Thank you for this comprehensive overview of the best of 2023, very useful as I'm still undecided on a smart watch upgrade. Always been tempted by Samsung watches, but the battery (2.5 days is not enough, especially when Huawei and other brands can last a week +) and Samsung phone only features are a problem for me. Had the Tic Watch Pro 5 in mind, so this has confirmed my choice 👍. Keep those great reviews coming Chigz.

Thank you for your comment! The Galaxy Active 2 indeed used to be my fav. It launched back in 2019. Since then many better galaxy watches have been introduced, with more health features, but keeping that same minimal design. The GW4, GW5 and GW6 are better.

What's the size of your galaxy watch 6 classic?

Hi, just wondering, since you didn't mention it, the second place was for samsung galaxy watch 6 classic, but what is the battery time for that one. Was just curious since it's a nice looking one and you used it all year long. Suppose that you know more or less how long the battery lasts.

GW6 Classic lasts between 2.5 to 3 days with typical use.

Chigz, amazing review. I personally own the tic pro 3 ultra and love it Huawei has 🔥 watches and I think a watchbtha should be a runner up would be Mobvoi E3. A watch I personally own is the Asus Zenwatch 2. I wish Asus came with that 🔥 Chigz.

Totally agree with all choices. I miss my huawei pro 2, got to get another soon, and mobvoi is one of my all time favorites . I still love watching reviews. At 72 yrs old.

I've been biased to choose between the Ticwatch 5 Pro, Huawei GT 4 (the green edition) and the Amazfit Balance.

I currently have the venu 2 plus. I was considering changing but after your review i don't think there is anything better. Garmin pay works really well and you don't need your phone with you.

Thanks to your quality review, I invested in the Mobvoi TicWatch, in Sandstone! The battery life is awesome. I flew on vacation and forgot the charge cable, I locked it on Essential mode after the first 3 days, and it lasted the 9 days until my plane was landing! Cheers Dude!

Cant say enough good things about my watch 6 classic. Highly recommend. Especially if you already have a samsung phone.

Can you also highlight which have LTE / the best watch if you need LTE. Seems only Samsung and Google?

I would suggest watching my full review for each watch for a better idea of what to expect from each smartwatch. But if you want my suggestion, I would recommend the GT4 or Ticwatch, as you there are some limitations with Samsung, the ECG and BP will not work with the pixel. Your decision between the GT4 and Ticwatch is based on whether you need WearOS or not.

I do enjoy your videos and for the most part appreciate your opinion. But with the worst build quality and non existent software support, no Ticwatch should ever top a list. Saying that Amazfit are almost as bad with software updates.

You’re forgetting that this sounds in galaxy watch 4 and the Samsung galaxy watch4 classic are on huge discounts and do most of the stuff that the five and six do for cheaper

i would put huawei gt4 in first place it has best battery life and best accuracy in tracking

You do realise ALL smartwatches collect your personal data, including movement, location, username, passwords and lots more. The world we live in privacy is very important, but at the same time nearly impossible to 100% trust any brand. No matter which smartwatch you go for, you are accepting their terms and conditions when using their product. I wonder how many people read the terms and conditions? Your smartphone is also collecting your data everyday, that data gets shared to various businesses to provide relevant ads. To blame one company about privacy is silly. Huawei were targeted by the US because the brand was doing better than Apple. That's the only truth. There is no evidence against them at all. I appreciate Huawei technology, which is both innovative and affordable.

Why no huawei watch 4 Pro?

How can you give tic watch the #1 spot? They're software support is questionable at best and no Google assistant? And inaccurate health tracking...

I already have the GW 5 44mm ⌚️ but just my opinion I like my GW 5 44mm on everything but I also want to buy the GW 6 Classic 47mm ⌚️👍🏾💯 because my Wrist⌚️ 🫳🏾 is bigger and just my opinion bigger watch face is better for guys small face is for the ladies no aoffense taking. But that white ⚪️ smart watch ⌚️ Is very beautiful I just wish that the watch face was a 47mm or 50mm for my wrist

💥💥I like Samsung phones but but not really their watches. I got the Samsung Galaxy watch 4 44 mm LTE version and the battery life is terrible and then I see people who got Galaxy watch 5 and 6 and they're having problems with battery drain and stuff. I don't see why Samsung can't make a watch that goes 7 to 14 days on one charge like all these Hawaii watches and tic watch. Other watch companies can seem to pull it off but Samsung can't for some weird reason🙄 I'm not a Apple fan but I'm surprised the apple watch wasn't in the top ten.

Dropped at the start of the year, so the best watches that released in 2023 but available to buy in 2024.

Sadly your nr1 have Quality issues. so many people complaining on amazon the watch broke after half year or so

No because there is no LTE version of this watch. You need your phone with you.
