Yondu’s death hurts me the most, because I had father figures, but never a father. That’s why seeing Peter cry out for his adopted dad hit me so hard in the feels

@@THANATOS-PRIME there are actually a lot of upcoming mcu projects to be excited for like guardians of the Galaxy 3, secret invasion, Loki season 2, blade and both secret wars and Kangs dynasty in my opinion.

Iron Man's death hurt me the most. I knew it was coming and didn't want it to happen, but it did. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried, RIP Iron Man.

I remember watching the original Iron Man over a decade prior to Endgame, and when Tony said his famous last words before he died I felt a sadness I have never known from a movie before that point. 🥺

I just relived those tears I had for every single one of those characters 😢. However, I think it's safe to say Chadwick Boseman's black panther really hurt the most bcuz we really lost a real life hero

Yondu death. He didn't have to raise Peter Quill. He could have chosen to do what he was supposed to do. But he knows what's going to happen to Quill when he drops him off to his father. So he chose to raise him as If he was his own. He wasn't the perfect father, but he was Peter's true father and ultimately gave up his life for him.

The death of Tony Stark/Iron Man will never stop hurting us. He was the hero who started the MCU, and it will never be the same without him.

All of these deaths had me crying, but another one that was really hard to watch was the death of Uncle Ben in the original Spider-Man. Even though it became a funny meme later, Toby crying over Ben was heart wrenching.

Why did it have to be Natasha? I still mourn for her

You know, Chadwick Boseman and T’Challa’s death have in common, by illness. I should switch to Tony’s death for #2, and T’Challa’s death for #1 would be perfect. It hits me the most when I saw it in theaters.

Loss of loved ones is painful to accept. Still, we must soldier on, in tribute to their memories.

In the comics, yes. But in the movie the sound effect is not a snap. It's a wet thump. Plus blood came out of her nose . Yeah, she hit her head. It just wasn't as gory as it actually would have been in real life

Really Vision died twice and that doesn’t crack the top ten. He willingly sacrificed himself and traumatized Wanda. Only to come back and mean nothing. That one still hurt.

No. 12, this death still gets me choked up since she had to serve as the Uncle Ben in this Spidey film series set in the MCU ☠️😭

What always gets me is Tony's PTSD about his parent's deaths. If you watch all the movies, he typically tries to drive himself places, even though he has a driver he pays. The only times he doesn't are when he feels perfectly safe about who is in the vehicle with him, or he knows he has his suit with him

68: Felt like I wanted to scream when Queen Ramonda died. First T’Challa and now the Queen? Hasn’t the princess of Wakanda suffered enough?!

Tony’s death hurt me to the core. I love you 3000. T’Challah’s death hurt so badly. I waited since childhood to see him brought to life! Queen Ramonda. Nat’s death. OK, Yondu’s death and funeral took me under. They will all be deeply missed.

Loki was always flip flopping. Heimdall was a homie til the end, his death affected me more.

During black panther 2 wakanda forever i almost ugly cried almost the whole thing and the Rihanna song was getting to me and the clips of chadwick were so sad

I will admit that when the kid revealed his true name, it hurt.

Yes. While I'm a chronic movie crier - and I cried during both key death scenes - I cried hardest at the reveal, even as I said the name at the same time. Yeah, saw it coming...but it was still impactful.

Although Tony’s death was difficult to watch (but played beautifully by RDJ - the only person he reacts to is Pepper and in that one glance shows how much he really loves her), Hugh Jackman’s Logan just clinches it with his final moments with Laura. What makes it more poignant is, even after he found out he was her ‘father’ he initially didn’t want anything to do with her but a chain of events pushed them together and on the run (further bolstered by an enamoured Professor X). Their final scene gets me. Every time. Stark 2, Logan 1.

It was very quiet when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever started to play

The voice lowered at number 1. It’s even sadder because of Chadwick’s passing. 😢🖤

When you look passed all the jokes, marvel has some really dark and heart breaking moments. And I think the jokes make those moment’s eventually hit the hardest

"They're not for him" gets me every damn time.

Yondu always brings tears to my eyes, and it's the final moments and message with Quill that brings the tears.

