I think a great fairy/ground would be a convergent nosepass & Probopass: gnomepass and Kobolpass. They could even keep the compass flavor by helping guide lost travellers through caves.

@@DJCheese77 yeah, but so are knights, dragons, and fairies. Two are whole types and the other have numerous Pokémon based on them.

Really enjoy this redesign of Oxinerate! It kind of blends the modern idea that starters look a bit more humanoid with the want for more of an anamalistic approach to the designs like pre gen 6.

The bug/normal types always feel fairly uninspired in these sorts of videos, which I get, but I think a cockroach fits perfectly. Its signature ability, based on the cockroach's apocryphal ability to survive nearly anything, makes it immune to all damage not from attacks, such as poison, hail, spikes, etc.

I got a random typing of Ice and Poison when thinking up a fakemon recently, and one way of making it work that came to me was making it a prehistoric Pokemon that got frozen in ice, and now that it's thawing out it contains things that are very toxic to the modern world. And these were great designs! I especially like the Oxinerate reworking, I feel like it has a lot of energy to it now. 😁

I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a rock/ghost type that’s like. A failed fossil- so like the spirit and infinity energy came back, but not the Pokémon- resulting in a ghost bound to its fossil, walking the earth in search of the rest of its body

an idea: a 'mimic octopus' that has different forms copying various water pokemon. one hides in shells to look like shellder/cloyster, one that holds shiny things on its head and makes itself look like tentacool, and one that looks like seaking and dragalgae, etc. hit a good range of things for it to mimic, you know?

I had an idea for Ground/Fairy An Alux, which is a type of gnome or leprechaun from the Mayan culture. They usually manifest as clay figurines and roam around terrains either making mischief or guarding your crops (depending if you leave them offerings or food) 😁

Love the Oxinerate redesign! It definitely would have been my pick for an Asone journey so seeing it get a slight beef-up is awesome!

I always imagined an Ice/Poison type based on permafrost and the horribly toxic bacterias found under it (and thus released when the permafrost melts). Maybe with some “poisons everyone on the field when it faints” ability.

the oxinerate redesign looks amazing!!! i didnt realize until now just how long ago the asone series was 😳😳

I imagine halucerate would be a 2% dive encounter of something. (Maybe a super rod encounter)

I came up with my own Bug/Normal type once, it was a wasp pupa that can evolve either into a Bug/Fighting non-hostile wasp, or a Bug/Dark violent Hornet. And I had an idea for a Fire/Fairy based on the mythical fire salamander I called Salafae, with an evolved form called Salestial, a mix of Salamander and Celestial.

I've always felt like there should be a quail pokemon (ground normal) that evolves into a turkey like pokemon for male (ground/ fighting) and a peacock looking one for female (ground / fairy)

Big fan of Halucerate and Echanterrain! I love both of their concepts, but I really think the idea of Echanterrain being the opposite of Garchomp is awesome!

Gypsumunk would SO be the Fakemon that would almost be an equivalent to a rock tumblr machine! They could stuff uncut gemstones in their mouths, which would in turn become cut and polished gemstones, thanks to the combined work of their teeth and saliva! And if this Fakemon was an official Pokémon, I think they would be handy for jewel smiths, for creating beautiful pieces of jewelry, like rings, pendants, necklaces and hair accessories, even pieces commissioned for royalty! That's the first thought that popped into my mind after Ron read his description of the Fakemon! ^^

Tera doesn't mess up the type comboes, before scarlet and violet were released people thought we were getting teras as a new type to replace one of the types a pokemon had, but in reality it just turns your pokemon into a different type temporarily.

Another thing to point out from Hallucerate's Pokedex is... It cannot move backwards, it can only move forward, until all it's enemies are destroyed.

I'm just gonna say that I totally forgot shedinja was even a thing and was wondering where bug ghost was. Also, best ghost bug fakemon design, in my opinion, goes to Scarecroach from Pokemon Empire.

Real animals for inspiration! Steel normal: Those deep sea snails that use metal in their shells Normal rock: take your pick! Parrots eat clay, dung Beatles roll ...well not rock but it biodegades into soil and then into rock sooo, maybe the concept of the primordial ooze? Normal ice: shrimp, that frog that can freeze in the winter and survive Bug normal: all of the bugs...any bug. Dragon bug: prey mantis? Some other batsien mimicry bug? Oh! What about those butterflies that look like snakes!?

With the introduction of Goaleo in this video, I could see an entire Pokémon World Cup match with Goaleo, Cinderace, and probably Hitmonlee.

A WYRM WOULD BE STUCK A FUN IDEA FOR A BUG DRAGON TYPE

id love to see a whole pokedex-like video of all your fakemon, from all the way back to when youd make fakemon based on things youd see during walks to present day where you have combined legendaries and memes as pokemon, i think it would be awesome to see it all in one video!

There was a fire/fairy type pokemon I made for a region I did awhile back based on China, the Yangzi region of pokemon yin and yang. It was a regional variant of the litwick line based on Chinese lanterns. Yangzian chandelure is said to be used by emperors in the yangzi region any palace that has this pokemon outside their palace will be prosperous. I also made a pangoro regional variant (grass/fighting).

Halucerate is such a pretty and intimating Fakemon ❤️💙

I think FroopyArt's Dragaux and Draneura fit the Dragon/Bug dual-type better. And HoopsandHipHop's Mortosaur does the same for Rock/Ghost.

I love that Trugreen is flexible but he also has big stickler vibes 😂

Whenever I'm in the mood to do extreme randomizer nuzlockes, I NEVER use anything that's a ghost/rock type. They just have too many weaknesses!

Geheheh, as a brazilian watching this video i have to say i love the design for the pink boto fakemon, perfect vibe, but also that calling it the "Encantado" myth is a bit wrong and also absolutely hilarious, the proper name for him is the "Boto cor-de-rosa", or Pink-colored boto, and the enchanted bit is just an adjective, calling him the "encantado" from brazilian culture is similar to if mothman got described as "the creepy moth guy" and we called him "the creepy" from american culture. Understandable but very funny rsrskjgk

Ooo! My fake.on region also has a bipedal fire/fairy cow as the fire starter. Mine's based on a type of troll named Hulder, which are known to have "cow butts"

I remember back in middle school creating a fakemon with the fire fairy typing as they were my favorite types at the time(it wasn't a great fakemon because it was heavily based off of Sylveon). When I did the research later on to try and redesign it, I was surprised that the fire fairy type combo wasn't used yet. Thinking on it now, I think a firefly/firefly inspired pokemon would work great with that combo.

Ectoskeleton (Ectoplasm and Exoskeleton) was the Ghost Dark type fakemon I've made a concept for a while ago. was basically a dinosaur skeleton surrounding an ectoplasmic body. xD

Here's an interesting concept to try in the future; It'd be you and three other artists and basically, you'd create new Paradox Pokémon but only by the name given; everyone would have one name and the other three would draw what Paradox Pokémon it could be, kinda like a "fun competition. For an example, lets say one name is "Legendary Gills" and one artist draws something like a Paradox Magikarp, another draws a Paradox Relicanth and another draws a Paradox Milotic. The correct answer would be Magikarp and that person would get a point or something. And to split it up, maybe two past and two future?
