Just Your Average Fangirl Yeah exactly! I remember in the scene he blink completely normally the whole time too, the only time he was in danger was when he got the information he wanted and smiled, so he quickly had to compose himself when Koh looked at him

I'm definitely sure some character from Courage The Cowardly Dog will appear on this list. That show was freaking awesome and Scary as well.

Eh, the list is "Scariest Cartoon Villains" not "Best Cartoon Villains" or "Most Badass Cartoon Villains" so I think it's fine he's not here. He was a dope villain and imposing for sure but not necessarily scary. Trigon wasn't either. Hell, the scariest thing on Teen Titans would probably be Raven when she gets all demon-y or Beast Boy when he turns into that sasquatch thing.

I've not seen the video yet, but Zs'skayr (Ghostfreak from Ben10) should be on this list.

As can I. I didn't experience some of these myself, but the reasoning they used is solid. Thought I would've liked Rampage to be on the list. Though I'm not sure he counts as "Scary". Fun? yes. Scary?...sorta. I say 'Fun' mainly cause his ...Enthusiasm...for what he does is (to me at least) quite entertaining.

Honestly, while Koh the face stealer was scary as a kid, the most terrifying villain from avatar was Hama, the innkeeper. The last waterbender of the Southern water tribe, who taught katara blood bending and who learned how to control people’s bodies and torture them deserved to be on this list. I still get chills and frightened watching that episode as an adult.

I'm so glad you added Koh the Face Stealer. I remember watching that episode and having nightmares the very night.

Something else that adds to HIM's already considerable creepiness is the fact that he is voiced by the same actor who plays the Professor. So basically the ultimate symbols of good and evil in the series share a very similar voice. This could also be an exploration of the elemental fear of your loved ones secretly working against you and completely betraying your trust. (I also wish that there was an episode where HIM transformed into the Professor and traded places with him)

Could you guys do a series of the top ten most evil villains? Have videos for categories like cartoons, video games, movies, TV, comics, literature, and anime to name a few. Then have the final video take the top contenders from each video and have them compared to see who is the most monstrous of the monsters.

Dr. Claw from the original Inspector Gadget should have gotten an honorable mention yes he didn't do a whole lot but the villain who is voiced by both Don Francks and Frank Welker had the most unearthly deep voices I will never forget not to mention THAT LAUGH I remember as a little kid being on the fence on whether I wanted to see or whether I didn't want to see what homeboy's face looked like

Slade from Teen Titans. When He comes on screen it goes from a fun silly tone to a darker one.He is the Teen Titans arch nemsis. He poison the Titans until Robin was his apprentice. But it didn't work. He wants the Titans dead and hates them for no reason. Expected he wants to take over the city. He made Terra his apprentice. So the Titans would dead. Then started controlling her. Also in Birthmark, he chased Raven toture her and mind rape her. Showing a bad future and then throw her saying happy birthday. Also in the end, we see his flesh and bones. Creepy.

If HIM isn’t here I won’t be happy! *after watching* ah yes. Like he should be. ;)

What about Jim Cummings' version of Dr Robotnik from the 1993 Sonic the Hedgehog TV Series? He was utterly terrifying! I'm still scared of him today, and I'm 21!! Also, My Little Pony has some pretty creepy villians too, like Chrysalis or Tirek.

For me It was the horn king from the black cauldron his haunting glowing crimson eyes and his sharp overbite fangs with the malevolent voice of John hurt terrified me a small child

Wait What about slade from teen titans?

XANA's pretty scary despite never really speaking (once to Jeremie and friends when he's lured them into a trap) and mostly being an offscreen presence. He's an evil AI who has the ability to possess living organisms including people, has tried to murder the heroes in a myriad of ways, even including in a nuclear explosion, and was successful over the heroes for a while in that it tied the love interest's life to it until it could escape the supercomputer and infect other computers wherever it pleases. Which it did. Also, Freaky Fred was creepy, but Katz and the Harvest Moon Spirit were far more intimidating. One's a serial killer; the other is very much in the uncanny valley.

My story about the lich... My Birthday, I just turned 7 years old and made a ton of money, more than ever before. The rest of the week we were busy, but about a week later we went to the mall, I wanted to get a sick new pair of shoes. I was at journeys or some streetwear place trying on a pair of size 1 white, purple, and neon green nike hightops. But in the corner of the store was a tv mounted for people trying on shoes to watch. The lady helping me with my shoes was actually the first to tell me feet aren't the exact same size. Anyway, on the tv was the adventure time episode "The Lich" and I remember seeing the yellow and pink wall guy, and that old man who turned out to be the lich and killed billy or was billy or something (definitely gonna rewatch the lich era). And that episode made me secretly watch the rest every night and even tho i had nightmares i still watched it, the lich is number one on my list. So much nostalgia. Thank you watchmojo for this reminder. And thank you all for reading. 👍

One cartoon villain that really deserved a mention here is Alpha from Men in Black: The Series.
