Having a secondary type is pretty normal

Incineroar is a Dark Type because it’s based off a Heel Wrestler, a wrestler that fights with cheap, dirty tactics. Cheap dirty tactics are a key trait to Dark Type Pokémon.

How's this for Drapion's new ability: Swarming Might. It gets STAB for Bug type moves.

Let me explain Inceneroar. He is a heel professional wrestler. The reason he is not fighting and is instead dark is because the fights in professional wrestling are scripted. Incineroar isn’t a real fighter. He is a fake fighter who plays the role of the fighter you are supposed to boo at. Thus he is dark type not fighting type.

Incineroar actually makes sense being a Fire/Dark type because it is supposed to be a heel wrestler, an 'evil' type of wrestler who attacks below the belt, cheats and is essentially the villain in the storylines to the 'face' wrestlers. The other reason is as a reference to the extremely popular manga in japan, Tiger mask that has inspired actual Japanese wrestlers.

Magnezone line needs levitate/flying type. YOU CAN NOT TELL ME THAT THAT THING IS ON THE GROUND

k1Dd0 Unfortunately giving a steel-electric type would be the most overpowered typing in the game. Magnezone line has 13 resistances, yet it will die to literally any ground type move, due to its 4x ground weakness. If it had levitate, it would have 13 resistances, 2 immunities (ground and poison), and only 2 weaknesses.

Oh and by the way, Lucario could very well be Fighting/Steel/Psychic since it has psychic abilities. Overall, I found Lucario's typing kind of weird but at the same time, it's rather unique and in a weird way gives this Pokemon many advantages, especially after introduction of a Fairy type.

The Incineroar bit pains me so much because that's EXACTLY how it went down

well, they did changed types when new types arrived as seen in the examples above or in magnamite that back in gen 1 was an eletric type and gained a steel type, so yes, they already changed type. Now if u wanted to say that they never changed a duo-type pokemon's type, well I guess that's true but if they can add a type I don't think they would have some problem in changing one type (since they changed clefairy's type and didn't simply added it's fairy type)

Damn, imagine how cool it would be if Litten's final evolution actually looks like a sabretooth tiger and not just another bipedal pokemon. Seriously, Litten and Torracat walk with FOUR legs. Why the hell does their evolution become bipedal? Chimchar, Monferno, and Torchic walk on two legs. It makes sense why their final evolutions be bipedal as well. Why the hell must Litten's be bipedal as well? Imagine if Turtwig's evolution were bipedal. I hate it so much. Litten's final evolution could've been so cool.

I do agree. _Mainly because Tyranitar is my favorite Pokemon and Dragon is my favorite type_ But... Many of the fans would argue, because Tyranitar is based on Godzilla; King of Kaiju; and Godzilla is not a dragon, but a mean dinosaur. Then I went "...so~...Tyrunt and Tyrantrum can be Dragon-type, and Tyranitar can't, despite both being based on/very similar to dinosaurs?" Also, Rock-Dragon Tyranitar would be as equally dangerous, if not more, as Rock-Dark Tyranitar. It may be a bit worse offensively, but is a bit better defensively, not having a x4 weakness. It... does loss an immunity and a resistance, but with how Fighting types were used to temper "the King of OU", it does seem fair

I never saw Delphox as a mistake. I actually prefer it in x and y. The fire and psychic typing is fun to use

Add a held item that when held by certain pokemon when the level up changes their models colors and/or pose and changes it's type to another one of it's three possible types. Have it's special ability be determined by what types it had when found in the wild.

Some Pokémon I think could have 3 types Tropius - Grass/Flying/Dragon. It’s based off a dinosaur which are loosely related to dragons. Mega Altaria - Keep all the types it had as an Altaria and make it Dragon/Flying/Fairy. Armaldo - Rock/Bug/Water. Dex entries for Armaldo and Anorith state that it once lived in the water. Plus it’s design reminds me of a shrimp. Goodra - Dragon/Poison/Water. Its a slime dragon. Plus it learns moves like Sludge Bomb and Muddy Water. Solgaleo - Fire/Steel/Psychic. Come on Game Freak. It’s the Sun pokemon for crying out loud. Ho-Oh - Fire/Flying/Psychic. This one’s a bit iffy. If it can revive 3 Pokemon into legendary beasts, then it deserves something like the Psychic type, in my opinion.

To add more to Anorith/Armaldo they don't just look like shrimp, they are shrimp. Giant ancient shrimp that I think got as big as 3 feet.

Always seen Armaldo as a bug with steel armor and its kinda in the name of it so more steel than water

Goodra: poison dragon bug because its a slug and can be poisonous

Decidueye should also be a grass ghost and flying type tho

I think the reason why incenaroar is not a fighting type is that it's a heel wrestler, and their usually the bad guys and cheat, and the fighting type is supposed to represent honor... And im getting nowhere

That's what I'm saying. And it's even based on a fictional (I think he's fictional) wrestler called the Black Tiger, who used dirty tactics to win. Yeah, I would have liked to see a quadruped sabertooth more but I still appreciate Incineroar's origin and still like it's design

@@JSB-2Z-2K But Lugia looks like a dragon as well. Flygon doesn't look like a dragon but it is Dragon type. Lugia should be Dragon cuz it looks like a dragon, Water cuz it is the Diving Pokemon and Flying cuz it can fly.

Definitely agree on the Lugia one, I always thought that was weird

You forgot, Yanmega should definitely be a dragon!! Design wise and because it’s a dragonfly. Move pool wise it’s lacking dragon, though.

Incineroar makes sense to be dark because it’s a fake fighter meaning real fighters would be able to defeat it, kinda like Scrafty and Pangoro

What about flying press, the double typed move.

Lunala can be a Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy typing thanks to it’s association with the moon. It learns the move Moonblast naturally, and can be taught Moonlight and Dazzling Gleam. Many fairy type pokemon get their strength from moon’s light. The Clefable line being the most prominent one. Similar story with Solgaleo with it being also part Fire type and learning Fire type moves.

There are 2 other pokemon besides cradily (That I know of) Than can be 4 types. Flygon as a Dragon, ground, bug and flying type and vikavolt as a Steel, bug, electric and flying type.

MagneZone has a X4 weakness to ground even though its f**king flying above the ground That has always bugged me...

When you mess up with the earth's magnetic field, you will mess with magnezone's levitation. But Magnezone can learn the move magnet rise that will make it immune to ground moves

Stunfisk should be Ground / Electric / Water, I mean, it's a freaking fish and lives in the water.

I think it could be cool to have a 3rd typing that doesn't affect their current weaknesses or strengths. Maybe they just get STAB from using those moves. Gyarados gets a dragon typing so he gets STAB from dragon pulse.

It has always been confusing that there's the rock type AND the ground type. Those two types are too similar to be different.

If Flygon had three types, I think it would be Ground Dragon Flying. It doesn't seem like a bug anymore once it evolves. Plus, it has Fly in its name as well as huge wings and sand storms. Sure, Flygon has Levitate but with that logic, every flying Pokemon could have levitate instead of flying type.
