It was balanced in COD 4 because you actually had to *choose* your perks wisely. Since Stopping power, UV jammer and Juggs were all in the same perk category you had to be smart.

@@protoman2260 you had to have stopping power to have a chance against jugg or other stopping power users. It straight up let you win fights against anyone else. A forced perk is not healthy for a game and I'm glad both it and jugg are gone or at least were for my time in COD

I know people are nostalgic of perks like commando, but mw3 recon and sitrep are insanely slept on. Like the above comment said, with headphones and decent map knowledge of where to throw flash grenades on maps you were playing on easy mode

WW2 didn’t have perks per say, but it did offer one of the most broken combinations I’ve ever seen in a game that has a permanent Shipment playlist. Commando division + Hunker + Escalation = essentially unlimited ammo, no reloading, and some insanely low times to earn streaks.

I'm surprised Stalker is higher on this list than Assassin. In all the time I spent playing MW3, I never heard anyone complain about Stalker at all. Not even once. People complained about Assassin a lot, and rightly so, but I never heard a word against Stalker. Definitely my favorite perk from that game.

Where's stopping power in mw2? Without juggernaut to counter it EVERYTHING melted faster

MW3 Recon Pro, toss a flash to the moon and you have an advanced UAV. Vanguard Piercing Vision and Warzone Combat Scout are also incredibly Overpowered MW(2019) Restock is a hot take especially when Ghost and Overkill are used way more.

Stopping power pro is more op than all of the perks on this list. It was so OP, it was quite literally mandatory.

Back in mw3 when I still played cod I used the combination of assassin pro, stalker pro and blind eye pro. In case some don't know what blind eye did, it allowed you to not be detected by enemy ai AND player air support (like the predator missle, reaper or ac130) and sentries... basically I wanted to make myself immune to killstreaks and claymores.

2 perks from MW3 made this list over sitrep pro, which was by faaaar the most overpowered perk in that game.

In mw2 stopping power was by far the most used and most necessary perk ever.

How are the vanguard perks piercing vision and forward intel not on this list. Being able to shoot through a wall or smoke and highlight your enemy is insanely broken and forward intel telling you where they spawn encouraged spawn camping and and acted as a sue-do UAV

Kinda upset we didn’t see recon pro from MW3 on here absolutely busted especially in 2v2 and 3v3 modes, spawn in throw a stun at spawn and rush with an mp7

One ting about the restock that some people may not know in MW2019. It doesn't refill tactical equipment on Spec Ops Special Operations

I remember playing the Wii version of black ops multiplayer at my cousin's house years ago and I always remember that ghost pro perk has the ability to protect the player against attack dogs.

Yeah, when it works, many times I dont get that sixth sense prompt until enemies are literally right up under me, like, close enough to melee close

MW2 was so broken it was actually balanced. A Chaotic masterpiece

I’d say stopping power had more op to it then danger close. Sure danger close was ridiculous, but stopping power since perks were introduced.

I remember in MWR, I made a gamemode where everybody had martyrdom. Just regular TDM until somebody dies on shipment

Surprised black ops 2’s “ toughness “ didnt make it. Was a crutch perk in the game and made snipers almost unstoppable

Assassin Pro and Stalker Pro were a must on my classes in MW3.

Meh frag x3 came in a slot where the other options were an RPG as a 3rd weapon, 2 C4s or claymores in addition to grenade or noob tube... It made a lot of sense in that game.

Surprised Ghost from mw isn’t here at least people got used to restock and it really wasn’t the problem of the game ghost definitely was though

Nothing will ever be as broken or as fun as steady aim pro + marathon + tactical knife + care package (pre patch)

Commando Pro in MW2 and Stopping Power in basically every COD game that has it but especially MW2 because unlike other cods with stopping power it didn't have the jugg perk to counter it

Scavenger was kind of OP too. It's usually not considered an OP perk as it's one that game needs and one that is commonly used. Also another alternative to One Man Army Danger Close was using Scavenger Danger Close and then having a RPG or a Thumper for more explosive power.

Scavenger at least forced you to move around the map to resupply your explosives. There was risk involved with Scavenger+Danger Close setups, especially since most of the Secondary launchers were very slow to handle.

One Man Army Pro was my favorite perk in MW2

Recon pro from mw3 has to be on here. Being able to toss a bang and know the direction the enemy is facing was ridiculous. Mw3 try hard setup of recon assassin and stalker are un matched

Slight of hand pro is what made quick scoping so good in mw2 surprised it's not here

Recon pro and Sitrep pro easily some of the most OP perks.

Sleight of Hand Pro + Assassin Pro + Stalker Pro +Specialist Package (Quickdraw Pro + Scavenger Pro + Hardline Pro) is a freaking beast mode!

Flak jacket was way more OP in BO1 and it never got fixed if I remember

Cold war flak jacket has nothing on BO1 flak jacket, napalm strikes tickled you and I'd argue the explosive resistance was even stronger

If it were perk combos, I’d say you should’ve included Flak jacket, Scavenger, Tactical Mask. BO2, BO3, BOCW. it was a seriously good combo

With cold war my brother was going for the dark matter camo and all he has to do is launcher but with flat jacket it made it impossible so he gave up.
