As a behavior specialist with client's who have oral sensory needs (PICA, chewing, mouthing) this is very helpful information to share with the parents when they ask, "how do I get my child to stop..." Thank you!

I experience discomfort while speaking, particularly with words that include the 'd' or 't' sound, as my tongue hurts. I feel while speaking like my tongue is only responsible for speaking and there no such tension feel on lips while speaking. I feel like the total control during speak only on tongue. Please suggest some exercises for correction this problem

It would be beneficial to seek out a trained therapist who specializes in speech and oral myofunctional therapy!

@@HarklaFamily Very difficult to find one with both speech and oral myofunctional therapy experience. we can find one of them but not both. Even feeding therapists don't do oral motor exercises where I live. no occupational therapist does oral motor exercises. I only find these exercises on KZread.

Could be that he hasn't developed the strength and endurance throughout his oral structures! A feeding therapist might be good to look into!
