Let's not take his explanations seriously, he is the same guy who said SPD never fought anyone impressive.

Saba was one of my favorites too. I thought it was so cool that he was sentient I just wish the show was able to show him talking and interacting with the rangers more. I felt like after his initial debut he just become a silent weapon but maybe I’m remembering wrong

Regarding the Drago Sword: it's actually based on Abarekiller's Wing Pentact which had two modes.. Tact mode, which allowed it to write in the air and create energy constructs.. and Blade mode. so yes! it is a Quill! :D

Dino thunder under played it

Trent's white dragon sword also allowed him to do all sorts of shenanigans, like teleportation, carving explosive "X"s, shooting lightning... But besides it being a reference to him being an artist, it's also a reference to his dragon zord being "bird like" in contrast with the dino zords who were more jurassic park style. Pretty much a intentional irony.

Tommy has had a lot of powerful ranger weapons in his runs as a power ranger. Let's not forget the Bracio Staff could make earthquakes and title waves that he has used to help fight the giant monsters.

They had such a great streak where the special rangers weapon doubled as a melee weapon and as a blaster! Zane’s lance/blaster, Magna defender’s sword/shotgun, Ryan’s axe/gun, then Marek’s baton/gun.

@@jac0736 oh yeah i almost forgot that! There is one other weapon that took out a fully grown monster i think it's the sword that would be the sentinel sword and in one strike nonetheless.

Great list and congrats for the "creators on the rise" recognition. My fav is the dragon dagger followed closely by Saba, not only were they powerful, but like you said they were needed to control their respective zords.

I'd have given the Sword of Darkness a spot or at least an honorable mention. Tommy absolutely *waxed* the other rangers with it by himself although I can understand not wanting to put his entire arsenal on this list.

The Shield of Triumph from Dino Thunder literally has a Megazord, enables the battlizer and required the powers of all five dino gems, so I really think it deserved at least an honorable mention or top 5

I think needing the power of the other two rangers for the majority of it's time in use (yes Conner got to the point where he could activate it on his own towards the end but still) is what knocks it down. These other weapons are literally summoned at will and down take the rangers stamina away

@@jac0736 I don't really think that it's a downgrade that he needed kira and ethan's powers early on to summon its power, I mean he literally becomes a totally new ranger with pretty much the power of the first three rangers, plus seeing that it activates a zord that has a very nice looking and strong abilities and that it can combine with almost all of the auxiliary zords is what makes it special, plus without it, conner never would have activated his battlizer mode

You left out one thing about Saba, he's a funny guy to have when your locked up in Zordon's prison.

Me i few other weapons i love is sword of darkness that Tommy use when he was the evil green ranger and excelsior sword wield by sentinel knight

Yeah, but the problem with the sword of darkness is you get stuck being Rita's servant with it. Plus, most of it's power comes from combining it's power with the dragon dagger. Together, the powers are pretty top tier, but on their own, I don't know that the sword of darkness can compete with the other weapons on this list. But the sword of darkness did always have a really cool design though.

The Green Ranger Sword of Darkness was one of my favorites!

Notice that Tommy Oliver wielded 2 of those, and one of the honorable mentions. And he fought with 2 other ones on the list.

Don't forget Saba also flys for a limited range. He only used that ability once in show and once in th movie but it's still a thing. Basically makes the white ranger a jedi.

Zane's super silverizer should have been on the list in place of RIC.

@@ZeroX7649 not really. A mini fridge isn't a useful function in combat. Zane's super silverizer doesn't require anything else to be useful in battle, and can be used both in melee and ranged combat.

I had the power weapon toys when I was a kid, loved them, and glad the Quasar Sabers made the list probably my favourite ranger weapons especially when imbued with the lights of Orion. Two of my other favourites are Mericks Cue from wildforce and while technically not a ranger weapon Zen-Aku’s Crescent blade

The Dragon Dagger is my personal favorite PR weapon along with the Gold ranger's staff.

Great video. Just found you and subbed instantly! I think the list is pretty great and would be Saba and Golden Staff as my 1 and 2. The only omissions I would probably add are Cam's Green Samurai Saber which was very powerful with both it's sword and bat mode as well as Daggeron's Laser Lamp....it's a lamp, with a genie AND a laser. haha Great content, keep it up. Glad to be a part of the audience now.

This was a great list of the most powerful Power Rangers' weapons and you. Personal favorites. I am glad to see that you like the Quaser Sabers, R.I.C and Saba and made them high ranking weapons. They were three of my favorites. As for some of my other favorite Power Rangers' weapons, I always liked the Chorno Sabers and blasters, The Blade Blasters, The Shadow Saber and the shield from Dino Fury.

I watched one of your videos, then you spiked in popularity. Lucky you.

Again AMAZING JOB! with this channel, I knew it would be one of if not the BEST when it comes to "Ranger Lore". My next suggestion for a video is a "video games" as im not sure if I've missed that one or not🤔 but I was going through some of my "GBA EMULATOR" game's and stumbled upon some of the Old power Rangers games I have from the early 00's, played a couple, & got that feeling of super Nostalgia! And thought it would make a great list to see your favorite as well as other's?!

For the most part I agree besides with #1. The shadow saber was my hope for #1 but it is a personal favorite list and of course, we have varying tastes. I would love to see a top 10 villain weapons list because Zenakus Crescent blade and Psycho Reds saber were always bad ass to me. Of course Hellfried would be #1 in regards to personal favorite. Overall I agree though.

I’m not a guy who subscribes to people because I go through waves of what I like, but I’m subscribed. What I would like instead of doing a synopsis of comics, you should do a reading of them.

