Red Skull sounds awfully Italian in the Captain America movie.
Why did she say in the movie, Generation X was "strangely" led by Emma Frost and Banshee that's actually comic book accurate. I've seen all but 3 films on this list, but I never ever heard of the Man Thing film.

2:20 Toei Japan also had their own version of Spiderman that ran from 1978-1979. The costume was indeed faithful but Spidey also sported a giant mecha / robot that would fight giant-sized monsters. Unlike the 1977 USA version, this one had occasional reasonable and tolerable character deaths as the story progressed and was more realistic in that it dealt with grimmer plots such as betrayal and murder.
Punisher 89 is underrated. Can you imagine a new movie with Dolph playing an older Frank Castle 20 years on from this

At the time that 70's Spider-Man series was happening, Spider-Man was in Japan, also in live action, but piloting a megazord.
The completionist in me means I've got copies of all of these and at the time they were the only way of seeing live action comic characters, yes some were cheesy & some were bizarre but they had some redeeming qualities to them . Dolphs Punisher minus the skull emblem still nailed the look of the 90's comic character. Man thing needs a reboot now due to the whole multiverse saga as he's the "Nexus of all realities" Generation X as far as characters go was fairly accurate to the comics rosta. This list makes me so grateful for Chris Evans’ MCU Cap. I think I remember my Grandpa watching that awful Man-Thing movie on SyFy.
I knew about Howard the Duck, but mostly because he keeps wondering around the MCU. Thinking about it now, I might of seen him on TV at a friend's house when I was younger, but I never learned the name of the movie or cared much about the plot. I just saw pieces of it with a live action anthropomorphic duck on screen. When you said The Punisher I mistook it for the 2004 film, which I did see but it had been so long I had forgotten who played Frank. I never even heard about the 1989 film. I knew there was a live action Captain America movie before Chris Evans, but only because he steals a car in it, which was something that was referenced in Winter Soldier. I'm not even sure which movie that was. Arrested Development is the only reason why I know about the original Fantastic Four movie, as Tobias fell in love with the acting of a fishing wire that portrayed Susan Storm while she was invisible, mistaking it for the actresses' doing.

I knew about all those movies except for the tv movie about dr. strange. that i didn't know about, but i know about the others already. in fact, i remember watching generation x on tv, when it debut for the first time. if memory serves me correctly, the pilot not only didn't do well, but they also cancelled the encore showings on tv because of how bad it was, but honestly i still liked it. Yeah, the effects were crappy even by 90's standards for a TV show back then, but it was still an interesting show i think.
I was a fan of Howard the Duck in the comics and liked the movie too.

WatchMojo should have included one honorable mention: Doctor Mordrid (1992 - Full Moon) which was originally planned to be a Dr. Strange film until the rights were lost. You can see the footprints and remnants all over it. From IMDb: "This movie was originally conceived as an adaptation for the Marvel Comics character Dr. Strange, also known as Earth's Supreme Sorcerer. Somewhere along the way, the rights to the name were lost and the script was re-tooled, which is how they could make it R-rated."

The uniform from "Captain America II: Death Too Soon" now resides in the Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum in Elkhart Indiana (minus the crash helmet).
As a 90's kid I never saw any of those. I moved to Argentina half through 5th grade and never saw or heard all those from then. Man-Thing was a tv movie so I never heard of it without trailers. As for Generation X, while I still never saw it but looked it upped, they should make another cartoon, live-action series (e.g. The Gifted or Legion), or a spinoff movies series to X-Men with the heroes there (Jubilee, M, Skin, Buff, Mondo, and Refrax) getting notice; if the movie happens then more mutant populations would return after Logan.
Wow! These movies are the craziest things I have ever seen! Especially Fantastic four!
WatchMojo is awesome it never fails
I've seen quite a few of those....heck I actually still have the VHS tapes I recorded Generation X and Nick Fury on. Also, it's really not that surprising that Emma Frost & Banshee were in charge...they ran the side school in the comics. the movie also had 2 original team members, Buff and Refrax
I've seen Howard and the FF movies. Liked how they did Doom in the latter. Better than either of his recent incarnations. And for a Roger Corman movie, it's practically Oscar worthy.
I dont care what anyone says, I love Howard the Duck. Yes it is a bad movie but I still love it.

