I used to call it Tyranno'd, because I started with the Dinosaur structure deck, and, well, Ultimate Tyranno was part of that deck. Honestly, I was expecting to seek him there, since it has dozens of ways to OTK your opponent, usually with "Ojama Trio".

Chaos Emperor Dragon was errata'd, and Chaos Dragon Levianeer can't stop the indestructible/floaters. CDL (lol commercial driver's license) only gets effect when summoned by it's effect rather than once per turn as BLS has. But yes Immortal Phoenix Gearfried not in vid proves power creep. Favorite Hero as well (fun with Nebula Neos - also eligible for this vid but 20:47 nah let's not isolde into aqua dolphin to get rid of big bad nibiru with a big hero on the board), and combo extending with spiral resort as a field card). 12:56 lol ignore TCG name Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon.

@@matteo964 BLS is fine; got bosses that can't be targeted, graveyard combos rely on draw power and opponent not having dark law/hand trap, and monster effects can be negated. Isolde is a lot more overpowered and can be a toolbox for so much once you got equips to dump. No reason why she is allowed and pendulum skullcrobat joker is banned.

Pretty much. Revolver is so bullshit that there was a moment on season 2 where the main villain have to bullshit out a plot armor just to stop him from shitstomping them. And he still managed to turn it around to the point that the main villain is forced to get a tie against him. That main villain kinda spent most of the season lucksaccing like mad before Revolver comes in too. Its pretty great Of course the name of Vrains is "if your name is not Cyberse Clock Dragon your not doing jackshit" so he get sidelined

What’s funny is that it’s still just (most of) his extra deck monsters that are broken. Rokkets can swarm like mad...after turn 1, making it a slow deck for such a strategy. So people just used his extra deck stuff with better swarm decks and called it a day.

3 of them are from Revolver Extra Deck. He really has the best extra deck in all Yu Gi Oh.

For the less initiated, you probably should have mentioned a technicality in what makes Nibiru so effective: it "tributes" all monsters on the field, rather than destroying them. So not only is it a Dark Hole that you can activate as a Quick Effect from the hand, it also gets past any effects that would prevent a monster(s) from being destroyed. Monsters that allow you to tribute your opponent's monsters, even just during your own turn (sometimes even using your normal summon), are often very competitive - Kaijus are one of the most infamous archetypes in the game for this very reason, alongside other cards like Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode. Nibiru takes this idea and makes it slightly less versatile in terms of what your opponent needs to do to set it up, but allows you to much more effectively use it as disruption.

It's also overrated as hell to be at number 1. Sure it can be a lot of decks, depending on the meta, but it's also a massive brick if you aren't playing against someone who special summons a lot or plays around it. There are way more important cards to strategies than Nibiru. When it works, sure it's great, but it also is just a brick in your hand most games. A card relying on your opponent to make a mistake should never be ranked higher than cards that can be the core parts of an entire winning deck.

@@randumo24 I see where you're coming from, but honestly I think the fact that Nibiru made playing the way that would have been optimal prior to its release a "mistake" is enough of a reason for it to take the top spot here. As one example of many, consider what influence it had on Adventure and Swordsoul decks. Decks would go out of their way to establish Wandering Gryphon Rider or Baronne de Fleur as early as possible, sometimes even giving up a potentially stronger endboard to do so, just to avoid the CHANCE of the opponent having drawn Nibiru.

Also one of the strengths of Chaos Dragon Levianeer is that it can be searched out stupidly easy because of it's type and stats. With Melody of Awakening Dragon you can search it plus another dragon with 3000+ ATK and 2500- DEF (although you don't need to have a second target), and the search requires a discard, which fuels the summoning requirement for CDL. So basically any deck that plays light and/or dark monsters can splash it with a searcher, while decks with other dragons that can be searched gain extra advantage for using that engine.

Best cards that protect OTHER cards when on the field. (Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, Field Barrier, etc.)

I bet Mermaid would of gotten the axe even if Orcust Knightmare didn't exist, like you pointed out it ss Iblee was way to strong. Speaking of Iblee I'm surprised she doesn't see any play, plenty of decks can make link plays prior to using their ns in which case she's a MR and strong floodgate. As far as I know there isn't a commonly played link 1 - with the exception of Salad and other cyberse decks - that can be made with her so she's still a very strong floodgate and she makes extralinking a possible win-con even in MR5.

All of the borrel link-4 monsters have a spell speed 4 targeting effect. It's so you can target your own rokket monsters and proc their effects without the opponent being able to react, as Borrels are *technically* supposed to be the boss monsters of the Rokket archetype (alongside Topologic)

I just want to say that I have never played yugioh and got to your page along time ago due to your WoW channel. You really do a good job at explaining things and has sparked a huge interest in yugioh for me.

7:35 "Control" and "Possess" are two different things IMO. (The yellow text is wrong, what you said is right though) - You control cards on your field. - You possess all cards in your hand, Deck, GY, banished, etc... - You own cards that start the Duel in your Deck/Extra Deck.

It’s pretty interesting that all of the monsters mentioned here that are in master duel have their own summoning animations

dmtrsgrks rphl I run Shadow Impulse in my deck, because I also run Stardust Dragon, so whoever I Summon out first can cheese into the other one with it. And then all the Dragunity-Knight Synchros are Level 6, except for two that are Level 10, so it also works for them.

