I love the +/-$30k and Cape Dory ... Although I haven't purchased yet, the price point. And the cape dory both get my attention.

Please include more data on the boats in your videos - waterline versus overall length for marinas + HP of Engine + headroom as I am 6'2" + anything else that you feel would help in qualifying the boat for our needs...

I had written to the owner of the Hughes 38 about the water damaged floor a month ago as I was looking at this boat and he advised it was because they had accidentally left the front hatch open during a down pour. I did go see a similar boat in Toronto and it was a bit small for my family of 5.

The CD 25 was designed George Stadel. I think you showed the specs for the CD25D, which was an Albert boat.

Hughes 38 same s & s design as catalina 38 and yankee 38

Hi Mitchell! I saw the S&S design info but nothing about the Yankee 38 (I love that boat and her tumblehome), or the Catalina 38 (same with this one, but not as crazy about the coach roof design) which are both more than a foot wider at the beam. I did however see that the Hughes 38-1 mold was acquired by Hinckley and became the Hinckley 38. Thanks for the intel and thank you for watching!

Sheesh, way to put me on the spot! Most Popular Ever Built could be subjective (number made, or cult favorites?), but I would go with Hinckley, Swan, Baltic, Jeanneau, Catalina, Beneteau, J-Boats, Halberg-Rassy, Oyster, Morgan, C&C, Ericson, Cal, Cape Dory, and Pearson. Not all models on all of these, obviously, and in no particular order. What would be your list?

@@boatfools The potential for serious deck problems is much, much greater in sailboats with Balsa Core decks. Your show would be much more valuable if you say that you have screened out sailboats with Balsa Core decks. You could elevate your show by telling people that you have screened out Balsa Core decks!