1994 Fantastic Four isn't bad. It's low budget, but not bad. Also, the bootlegged versions you can find on line haven't been through final editing - so the effects, audio, and cuts aren't as polished as a final version would have been.
I had a bootleg copy of Fantastic 4 on VHS back in the day. It's what you had to deal with back then.
Make Punisher however you like, I’ll always love it. It’s just a cool character.
Not to mention those glued on ears for captain America
Well, I knew about some of these. Especially Howard the Duck.
Bust on the script all you want, Dolph Lundgren has been the best Punisher on the big screen yet. (I would've said ever, but I've yet to see the Bernthal version.) I love Howard The Duck. I also enjoy the Nicholas Hammond Spidey and Reb Brown Cap stuff.
Rebecca - But! Then flash to Captains Butt. That was funny Mojo Crew. 👍🏻
I had a Howard the duck movie poster in my room as a kid. I have no regrets
Actually saw Nicholas Hammond’s Spider-Man; it was pretty good, but the producers ignored Stan Lee’s advice regarding it. The Spider-Man TV pilot, and its 2 two parter episodes were retitled theatrically as Spider-Man Strikes Back & Spider-Man: The Dragon’s Challenge. Personally I liked David Hasselhoff’s Nick Fury TV film; Lisa Rinni was perfect as Val Fontaine. Even some of Lou Ferrigno’s Incredible Hulk TV movies were released internationally. Same with the Capt. America TV movies & the 1990 film, where the Red Skull’s... Italian. Regarding Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four, the 2005 film was far better, though the 1994 film looks far more watchable than Trank’s horrendous 2016 film. DC may had a ‘head start’, but they did stumble badly with Superman III & IV, and 1997’s Batman & Robin. Now, Who’s playing catch up?!?😀
Hi WatchMojo! Can you do either top 10 or 20 most rewatchable scenes ever from all time movies? It will be really appreciated! Thanks and have a good day!

You:"Movies you didn't know exist" Also you: "Have you seen any of these?" Please. Some of these are my favorites.
Punisher '89 was a generic 'lone cop on a Mission' action flick, with the Punisher branding grafted on to help it stand out Captain America '90 was low budget cheese... but I kind of liked it... - I could be wrong, but I thought that like Superman IV there was an issue of the Budget being halved in the middle of production, thus resulting in re-writes to get a 'feature length' cut in the hopes of getting some money back on release
i think howard the duck should be given 2nd chance & have a animated spin off series on hulu
Dolph Lundgren Punisher is The Punisher I grew up with it's Awesome and I do have a copy of Roger Corman's Fantastic Four I bought when I was in Iraq. Thing was played by an Ex Dallas's Cowboy.
I thought apart from the changes to the source material the action scenes in The Punisher were great.
I knew about all of these and I have about half of them on dvd/bluray.
I have the Howard the Duck movie on DVD. I think he looks like Macaulay Culkin lol! I have the Generation X movie on VHS because I recorded it when it premiered.
“You have even failed to teach me English.” ~The Red Skull in perfect English.
What about putting the Jon bernthal punisher working alongside with dolphgren jane and stevenson but as sidekicks??
Just as the MCU Hulk movie used sections from the Bixby/Ferrigno TV series, in place of a gamma bomb, and the like, the Sling Ring from the Dr. Strange movies and cameos had it's origin in the original Dr. Strange movie, where he used a magic ring.
I use to love Howard the Duck. I never realized as a kid that he was a Marvel character.
These were mostly really godawful. Thanks for the memories. Great video.

The 1978 US Spidey TV series aired here in the Philippines in 1984 on Monday nights but lost to poor ratings because "Incredible Hulk" (Lou ferrigno) and "Wonder Woman" (Lynda Carter) were aired back-to-back on the rival station.
