I was a backup all through college at a big program and I cannot as you say I have no idea what it's like to be at that next level and even guys on my team that made it up struggle because it is incredibly challenging up there. Mike still had Rooney as his trainer he could of kept his fighting style which was so effective and kept his discipline at least. When Don came in he fired Rooney, changed mikes trainer and completely went out of his way to ruin mikes legacy and destroy him as a person, all the discipline cus taught him down the train cus the devil himself wanted that. It’s one thing saying don king made his money off mike but the most important and fucked up part is he ruined mike on PURPOSE. Don’t be a sheep either dude that rape charge was framed from the getcko.

@@sonnyblack0870 you need to look into that conviction buddy. I thought the same as you for a long time until I took the time to get the story myself. I have absolutely NO doubt in my mind now that he’s 100% innocent. And for the record too, a few months earlier she tried to pin a rape charge on someone else who was wealthy but it was thrown out of court! Even the Judge (who was female) didn’t seem to believe it. The trouble was Don King hired a fkn TAX ATTORNEY to defend Mike and it all went side ways from there. I don’t even remotely condone rapists but I don’t believe (having heard every point and fact in the case) that he’s even slightly guilty. She had him over a barrel

  • @sonnyblack0870

@@chrisbarton6760 Well if that’s true about her trying to pin a rape charge on another person a few months prior then that’s for sure cause for doubt. Thing is tho my understanding is she didn’t even pursue a cash settlement from Tyson. Also when I hear stories of Tyson with Teddy Atlas’s niece, and multiple other instances that show a pattern of unpredictable and untethered behavior, it’s not hard to believe. I’m a huge fan of Tyson the boxer, but I don’t conflate that with the man, or at least who he used to be as I do feel he’s redeemed himself in many ways by displaying a much more honorable and positive character as he’s gotten older.
