A full decade later, and I'm still salty over Tracy being unceremoniously killed off, all so that Ted can get back together with Robin. I except the alternative ending to be my own personal headcanon, since it's more satisfactory.

With Glee I think the biggest one was Quinn being temporarily on wheelchair... it doesn't change anything, she is just positive and going through rehabilitation, soon she walks again, no one cares

There’s one from Once Upon a Time that, as much I love Regina’s redemption arc, makes it hard for me to feel it’s completely earned

You mentioned Peter Davidson being Georgia's father but you didn't say anything about her marrying David Tennant?

1) The actress playing Libby was fired from "Lost" because she was caught drunk driving. Her departure had nothing to do with a writer's strike. 2) Homelessness is "pretty heavy" for "Glee?" That sentence was clearly written by someone who didn't watch "Glee." LOL They dealt with everything from death, to teenage pregnancy, to homophobia, to the topic of "unaliving" oneself. There was a freakin' school sho*ting episode! (Although, it turned out that someone was messing around with a gun and it accidentally went off, but it was still one of the most disturbing TV episodes that I've seen in a long time. Watching the kids hiding in the classrooms thinking that they were going to die was awful.)

The point they're making though is they changed/adaptatied just about every other villains story they used in Gotham to make them fit the show- even if it typically doesn't make sense for them to gain their villain identity before Bruce becomes Batman - so they're saying why introduce Harvey Dent just to insist he can't became Two-Face till Bruce is Batman when they changed so many other villain origins? In Gotham we knew Jokers real name.

Don’t even get me started on the doctor’s daughter - still pisses me off now, 16 years later

They better find a way to bring The Doctor’s daughter back in the Ncuti Gatwa era of Doctor Who, or the upcoming eras. Because seriously, what’s the point of an interesting and fun character if you’re not gonna bring her back again?

Ngl, I expected it to be somewhere on this list.

Jon Snow being a Targaryen. It had no impact on the story whatsoever. It was only used as a plot device to turn Dany into the Mad Queen. Which was also done very poorly. But Jon Bein a Targaryen was a huge revelation in the season 6 finale and anticipated by fans for years... And then absolutely nothing happened.

I was so in love with How I met your mother and then that last season happened and I lost all of my respect for the show

Mine is Mr. Turner's bike accident in Boy Meets World. Nothing happened after that. Show even jokes about it at one point.

Thought Cynthia Watros got fired bc she got a DUI. That's why no Libby backstory. That's just my memory.

Having Toby be on the A-team for ”good” reasons was the worst cop out ever. The writers were too afraid of the backlash of not having all main couples end up together.

With the Brooklyn 99 honorable mention that plot twist is actually sort of indirectly explained. Boyle gives up on his food truck after the fire because he realizes that it is too stressful for him. If you have seen the show then you will know that Boyle kind of shuts down in stressful situations. There is also the possibility that off screen he learned that it would be too expensive to start over and at that point he did have quite a lot of debt from his first attempt that still needed to be paid off. Besides we all know Boyle would be better in his own restaurant!!!!

Big Finish have done a few audio dramas with Jenny, the Doctor's Daughter. Probably the reason she was brought back to life. RTD probably wanted another Spin-off but it never happened on screen.

What about true blood ending of who sookie end up with wtf.

Call a duck a duck! Sam was homeless, and as someone who has been homeless, using pc bs terms is so much more insulting than just saying homeless.

In the IT Crowd when Jen and Moss sleep together (and Roy sleeps with the therapist lady that reminds him of his mother)... This happens in the season finale and then is NEVER brought up again? I have questions.

Actually, Jenny got her own Big Finish Spin-Off Audio series and met her various dads in a comic book. She just hasn't been seen on television.

I disagree with the glee ones. Not to say my first thought was Emma was gonna run from the altar but it was clear the wedding wasn’t gonna work out. Will gave her hell through it all. First he wants it ASAP to make sure the glee kids come, then he leaves her to plan the entire wedding herself. On top of this, she’s constantly helping Finn with running the club. All while being early in her therapy for OCD. The wedding didn’t even seem good tor her (something small and intimate would’ve been more her speed). Her freak out wasn’t too hard to see coming. Idk if I’d call it a plot twist. Plus most of their relationship was explored in the first 3 seasons and they’re a side relationship in comparison to the kids’ relationships. There isn’t much more that could be done with theirs. Sam becoming homeless sets up more of his character that we didn’t know yet such as selflessness, being a good leader, his deep-rooted insecurities about himself & his intelligence (or lack thereof) to where he has to be reminded of all he’s done which includes him taking care of his siblings while homeless. It’s basically why he gets Finn’s role in S5 + 6.

The thing Cynthia Watros got too busy with after the writer strike was a DUI. Libby and Anna were written off because the actors were partying too much and it was impacting their work.

I absolutely hated that therapist killing Freddie off at least cook gets revenge on him .but having recently watched . skins after not seen it for many years I was disappointed with season five and season six obviously but it was nice seeing some of the characters back for the final series but Series 1 to4 are the best

At least Jenny had her audio drama.

Still wished they did more with Jenny in DW because I liked her. Found the Timeless Child plot twist to be way worse.

