Scariest thing in ark is when you beat the king titan and then try to download your character back to extinction and the game crashes somehow deleting your character and several months of work

I would have voted for a Gallimimus, I've lost count the number of times I've been stalking a dino just to have one of those little sh*ts screech next to me and make me jump.

​@@p3wp3wCthulhu thats actually how I was jump scared I was watching over a creature I was taming and I just heard something running at me and freaked out...lil did I know a few seconds after a galli ran out of the brush...only to actually be followed by a raptor...lost a good tame that day but ngl it was funny

Anti mesh is horrifying. Only place I’ve been thanos snapped so far is moving a Rex up against the Tek Cave door. Got blasted with 9999 true damage and my bag was disintegrated

the one thing though that scares me the most in ARK are bluescreens/crashes and disconnects, not even GCM can save you, that and map kill zones.

Ngl, the carcha getting its special ability making it super fast with glowing eyes, is pretty scary for me. You think you got away from it, then you hear its fast footsteps coming right behind you, then dead you are

I accidentally tamed one, I was trying to explore the biome and I was preparing for Taming one so I had blood packs on me, I got kidnapped and BOOM, now I have Jerry

next top ten you could do "Best Early Game Tames for The Island" think its a good idea? maybe you could also do the other maps too make a series of it personally my favourite early game tames for the island are raptors, iguanodons and moschops great to see the seeker here

@@eribertovelazquez3556 yes he has done best creatures for each map but he has not done best creatures for early game on a specific map (i couldn't find any at least) you see the early game can be different for each map you need the best creatures possible to give you the best possible chance of surviving the maps many creatures and sometimes difficult terrain (im looking at you aberration) i just thought it would be a good idea to see what the community thought was best for each map in the early game

I usually skip raptors and just go with Sarco for my first carnivore, easier to tame since they are usually by themselves instead of a pack and better than a raptor in most areas. Sure raptors can run faster on ground, but sarcos have way more health, more stamina, more carry weight and can swim really really fast.

Scariest thing in Ark? When you're flying, and it runs out of stamina and you slowly descend into a Giga

A lot of things gotta go wrong before you manage to do that

The kapros make going through the swamps on any Ark map at night scarier then playing any actual horror game.

Literally my first look of the nameless, Reaper, and Rockwell was horrifying for me.Then the corrupted came around and having to deal with SWARMS of them during orbital drops. Being under equipped for one of those is the worst sinking feeling. Also Araneos, naturally. They give me Frostspider flashbacks from Skyrim.

The only thing I was scared of was the summoner, even with my absolutely op mutated shadowmane I still struggled to kill one, I found the best way to kill it through melee by pushing it into a corner

I recently played on Genesis 1 (a map I normally avoid specifically because of the missions) but while traveling through the swamp area I got grabbed by not one, not two, but TEN different bloodstalkers in like five minutes. THOSE THINGS ARE EVERYWHERE.

I agree with summoners being number one. Even when I'm zooming through there in my tek suit expecting them, they still creep me out when they squeal and appear right in my face.

I think a good top 10 would be the main menu Music. Am I the only one that wishes we could choose which menu music to use? (My favorite has always been the original, and least favorite is the gen 2 menu music. Maybe that’s why I think about this so often? Lol). But yea, anyway, I think it’d be a good top ten, specially if you included the old seasonal event menu themes!

I feel like the megatherium should’ve been on this. You’re just walking past then suddenly it’s starts attacking you for like 400 damage, and insane speed and damage reduction. I am literally terrified of them in scorched earth because of the abundance of insects

One thing to note about the Nameless is that they were once people.

Carno all the way. When you get used to the game, sure, it's a weakling you can beat on foot with a bow. But when you're first starting the game and don't know anything, one of those stomping around your thatch base or biting through it is a pure terror.

Bloodstalker was my top choice but after seeing the short vid of a summoner, something I have never seen in Ark yet. I'm very much in agreement with y'all and no thanks, I'm good, don't need to see that at all in my game.

The Rockwell node needs to go back to Elden Ring or Scorn where it belongs. I haven't been caught by a Kapro in a while (...I tame them before they can jump me :P ), but can't you also net gun them while in their jaw ? Much like the Thyla. 9:25 MY GOD that was a good shot. The angle, the slo-mo, everything.

I know you don't decide the order, but I'm shocked the reaper wasn't #1. Was the vote close? Jumpscare value aside those things are easily the scariest creatures in ark. Seems like an easy #1 if I were ranking them.