Tommy is my favorite ranger, so the dragon dagger and Saba will always hold special places in my nostalgia. But my personal favorite weapon is the Quantum Defender. It's easy to carry around, and it has long range and close range combat ability. And it seems to fire pretty quickly based on how it was used in the show. That would be my personal weapon of choice.

The top 2 are my top 2 favorites, nice!

I am honestly not so sure if it counts, since it is less a weapon of the green Ranger, and more a weapon bestowed to him by Rita to deepen the mind control, that technically EVERYONE could have used. But if it counts than YES, it should have been on here =D

Dino Thunder seemed to have taken inspiration from the original white ranger's weapon, Saba. The neck of Trent Mercer's drago sword has the head of the dragozord just like how Tommy's white ranger sword has that of the tigerzord

Ohhh the Saba Sabre was the ish!! That was one of the last toys I got as a kid when I was like 11. That and the Dragon Dagger (my personal favorite). Man my dad really loved me to go out of his way while working 70 hours a week to support us (my mom, my sis and me) growing up. I was a spoiled brat as a kid but in hindsight I truly appreciate how much my dad did for me. I’m glad I still have him, unlike my mom but he will get to rest finally pretty soon and join her. When I was growing up in the 90’s; I always wondered how people had their grandparents as (young) adults even. By the time I was born in ‘85, my mom’s father had passed away 7 years earlier at age 58. My dad’s father had passed away a few years before I was born at age 60. I had both grandmothers although my mom’s mom I disliked thoroughly (what a mean Danish woman!). She died by the time I was 10, and my last grandparent died when I had just graduated high school in ‘03. So with that said how do people that are my age (36) have any grandparents left? I only have my dad left as far as family goes and I’m not even that old. Is the idea of having family into your adulthood another lie they taught us growing up like how “without knowing cursive, we were doomed in the future” or “get your bachelors degree and your set for life/trade schools are useless”. The school system sure did a number on our generation with their lies of what would always one successful and how life was “supposed” to turn out lol…

No, not even close.

I had a gold zeo staff when I was little however in my country the power rangers series was going slower due to translation. So if I remember correctly I had the toy before the zeo series and I thought it was the weapon of black ranger for the first season. Once the zeo season started in my country and and the gold ranger appeared, I had the biggest mind blowing moment of my childhood.

Just wanted to say you had a spelling error on number 7. You wrote: Quntum defender. Correct spelling is Quantum Defender. But keep up the good work man 👍🏻

This was actually a cool idea for a list. A few pics that I wouldn't have chosen and I think picking groups of weapons was a bit cheaty but beyond that I enjoyed it. Personally, I think the power axe should have been on this list by itself, it's an axe that's also a blaster... The thing was made for Zombie killing before zombies were Popular, lol.

There are definitely many weapons that I think should be on this list but I can't remember them but as you mention shadow saber I think that should definitely be on this list

I also had the Saba toy when I was a kid. Parents got it for me from a garage sale.

This list makes sense. Although I am a green Ranger MMPR stan I can't deny that Saba would be the number 1

My dad let me choose between the Dragonzord and the weapon set, and I chose the weapon set. Sometimes I regretted it but those weapons made a surprising impact on my life. The Black Ranger's axe in particular. Toys were such high quality back then...

I would have replaced the Snow Staff with the Shadow Saber, but that's just me I usually favor the more sci-fi seasons over the magic ones, but still it's a great list that makes me look forward to more of this channels. My favorite Power Rangers weapons gotta be the Quantum Defender; as it's a handgun that turns into a sword and it's from my third favorite season.

Tommy's Sword of Darkness would have been interesting on this list.

I think a few of these kinda were redundant, but if we’re talking about versatility then look further than the thunder staff from Power Ranger Ninja storm. The weapon can be used as a sword for close range battle. It can be a staff for mid range, it can be a boomerang for long range fights. And it can become a shield and reflector for projectiles. I don’t know why it wasn’t picked for any of these

I say I really like all power rangers weapons, I always say there so much to choose from and every weapon in power rangers are awesome, amazing, and super useful WOW.

you can also make vs videos of memorable rangers and monsters like comparing there abilities , skills , weapons and their feats and you can also make videos on certain rangers and monsters explaining how strong they are and their powers as well including zords 😎😎🤘🤘

I love the power blaster in particular, but also saba and the dragon dagger

My Legacy Dragon Flute is the pride of my collection I absolutely love it. I had Saba when I was a kid, I took it to show and tell and everyone loved it. I don't know what happened to him though 😕

I think the shielf of triumph, brachiostaff, and the sentinel sword should atleast be honorable mentions. That being said, i love the content and the list.

The SPD Omega and Nova Ranger's morphers or the Dekabright & Deka break wrist throttle. They are very convenient as they don't need any weapons anymore. They can use it to morph and to attack, and judgement scans.

My favorite one from what I remember is still the golden power staff.

The Dragon Dagger is a dagger that is also a flute played through a helmet and sounding like a trumpet.

My favorites are usually 6th ranger weapons like Dragon Dagger, Barracuda Blade and Magna Blaster. To me the Magna Blaster seem to fire like a rifle to me

I do love Saba and I'm glad he would take the #1, but I'll have a sweet spot for the Spiral Sword for no other reason than I think it looks cool.

I really like the Black Mastodon Rangers Power Axe myself. It looks cool and it also functions as a laser cannon.

Oh man. I was such a huge fan... my dad used to buy us the common toys, digimon, legos, powerangers & transformers. I had the white rangers lion sword, lost galaxy sword and the white rangers feather dagger from dinosaurs force... unfortunately dont have any of them anymore. My brothers had their own sets and wed go at it with them. Most of them didnt make it :/