Yeah, no, sorry, but anyone who thought Dent was gonna become Two-Face in Gotham is just stupid. Sure they made a lot of the villains become their villain counterparts in that show early, but the people behind the show are 100% right; Harvey's story as Two-Face is specifically connected to a world where Batman is already an active/known vigilante. The most they could've really done is allude to it with foreshadowing some signs of D.I.D/the coin obsession thing. But anyone that's a Batman fan expecting more than that is just dumb. S:

The whole Oliver story line in The OC ruined the show for me and went nowhere.

Spoiler! The Plot Twist from South Park. I feel like everybody forgot about that episode/moment. Eric saying. “I don’t have a dad.”. In the later episodes. Really! Yes you do. Eric killed his dad.

"Gotham" certainly let so many stuff open that never got resolved. Like that clone of Bruce who ran away that the Court of Owls that were taking care of. Or Sofia Falcone and we never see her again. I guess she wakes up after Bruce becomes Batman. And we never did find out where Barnes escaped off to after escaping custody. And the end of season 4 teased Man-Bat for season 5, but that never happened due to FOX cutting season 5 short. We never did find out what happened to Basil Karlo/Clayface after Riddler used him to torture Penguin by having him pose as his father. We never did get to see Mr. Freeze, Firefly, and Scarecrow during season 5. The show even wanted to introduce Calendar Man, Killer Croc, and Lady Shiva at one point. They were even thinking about changing up Barbara Kean's by having her become Harley Quinn or Magpie (hence why in season 4, she had Magpie's hairstyle). They wanted Ivy Pepper to join the Gotham Sirens. And they were supposed to have Tabitha fully embrace the identity of the Tigress. And yes, we never did get to see Harvey Dent become Two-Face. Sure, he does become the character when Bruce is already Batman, but it is weird how they just abandoned him on the show. Plus, Sal Maroni is the one to toss the acid on Dent's face in the comics. But he gets killed by Fish Mooney at the end of season 1. So now we're left wondering what will be the cause of Two-Face in this continuity. Like Joker in "The Dark Knight" or Penguin in "Batman: The Telltale Series".

The Doctor's Daughter has an ending. She finds a way to travel to our universe and marries the actor who plays her dad on the show that reenacts his adventures. 😂

I'll never get over The Doctor's Daughter. Its just ridiculous to have Jenny there and leave space for story concerning her......and do nothing with her. Ridiculous.

I suspect that the 'Gotham Knights' show was partly a do-over for 'Gotham' specifically to show Harvey becoming Two-Face on there.

To be fair , gotham was a OK show to me and some fans but I didn't watch Toby from pretty little liars nor like it nor the show itself the whole story was about what happened the night Alison disappeared and while there were clues, 20%of clues but 100% of sex and cheating and which one of these guys are sleeping with which girls and which guy Can pulling off the panties of the girls faster . If you want to have a mystery have some one that can write a good mystery then you can if you can't write it. Marlene king is not good at that .she does build up suspicious things like maybe a is going to call the pretty little liars and she does not, make it a complete waste of time. so the thing that was being built up was a complete waste of time and was not able to go anywhere in the story and give the illusion that some big but since it never went anywhere, it gives the feeling that nothing happened but gave it's audience the illusion that some happened when it didn't. The whole plot holes ,cece drake as a and the whole show is like a loop hole back hole .the time line makes no sense because it was Halloween and Thanksgiving day and in ether season 2 or season 3 tell me in the comments section, guys, 3and 4 would have been taken place a few months and the audience would not know that unless they were good at it . A being cece drake doesn't work because if she is not the real a and cece drake was the Darth Vader a and the real a was Spencer 's twin sister then why say cece drake is a when she is not. Complete waste of time. And we meet a character that we have never seen before and will never see again. Say what you will about pretty little liars reboot at least there's a good mystery yes some things were explained but some were not explained. The show was more about sex and which guys pulled down the pretty little liars 's panties the fastest instead of mystery of what happened Alison disappeared that night .

Her coming back to life is a plot twist. The original script had her die and then Moffat insisted to alter it...and then no pay off. I think because the actress was too busy though the very lore of the show means we can have another actress do it instead.

Nop, absolutly not. The number 1 is GoT because it had so many plot twists the went right down to toilet. Jon is true heir to the throne ? Let´s send him beyond wall.Cersei doesn´t joint battle against white walkers? nevermind, two epizodes latter she is dead anyway. Arya is faceless man and she use that once. Well thank you Dump and dumper for ruining such a good show, it´s been years and still it´s the worst finale in history

I would argue the 100 was worse. GoT' ending kinda made sense. It just needed more episodes to get there unlike The 100 who just suck all of because of that racist PoS Jason Rothenberg

I don’t see how the mother being dead on how I met your mother is a plot twist, that was pretty much a given in the pilot, I mean why else would Ted be telling his kids this long story unless she’s already gone

I think the part that angered me was that he got with ROBIN in the end. Robin: who didn’t want kids so it just seems like in the end Ted got what he wanted and it means women always come around to it if you wait and hope enough And Ted is annoying and I didn’t went him to be with Robin lol

It was an idea but I was not completely convinced.

I know we all remember *that* episode of Stranger Things season 2. I'm not sure it counts as a plot twist, but what a waste of an interesting plot line
