You left out = The ability to see the very satisfying mechanical movement of the cylinder and the audible clicks (also satisfying) of single action firing

I own 2 Charter Arm Revolvers. Both have 4 inch Barrels. 22 rf "Pathfinder" 8 shot cylinder, 357 Magnum "Bulldog" 5 shot cylinder. I Handload for the 357.

The only concern I'd have is the reduced velocity and increased recoil due to the short barrel.
