In this video (which is 6 years old but it's still you who made it) you talked about the possible eeveelutions in a manner as if it was all but guaranteed that they'd eventually become official. But I'm offering a different take: All the eeveelutions we have so far (except for the normal base type and the fairy type that didn't exist back then) are of types that would've been considered special attackers from gens 1-3. That can hardly be a coincidence. Therefore, I think any further eeveelutions would follow that pattern, which only leaves a dragon eeveelution as a possible type, if anything. HOWEVER. I don't think all hope is lost. Because there could be a new Pokemon as a direct counterpart to eevee. A new pokemon starting from a special type with the ability to evolve into any physical type. What could the base type be? Well, I said that the only remaining dragon eeveelution could be dragon. But they've had so much time to think of one and still didn't make one. So I rescind my statement about a dragon eeveelution. Instead, I propose a dragon base form for this new pokemon. Dragons are mythical creatures with a myriad of different abilities, so it only makes sense that a dragon pokemon of all pokemon could evolve into any physical type. Namely, fighting, flying, ground, rock, bug, ghost, poison and steel. We could even group them according to the typical groupings of the eeveelutions: -flying, ground and rock to fire, water and electric as fundamental parts making up the world -fighting and ghost to psychic and dark as the four of them have an intimate relation in type matchups -poison and steel to grass and ice as further elements of nature, byproducts of the previous -bug to fairy as living tiny creatures and strongest to weakest type That seems feasible, doesn't it? And even if gamefreak does not decide to do this (which would be a huge wasted opportunity), I would love for you to give it some thought, since your pokemon fanart is so far among my favourite pokemon art on youtube. You just always seem to hit the nail on the head with your designs.

*Flying type could actually fit as a newly discovered type of Eevee* Here's how it could be discovered: An Eevee is traveling with it's trainer and they were happily traveling along until..."oh no they are lost" they kept moving because night is upon them until they reach a cliff, they move closer to the edge to see where they are and then the part they were on broke off and it fell along with them. The Eevee's desire to save it's trainer from falling to death helps make it evolve into a flying type and he pulls on his trainer to save him. They still crashed but they survived. Injured but still alive they make it out of the forest and into the city to get some treatment and in the city people notice a strange new pokemon that resembles an Eevee and it is! And now that this type of Eevee was discovered a new way to evolve it emerged not involving falling to death this time and this Eevee immediately becomes a trend not only because it's a new type but because it's wings and fur are as soft as clouds.

As far as bug type goes most of the versions I actually like are based on fluffier bugs like moths or bees. I love Hunneon as a name for a bug type.

Ghost Eevee. An eevee who loves it's trainer so much that even after death it still comes back to it's trainer to fight by their side. Evolved by having high or max affection and faints while holding Reaper's Cloth. Seems like a good idea to me.

I'd say yes to reapers cloth, but I think it should be leveled up with max affection in one of the buildings in the games that ghost-types frequent. like the pokemon tower in lavender, or the old mansion in sinnoh where u find rotom, or places like that.

Meiux RC I like the idea of it holding a reaper's cloth but for it to faint or die on purpose just to evolve is way too edgy. Just holding an item and having max friendship is good enough. Although that's just my opinion.

Ghost types aren’t always related to death, they’re also related to “other worldlyness” in a literal sense as well as figurative. It would make sense for an Eevee leveled up in the distortion zone or ultra space to evolve to adapt to that strange environment.

An idea a friend of mine has on how a ghost eevee works is that instead of dying, eevee can volatilize it's body in a manner similar to ghosts. Then it can reform itself whenever it wishes. (Volatilize meaning basically vaporizing itself to become mist-like similar to fantasy vampires.)

“And drop your eevee from the sky” The eevee before you drop it: Mom, where are we going?

A cool way to do the ghost type eevee would be to give it a focus sash (or some other way to keep it alive from a killing blow) and have it survive a move such as guillotine, fissure, or sheer cold with it. Then take out the pokemon that used the move on you with the eevee, and level up with the exp it gives you. This could show it living when it should have died, and evolve it into a ghost type.

we NEED a poison and ground type eeveelution. Not only would they contrast each other as a pair, but they would also buddy up with sylveon and jolteon quite nicely

I'm actually most exited about the ghost eeveelution too, but for different reasons. The ghost eeveelution could be a shadow-themed evolution, and shadow is really the only fantasy element not already addressed by eevee. It could be the counterpart of sylveon, which is light themed, and would be a really cool Pokémon.

