? I also love a couple songs from SA2 like Live and Learn...OF COURSE.... -_-' Um...City Escape is a no brainer. I grew up with Heroes later on in life and literally love the entire OST xD it just sounds to technoy, so wonderful! But Teams Chaotix, Sonic, and Dark have great songs. Rose's is just okay...not one I'd listen to often. Sonic Heroes is awesome too. Knight of the Wind and Fight the Knight are equal in my eyes. I love Unleashed but man they really needed Crush 40 in it...some amazing stuff it would have had. Um....That's all the games I can think of xD I like Satam's, Underground's, and Sonic X's themes, too. Had throw in the shows lol Ah, such great music....
