Pay the professional dancers the celebrity pay, pay the celebrities the ‘pro’s’ pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN I FOUND OUT HOW LITTLE THEY MADE-I QUIT WATCHING!!! I do check in occasionally but as an ex dancer it pisses me off!!! Maybe it’s just me.... ok I’m going now...

Growing up, I always watched the Hungarian version of DWTS at home and I was like a superfan. Everything about this show seemed such a fairy-tale, I always wanted to do the show once and learn some ballroom dances. I spent a lot of time watching KZread videos of the American version and now, I decided to watch the 28th Season. I must say, (yes-there are some problems but) overall I find it fascinating and very enteretaining. Most people are abset about the elimination part which can be irritating but at least from this year the judges can save the better dancer from the bottom 2. The fact that some talentless dancers or just boring onces have bigger fanbases than the great/improved dancer is bad, but Talent shows work that way. I like the judges and the celebrities very much, thank you for this video ❤️❤️I always support somone who embodies what the show is about. Rooting for Kate Flannery this year👑, because she is surprisingly good, has a fun personality and IMPROVES every week wich is like the most important thing in the compatition. His pro, Pasha is like the most refreshing thing in the show and his coreos are alaways excellent.

the real #1: the judges might as well not even be there since the fan votes continue to be prioritized thus allowing terrible dancers like Sean Spicer & Bobby Bones to continue longer than they should :/ also, my most wanted celebs are odd picks....Jason David Frank ( Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers ) and Sasha Grey :P and yes I know that 2nd one would never happen for obvious reasons ( though if you ask me having politicians & reality "stars" on the show is more offensive than she'd ever be :P )

Okay, but they're just describing what it means to be a competitive dancer. I was a dancer for 15 years and none of this is new to me.

Ex triple threat here, had illness not taken me down: dancers are the harder working performers ever on the planet BAR NONE! Oh, you wanna come for me and say nah, singers, or actors??? Nope: DANCERS!!! AND NO FRIGGIN HEALTH INSURANCE!!! Pay for ‘all that repair’ later in life in more ways than one!!! And now I hear this ‘no money’ for dancers??? We have NOT ADVANCED!!! I think this season has improved a lot especially with the fact that the judges get to decide which of the bottom two couples they want to save this year! Even though I can’t believe that Spicer is still on and needs to go home! I wonder if casting directors would ever allow plus size dancers to be pros on DWTS!

The host would always talk about the spray tan, so that one wasn't a big secret. The clothing part was a little surprising, because a lot of what the female contestants wear just look like formal dresses that tend to run around $300 - $400. Five thousand a piece is in league with a couture item, which some of the costumes do look couture. But I would say the fact that everything is tailor made is what drives that price up, rather than materials.

Concepcion30 They are virtually all hand made, custom garments that are not only tailored to these specific people but also conceived by the design staff & the pro (sometimes with input from the celeb) to fit the song, theme, and overall aesthetic of the episode/season. If that isn't couture, I don't know what is. The biggest difference between couture and DWTS is time. They don't have the luxury of weeks or months in hand sewing intricate garmenrs. I do imagine that the costume department works all year to plan and prepare some elements in advance of any celebrities chosen.

None of these are "secrets", unless you don't follow the show

You should do a video on which Celebrites that you would Love to see On Dancing With The Stars? I would Love to see Dwayne the Rock Johnson with Daniella Karagach, Sofie Dossi, Tamera Mowry, christi lukasiak, toderick hall, sofia wylie. And they need to bring back the Trio week and the Switch up week where they switch the pros on DWTS and the 24 hour fusion!!!! I hope they bring that back next season on season 33!!

i loved the old format of DWTS when they had pro performances on tuesdays

"They only make $5,200 per week" (re the "pros") aka $250k/year if it was a yearly salary. Still kinda kushy mate.

@@maryhermosa1873 Exactly, so they have the rest of the year to keep making big bucks. Either they make 250k per year and above ordinarily, or DWTS is giving them a good deal. If they make more than $250k year they still would take it because their name keeps relevant. Seems like a good deal to me regardless.

I know not all of the stars are well off, but a lot of them are millionaires if not greater. These guys aren't doing it for the money that's for sure, but rather the exposure. Zendaya comes to mind and the fact that when she did the show she was still a relative unknown. But now she's an A-lister.

They need another all stars season

As a competitive amateur balloon dancer I can say that 'real' ballroom dresses also cost that much. With all the stones hand placed it's alot of labor. Yikes! Not a cheap hobby 😉

Some of the dancers have earned celebrity status! The pay gap is ridiculous! These dancer probably won't be dancing into retirement due the physical demands and their pay is just WRONG - especially in CA!!

They need new judges. The three are old news and stagnant. Get some that are fresh and happy and actually give good feedback....and aren’t racist and biased. Otherwise the show has done a lot to evolve. It’s just the judges are shite.

Why is Sean Spicer on this season??

"They are paired by size and height." Really? REALLY?? I'm sorry, that's a BS answer. I've seen plenty of height differences where I've wondered why these tall, tall guys are not paired with 5'-6" Edyta or 5'-7" Peeta instead of Cheryl or Anna who are 5'-4". And wtf is Katz's problem with Tony that she never wanted to give him a partner who, idk, WANTED to dance? He always got people who were 20 years older or just would not put in the work.

It was a terrible idea to bring Sean in, please don't do that with any politician anymore