I would say for a ghost type eevee-lution, abandonment would be the best trigger for it.

Speaking of Eeveelutions, Sylveon is my favorite fairy type, and its aesthetic way better than “cake with legs”.

I've drawn a ghost one, I haven't put it on the internet yet, but it's name is Omineon. A mix of the eon at the end of all eeveelution names, and Ominous. It backstory is the spirits of it's dead parents guide it through life, when it hits max friendship it evolves. It uses the souls of the dead to fight, and it is kind and will help anyone through tough times, or if in need. The souls of the dead not only guide it, but are willing to help it out. It hates vile attitude, and will violently lash at anyone who is vile around it. The shadows it lashes at people bring bad luck, and the attacked person will most likely die of horrible things. It will treat kindhearted people with kind acts, and will protect them with all it's might. If game freak hears of this, I will gladly send them everything about it.

It is once said that ghost type eeveeolution’s are caused by the legendary item the Pokémon professors once banned from all regions, it is called **the gun**

I think a dragon type eeveelution would be best suited to be designed after an eastern dragon. Just slightly longer and shorter than the other eeveelutions with gyarados’ whisker things, some neck, spine, and tail fur that contrasts the main coat color, and with the deer/kirin-like antlers

I expect a ghost type eevee to be a varient that should look like a gray version of flareon with the fur replaced by blue soul fire. It shall be named: Wispeon

Personally my head cannon for a bug type eeveelution is based on velvet ants/wingless wasps. A female eevee who learns the bug type bug bite or something similar after reaching a certain level evolves into “Waspeon” which is red like a velvet ant as regular and for a shiny it will have the color of a panda ant, which is also a type of wingless wasp

I actually had my own take on a Normal-type eeveelution; *Enveon, the Heartbreak Pokemon.* It's name comes from the word Envy, and along with it's moniker of "Heartbreak Pokemon" signifies how it becomes resentful of other people's happiness, having lost that for itself. That's because it would evolve by being traded at max friendship, as the Eevee's sense of betrayal at being abandoned by someone it thought truly cared about it causes it to transform out of sheer grief. Enveon's design would emphasise beauty and elegance, but with an air of aloofness, as Enveon has become a solitary and distrusting pokemon, but also gained a heartless, manipulative personality. It's a cruel and cynical Pokemon that uses and discards others the same way that it sees itself as having been used and discarded. Only a truly compassionate and understanding trainer could hope to mend Enveon's broken heart and make it a fully supportive partner. However, for those willing to try, Enveon would be a defensive powerhouse (owing to its resolve to never be hurt again) with a wide array of status moves and battlefield tricks at its disposal. It's abilities would be Cute Charm and Infiltrator, to represent its willingness to use guile to take advantage of its opponent. However, for its hidden ability, it would get a new ability called "Shadow Verge", which would cause critical hits to deal super-effective damage, regardless of type. This is an allusion to the concept of Shadow Pokemon from the spinoff games, which are said to arise when the door to a Pokemon's heart is closed. Shadow moves are always super-effective against non-Shadow Pokemon, so this ability's effect making moves be treated as super-effective is used to show that Enveon is on the _verge_ of closing off its heart completely and becoming a Shadow Pokemon itself.

i think a cool design for the fighting type could be something like, you know how glaceon has the dangly things? well i think they should keep that and make them fists with boxing gloves and it can stay on all fours which makes it look more natural and just overall would look better

It would be cool if they add new eeveelution in gen 9 and cuz it’s located in Spain( I think but I don’t really remember)then it could be a fighting type Lucheon and it would like have some lucha libre vibes etc. + I think a flying type eeveelution would look cool if its ears were his wings,like Dratini’s or Dragonair’s + They could make a double type eeveelutions like ground+ rock or dragon+flying or steel+rock or ghost+toxic

I always imagined making a ghost type eevee by it fainting at full friendship, as in taking a nuzlocke turn and dying but coming back cuz it loves you. Or it could be like umber on and Espeon, but at sun set or rise, as it dies from the stress of being forced into two different evolutions, torn apart. But then it comes back as a ghost.

