Black Bolt's death is 100% the most brutal MCU death I've ever seen. Look at that thumbnail his Brain is crushed and destroyed and blood is in his eyes and falling down his nose plus his headgearis tilted down a bit. Cross killing that dude by turning him to goo then using a napkin to throw away the goo is definitely a close 2nd

Agreed! Visions death was emotionally traumatic for Wanda.....Black bolts death was Brutal AF. def deserved the top spot for how cruel, ruthless and brutal it was.

What's even more terrifying about Professor X's death at Wanda's hands is that if you slow it down, you realize he doesn't get his neck snapped: she actually rips the top of his head off of his jaw - but it goes by so quickly that you wouldn't even notice it! Edit: holy cow, this kinda blew up...

The Illuminatis were DEFINITELY worse than Vision. I almost passed out from shock at it. Especially from the unexpectedness of it. Vision wasn’t surprising and, while still brutal in it’s own right, was definitely less so than the death of Black Bolt

Ok the deaths of the Illumanti definitely is the most brutal, especially Black Bolt's, I actually felt sick to my stomach after seeing that scene and any time I see the scene now it still makes me uncomfortable, and that's what makes it so damn good. Black Bolts death was the most agitating to me because he has undergone extensive training to never utter a sound, even in his sleep. So I highly doubt he would have started yelling out in panic because his mouth was sealed.

How Thanos wiped out all the heroes including Galactus in a titanic battle. Thor & Spiderman impaled standing up are the only recognizable ones, aside from Galactus' battered and holed body floating in space.

They do with doctor strange being the exception. If the back of black bolts heads blows off and mush comes out now that woulda been extreme. All these other deaths are cool but don’t do much when you consider they show hardly anything when killing these characters. That being said not every thing needs blood and guts to be nuts just makes it more visceral.

The loss of Capt. Carter & Prof. X’s losses were the most shocking within the Illuminati. Thanos DESERVED what Thor did to him; Tony Stark was more merciful in Endgame by comparison. Ditto Darren Cross. The loss of Capt. Carter & Prof. X were the most violent in the Illuminati.

I’d say the most vicious would be Loki, and Blackbolt. When Wanda removed Blackbolt’s mouth, literally when he screamed his entire brain exploded along with the insides of his head because it couldn’t escape. That was entirely dark. It was also severely tragic among Loki’s death, I never expected to see someone choked to death, especially when it comes to being a favorite character as well

People are taking about Black Bolt's death but Professor X is almost as brutal as Black Bolt. It's a blink it and you'll miss it moment but if you look closely or slow down the footage of the mind sequence, you'll see that Scarlet Witch didn't snap his neck but instead snapped his head into 2.

Maybe it's not "death" technically, but Darren Cross shrinking into irrelevance is crazy. That shit is more brutal than typical gore and it happened on a more kid-friendly movie. He better not be brought back, especially since Cross isn't a well written character either.

I remember when I saw Infinity War in theaters. When Thanos reversed Vision’s death, someone in the theater shouted “WELL GOD DAMN IT!” It was what we all where thinking at the moment.

When I saw the thumbnail Vision’s death was what I immediately thought of.

Most of these deaths are not that brutal compared to how Sharon Carter died in 'What If?' I find that definitely more gruesome and brutal than Hulk looking like he is being pumped with helium like a Looney Toon Character and exploding like he was made of a can of green spray paint.

I still say that the SHIELD agents thrown into the Quinjet blades in Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the worst death in the films. Obviously TV shows such as Daredevil and The Punisher had much worse.

i dont know man,, but black bolts death is the most brutal death i have ever witnessed from mcu... if you slow down the scene you can actually see his eyes briefly popped out of his eye sockets before he fell.. that scene will forever haunt me, i even remember the feeling i got the first time watching that scene...horrifying..

I was so happy to see, Black Bolt. in Doctor Strange 2. To see him die in the most brutal way with his power shut Was a huge shocking moment, Especially he finally made his big screen debut along with Mr.Fantasic and Professor X are all three original members of The Illuminati.

Doctor strange multiverse of madness definitely deserves to be on this list and I 100 percent agree with you on visions deaths as number one on this list. It is what started Wanda’s descent into madness and becoming a villain.

I love the one with the guy whose freaking LIP SKIN is stronger than his skull. That’s a weird body he’s got.

Lokis death should be higher up on that list. That cracking noise just sends chills up ur spine.

I was sincerely sitting there going "... Is this REALLY pg13??" more than once during Dr. Strange 2, but I literally burst out a "NOO WTF??" when Wanda did that to Black Bolt!!! I felt genuine discomfort during several scenes of the movie... Well played, Raimi, well played. Otherwise it takes something like Hostel 1 and 2 to cause me genuine discomfort... XD

Loki shouldn't even be considered as an honorable mention, he "dies" in practically everything he's been in lol

The Illiminati was brutal but Gargantos getting his eye ripped out of his face was straight up disgusting!

@@dietotaku I'm surprised that his head didn't even explode but maybe they did it like that so it wouldn't be too graphic even though we saw the decapitation of Thanos and the hulk exploding also how was everybody in the scene so chill they should have been screaming in horror for what they just saw

There was also that brief moment in the first Captain America where that nameless Hydra soldier gets bloodily mulched out of existence by propeller blades

We'll never know what Black Bolt was trying to say, but I'd like to believe that it was, "WHHHYYYYYYYYY?"

Imagine that Ghost Rider spirit of vengeance was in this list. He would probably talk about the rotting people, these people would rot alive but till the rotting was complete they would experience the whole thing. Now thats just BRUTAL.
