Swellow was my only full odds shiny. There was a tornado passing through so my mom made me and my brother go to the basement. My DS was almost dead and I was just messing around and battling random wild Pokémon. Did not even know shiny Pokémon existed. I run into it, then there’s this big crashing noise and the power goes out. I catch it, save my game, and my DS died. Legendary night.

I think the reasoning behind Solgaleo is because of the idea of red giants/red supergiants. That may sound like I'm defending it, but that's not the case because it's not a great shade of red.

The red on Solgaleo was really unpleasant. I think it was mostly because it was just too much red. I personally would've preferred either a dark yellow or orange with red highlights here and there, to make it look more like the actual sun, since it doesn't really resemble a star at all.

Two things. First blue stars aren't big. They are actually pretty small on average to around the same size as the sun. Red Giants are big stars. Second I do t think there is anything wrong with the shiny it looks perfectly fine and I have no idea why anyone is saying it looks bad

Facts

My favorite shiny has gotta be Salamence, not just because it was my first shiny. If we wanna go by technicality, my real first shiny was a Sealeo, but I didn’t even notice it was shiny until after I caught it. I also caught it in a Max raid battle so I don’t feel like counting it. Salamence- Bagon when I caught it- was my first Shiny caught at its regular size. It was also the Pokémon that taught me about the apparent “Pokérus,” so I hold a big place in my heart for it. I’m also a huge fan of Pseudo-Legendaries.

Shiny Crustle is honestly one of my favorite shinies, and it always has been

I never hear anyone talking about Shiny Gigalith which is a shame because it is honestly one of the coolest shinies I have ever seen! You know how when Gigalith roars, its crystals light up orange? Well, the shiny form has blue crystals, but they still glow orange! Seeing the orange tint bleed through the blue crystals is incredibly cool, but often overlooked because you can only really tell by using it in battle.

Yea i totally agree with you. Seismitoad, reuniclus, hydreigon and krookodile are also great gen 5 shinies that are much too underrated.

The duel type shiny Azumaril was one of my first Pokémon cards and I’ve liked it ever since

I know this video is old. But when it comes to Green Shinies, I think Muk takes it. Grimer is really cool too, but Muk's darker green really fits it as a Pokemon. Especially with the subtle change of its tongue going from a faint purple to green.

With the dlc in shield (not sword) for crown tundra, you can actually hunt it with a 1 in 300 chance. With the shiny charm, it goes up to an insane 1 in 100!

Funny how bloodmoon lunala is good but red giant solgaleo doesn’t when it should. Is it too bright of a red? It’s based on the sun! Maybe make it darker? Could work but then the inspiration makes less sense. Kinda makes me want to hate shiny lunala for making the red work but solgaleo magically doesn’t work but I do like shiny lunala and I regret catching it in dynamax adventures without hunting it while having sword but not shield.

Guys... seriously... they probably chose red for Lunala to base it OFF a blood moon. Yes, the colors are different. But that doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't based off it. There are plenty of shinies who are based on different things that don't perfectly match it.

I’m so excited to see shiny Heatmor at the top of the list! It’s been my favorite shiny Pokémon for years and it makes me sad that everyone seems to dump on Heatmor as a whole when it has such a kick ass shiny 😢

I love it.but they should have the gem purple.

I think shiny Minun is really great and it does NOT get enough credit. I just wish they gave Plusle a similar quality shiny instead of making it nearly identical.

Shiny ribombee is literally my favourite shiny and I was so happy to see it on the list!!

Oh man I've been shiny hunting a Heatmor for years and finally got one last month! They're so great and seeing you include them on your list made me smile

I got one by masuda method a few months ago. I named it volcano and I don't regret it.

The reason that shines got better in gen 6 was because before, they used an algorithm to determine the colors, while they actually pick the shiny color now.

Just to clarify, when I say I accidentally find shiny Pokemon by complete accident, I mean throughout the Pokemon games I have played, I try to find one specific Pokemon in that specific area, when all of a sudden I am greeted with a shiny Pokemon.

I remember coming home early after working an overnight shift and as soon as I turned on Sun, I ran into a random shiny Ribombee

I love these videos even when I disagree with the opinions but I completely agree with all of these, even Bruxish! And thanks for the love for Ribombee, Azumarill and Crustle - three of my favourite shinies that I own. Spiritomb is also amazing and I'm currently hunting it! :D

legit silver Shiny Umbreon is my favorite shiny eeveelution. The blue and black. So good. Zorua is also another good one

Shiny Corsola is easily one of my favourite shiny Pokemon, mainly because it has a nice bright blue colour that fits Corsola and coral in general really well. It also has a nice white touch to it. I can see why it made its way into the honourable mentions.

I think shiny Bruxish was created when ketchup, mayo, mustard, and relish fell on it.

I love shiny Meowstic so much! It's one of my favorite Pokemon, so I'm glad it got such a nice shiny.

I was surprised with my favourite shiny being on the list and also being second! Shiny Meowstick looks sooooooooo good!

I don't know why people like shiny Solgaleo over shiny Lunala. Solgaleo looks like what Mufasa should have looked like after the stampede. Lunala turns into a blood moon. She's literally a living lunar eclipse

In SM my brother went through the effort of shiny hunting a Cutiefly, in USUM he found a shiny Cutiefly almost immediately by pure chance when starting his adventure.

Shiny Psyduck is definitely underrated. One day in Pokemon USUM, I found a random shiny Psyduck in a cave and named him Howard. I love him to death to this day.

I think the Magnezone line has some really good shinies. One of my personal favorites. I agree with you that Magnezone's shiny and it's prevolutions shinies are very underrated. This is why Magnezone's entire evolutionary line is one of my personal favorites. I've loved it as a kid, and still do to this day.

I think the reason Bruxish's shiny isn't liked might be because of the bright colours?