I actually came up with my own Flying type Eeveelution. I turned Eevee's fluffy fur collar into a cloud. Anyone would probably do that, but I took that idea to the next level and turned the fur collar into a Storm cloud. The tip of the ears, tail, and the paws, I turned white to represent regular clouds, and the rest I did light blue to represent the sky.

there should be a whole Pokemon game based on Eevees! :D

I am wanting a Ghost type the most. Ghost is my favorite type. I also really like Dragon as well because thats like my 4th Favorite type after the neck and neck race of Dark and Psychic types. Which we already have those which Umbreon is my most favorite of the ones we have. I would like a fighting one because that's my 5th favorite typing. I would love to see all the types be included.

Yeah. It's oreo. You'd need max friendship and be in a pastry shop for it to evolve.

That's the logic of the Salem witch trials. Ghost eevee should be named Wraitheon, Specteon, or Phanteon after Wraith, Specter, and Phantom respectively. It's evolution could be based around leveling up with max friendship and having a ghost type pokemon in your party.

Astral Soul I like that idea, leveling up in a haunted house. She'd evolve because Ghost-type is super effective against ghosts. I mean the adapting to survive theme was tarnished with Sylveon.

I have had an idea that, because you die of fear from looking at a mimicyu without its costume, what if scientists forced a ton of Eevees to look at one, and one out of a hundred or something survived, and used the sheer horror of what they saw to mutate them into a ghost type eeveelution, made out of spiraling purple rags. It would somewhat resemble an Espeon, as that is something Eevees are used to evolving into, and it's DNA would naturally try to stick to what is natural, but between the purple rags is nothing but an inky black most, leaking between the folds of the cloths. Instead of a forked tail, the rags would unravel into several stray strips of fabric, dyed with the black mist to resemble the claw that can be seen coming out of mimicyus costume. Instead of regular eyes, two hollow holes with either nothing but mist pouring out of them, or small, ever shaking pupils, not attached to anything, constantly trying to forget the horrifying image engraved into their mind. Its mouth a crooked tear in the cloth, somewhat concealed when closed, but can open more than any living creature should. It would evolve by having low friendship and leveling up with a mimicyu in the party.

If Niantic, or Game Freak, or even Nintendo doesn't talks about another Eeveelution, I will not trust nothing...

I remember watching this video, like once a week as a kid.

My Top 10: 10: Fighting (Don't like the Type much) 9: Bug (A insect-likel Eevee has a chance to look cool if they don't screw it up) 8: Steel (A metal Eevee has a chance to look cool if they don't screw it up) 7: Normal (Such elegance but not the best typing) 6: Ghost (It looks cool, what else is there to say?) 5: Ground (I love the sphynx idea) 4: Rock (I love the diamond idea) 3: Dragon (It'll look like a perfect cute/cool combination) 2: Poison (Making it so every Eeveelution is weak and strong to at least one other, plus, Poison gas around the neck sounds epic) 1: Flying (Such majesty)

I think it could evolve into the ghost type by leveling up to its max level in a bsttle and then dying in that same battle. When you leave the battle it evolves intot he ghost type

For Ghost Eevee, simply have Eevee faint 5 times with the reapers cloth equipped. For Bug Eevee, simply have 5 insect pokemon in your team and gain 10 levels or 5 if past level 15. For Fighting Eevee, Gain 10 levels or 5 if past level 15 with only that Eevee in your team. For Dragon Eevee, Gain 15 levels or 10 if past level 20 in a Dragon Pokemon Only Zone. For Poison Eevee, Gain 10 levels or 5 if past level 15 with the Toxic Orb equipped. For ??? Eevee, Leave Eevee with Missingno at the daycare until Eevee reaches Lv 100.

Actually they have taken a lot of inspiration from butterfly and moths in bug-types like Beautifly, Dustox and Butterfree. So I want Bug-Type Eevee to be inspired from some other bug.

If I was a trainer I would be a ghost type trainer so I really Respect the fact that you saved it for the end

I have two ideas for your insect type if male eevee it will evolve into a Dragonfly but if female it will evolve into a Butterfly one.

I say, just have an eeveelotion for every type!
