Fun fact my friend: Porky doesn’t appear AT ALL in ultimate in ANY WAY! So it could be that he may appear as a character since he’s the only boss that doesn’t have any appearance from past smash games

Dragon Quest and Tower of Drauga before that pioneered the JRPG. Yet we got a Final Fantasy rep before either. Hell, Gilgamesh got made into a Mii costume. So clearly pioneer the genre doesn’t matter much. Even though Doom wasn’t the first FPS.

it's weird because ive heard people say the same things like "i got my character so im satisfied" when i'm over here, still not satisfied :c i guess i'm fine with banjo but like, it's not a dream character, i just think he's neat... i feel like some people got their ridley, simon and krool, and i'm over here like "i know sora and rayman are never gonna get in so whats the point"

I am 99% sure Sora is definitely getting in. The 1% is on the off chance Disney decides to keep him in their cage or make it very difficult for Nintendo to use him because that's often how Disney do.

We all know that the next dlc fighter and all the characters from the 2nd fighter pass are going to be fire emblem characters and maybe porky

Big thing to consider: Sakurai has stated that more than anything else, he wants to expand the reach of Ultimate. He realizes a game like this will likely never happen again, and so he wants to set the record as high as he can _while_ he can. Specifically, he's said he wants to add as many new worlds to Ultimate as possible. That means that characters from already-represented franchises have a much, MUCH smaller chance of making an appearance.

Ronnie the 14xx | I doubt it. As long as Sakurai is calling the shots I don't think he'd want another representative from Fire Emblem any more than he'd want a fresh Mario rep. I wouldn't be surprised if every additional character was third party, although I admit Nintendo may grow tired of the legal battles. (Also, could you tell me what SWSH is? I don't recognize the acronym.)

Ronnie the 14xx | Wait, you mean the new Pokemon? Since Sakurai is choosing off a list, I don't think he'd want a new Pokemon unless he had no more third parties left, and even then he's probably just turn to untouched Nintendo franchises.

@@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth Sword and shield. My reasoning for thinking Three Houses will get a rep is simply because, they don't have any spirits. Most new games have gotten spirits to tie in with there release, Like Daemon x Machena and NSMBU Deluxe. Yet Three Houses and Astral Chain didn't, which seems very suspicious. Also just feel like getting Grookey's final Evo in the game is likely

He's an assist trophy. There more than enough as a valid reason.

The only characters that make sense are Doom Guy, Bandana Dee, FE Three Houses character and Porky. The rest are very unlikely and stupid. Non video game characters cannot be in Smash Bros. 😑