The deaths that struck my heart are: 🌟O.G Groot 😭 (One of my top favorite Guardians of The Galaxy) 🌟Yondu 😭 (The coolest and funniest "parent" ever) 🌟Ironman 😭 (Underneath that armor was a heart of gold 💛) 🌟Frigga 😭 (An loving mother) 🌟Loki 😢 (A d*ck but he did rectify himself in Thor:Ragnorak) 🌟May Parker 😭 (An awesome parent/guardian) 🌟Prowler 😭 (a laid-back uncle but dangerous villian) 🌟Charles Xavier (Wheels) 😭 literally my favorite member of the X-Men, I dubbed him "Mutant MLK" (Wolverine,Beast,Wade Wilson,and Wheels) 🌟Logan 😭 (literally my #1 favorite member of X-Men) 🌟B.P 😢 (one of my favorite Marvel characters right between Daredevil and Thanos)

Honestly, I'm surprised there are 20 deaths in the MCU that are permanent.

The death that bring tears to me are Natasha because of the sacrifice, and Tony Stark (even if i saw it coming) but it’s Loki watching his other self dying that truly makes me cried. It’s painful (the sound of his neck breaking), frightening ( watching his own death) and so welled played by Tom Hiddleston. It implies such a strong psychological pain that it forces Loki to go on a new journey to change and forget his ridiculous glorious purpose.

Let us not even talk about the Death of Star Wars I get too emotional.......I must admit Spiderman all the versions of him in comics and movies has had a really sad life I mean Everyone he loves passes at some point or another. Each Spiderman has had so much heartbreak the Gwen Stacy death rocked me as a kid when I read that comic it was the first time I ever fully understood morality and it really reached you.

For me it will always be Aunt May. Such a shock in an otherwise great Spiderman movie. Followed closely by Tony Stark, then Nat.

A friend of mine didn't like "Wakanda Forever". I suppose he expected a more riveting story in spite of the genuine mourning of the cast and crew on Boseman's passing. While it's common for the middle chapter in series to have a darker or somber tone, one can't help commending them all for such a honorable tribute while exposing an all-too-real pain.

Iron Man is the most impactful Death but the saddest death for me in the MCU is Yondu's Death and Peter's realization that Yondu was the father he wanted.

Letitia Wright’s acting in her monologue with Okoye is scary good. Watching it in the theaters made me shake myself because it was so powerful.

67: I wished Aunt May would move out of the way when Green Goblins glider came but didn’t. Made me choke up

May’s death hurts EVER time I see it. I “ugly crying” a whole new definition EVER time I start crying.

I miss Vision and Steve Rogers/ Cap the most. Two highly great and noble characters. Even if old man Cap isn't (yet) confirmed to have been deceased.

I know she didn’t play enough of a significant role in MCU to make it on the list, but my God, Jane Foster’s death in Thor Love & Thunder destroyed me. I sobbed for a good 2 hours the movie ended.

If you watched Wanda & Vision you know how hard it hits watching Wanda in pain, she lost so much in life, the moment where she stands in the field where Vision planned to build a house with her was super strong and the moment where she says goodbye to Vision and her kids before losing him again even though he wasn't really real, the moment of Thor who lost so much as well where Jane Foster dies in his hands also hits hard, moment where Iron Man sacrifices himself is super strong, moment where Spider-Man loses Gwen is really heartbreaking also...

I'm still in denial of Gwen Stacey's death. We had to watch her fall only for Spiderman to be less than a second too late, torture!!

I'd refer 2018 Loki as Loki Odinson, while the variant on the show as Loki Lauffeyson

I would’ve swapped May and Natasha on this list, b/c as much as I liked Natasha May’s death hurt me more.

The only characters that died in MCU, and hits me the most were T’Challa, Tony, and Aunt May. As well as Stan Lee.

Looking at this list, the deaths in Ant-Man and The Wasp:Quantumania and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3 will make a new list. 😥 Sadly.

I get that Boseman died and Mojo honour him.... but Tony Starks death is the saddest !

Nah it's definitely tchalla's death thats the saddest.

When T'Challa died it's like a part of us had died as well, such as Shuri's shattered soul 💔 couldn't get pass her grief and she didn't stop mourning her beloved brother the good King 💔, but then it worsens when her mother died, now she must mourn for two people in her family who died a year apart. I felt Shuri as she saw Killmonger instead of her family when she became the next Black Panther.

Man... I agree with most of this list, didn't realize how some if these actually made me feel sad

As sad as Peggy’s death was in Civil War it was more painful in Dr. Strange. Didn’t felt sorry for Cap when just hours after Peggy was buried he was making out with her niece.

All of us agreed that the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man and Aunt May truly the heartbroken deaths I have ever cry when remembering The Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Most of the deaths are unnecessary. They should never have bumped off Iron Man. The new Marvel movies feel empty without two of the big three: Capt. America and especially Iron Man.