All Borrel monsters have a SS4 effect because VRains’s rival character uses Rokkets, which all have “when” effects when targeted by a Link monster, which most Borrel monsters are; this ensures the Rokkets’ effects go off with no disruption. Fun trivia: Borrel refers to the barrel or chamber of a gun; all Borrel monsters have a barrel on them. Rokkets refer to the bullets the Borrel monsters shoot; this is best seen in the anime where the Borrel monsters’ target the Rokkets with their effects, the Rokkets turn into a bullet, are placed inside of the Borrel monsters and shot at their opponents’ cards.

Frankly, when I heard the term "omni-negate", I could tell what it means from context clues. Omni, root for "all"

@@Carnage-Pepe Still Blue eyes alternative white dragon isn't in top 10 because there're cards that easier to summon and make you almost win the game by its own like how borreload sword dragon and savage dragon both on top 10 because borrelsword can be win it by it's own and savage dragon have a omni negation. It's a combo extender and there still some card that better combo extender than it like Grinder Golem (which give you 6 tokens for normal summon and it's effect isn't once per turn)even it's banned still count because it is top 10 monsters with 3000atk

After watching these videos, make me want to try Duel Links again. The reason I kept quitting is that is started to get harder to make progress, beat other players (could use good advice on best cards to use), or I get to addicted to the game or play it too much. Maybe I need to try to be better setting a time limit on the game and maybe soldier forward through the game and not get discouraged with what I face. Also this is pretty much the best way to play against other players since its hard to physically find of place to play against others, let alone find the time to do it.

"Top 10 Blackwing Monsters in YuGiOh," which should include the "Assault Blackwing" archetype.

The reason there's a limit to his variety (which isn't even that big of a deal) is because the best and worst cards tend to always be the same. If you want variety, maybe you should look up "10 Random monsters with 3000 atk"

@@RockinRobert19 Easy to bring out, versatile, powerful effects. The fact that it is not immune to everything doesn't matter, because it needs little to no effort to be summoned. You know who needs a great resource investment to be summoned though, and is still susceptible to Impermanence, Veiler and Fiendish chain? All of the above monsters bar Full Armor Master. So what's your point?

Could you please do the Top 10 Best Dark Magician Retrains and the Top 10 Best Blue Eyes Retrains?

Btw, this tip is for new players, If you don't want to be Nibiru'd, put Traptrix Rafflesia on your side deck with a Gravediggers Trap Hole on your side deck. So now, you have a quick effect to negate Nibiru, also, Summon it before your fifth summon, just in case.

I don't play the game but find these videos as a good thing to watch/relax to before bed

It feels thick and compact, somehow. :3 Among the honorable mentions there could be BLS, Chaos Emperor Dragon (the classic one and the new Pendulum version), Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons, Judgment Dragon, Void Ogre Dragon and several others... Including Blue Eyes White Dragon, of course. Also, now that I think about it, you could even make the same top for the WORST Monsters with 3000 ATK! Keep up the good work! Here are my usual suggestions: Top 10 Tuner Monsters (that aren't mainly used as hand traps); Top 10 Ritual Monsters; Top 10 Union Monsters; Top 10 Gemini Monsters; Top 10 Cards that have a better version of themselves (BLS>Chaos Sorcerer, Magical Stone Excavation>Spell Reproduction...) Top 10 Spell/Trap Cards that activate from the GY.

I'd like to see the top 10 mons with 5000 ATK, but there are only 8 of them in existence...so the top 10 monsters with over 4000 ATK could be interesting. The best 0/0 monsters in existence would be pretty cool. The top 10 cards from before GX that aren't on the F/L List could be interesting too. The top 10 generic synchros could be fun too.

Yup,cant be destroyed by battle or card effects unless your opponent negates its effect for the turn and has more than 3000 atk points.

One thing i should mention. If you Synchro Summon Crystal Wing with Windwitch Snow Bell, snow bells effect makes it so that Crystal Wing cannot be destroyed by card effects so a lot harder to get rid off unless Kaiju mind control and use it as fodder or 'send cards to grave" clause

I'd really like to know which old cards you think should be turned into fusion, xyz or synchro. (imo Valkyrion, Magnet Warrior should be a fusion monster without poly)

For gumblar, there was also the thunder dragon danger dekc that could do a 4 cards hand loop (2 gumblar, 1 levianeer and 1 diabolos) and summoning 1 colossus and 1 zombie Stein

Chaos Dragon Levianeer also goes great into a cyber load fusion, I run two in my cyber dragon deck.

I like how dragoon also kinda references kaiba as well with the blue eyes stats.

Idk if this card wasn't out yet when you made this, but that level 12 mathmech synchro (just looked it up it's geomathmech final sigma) is low key super good, and has 3000 attack. Only downside is, it has to be in your extra monster zone to be super good. (unaffected by card effects, except "mathmech" cards while in the extra monster zone) Also for a level 12 synchro, it's laughably easy to summon.

I like just how little this list would have to change to be a top 10 level 8 monsters list

D/D/D High gust King Alexander deserves some love here his effects are incredible special summon a monster from the graveyard each normal or special summon you make and if you have 2 more D/D/D monsters put he gains 3000 atk points

I dont know if you already did it, but you can make a "Top 10 best card that are -1 in card advantage"

Thus one if my favorite of your top ten's, i think that a top ten most advantageous normal summons

Personally I was hoping to see Blue Eyes White Dragon on there or at least one of the variations of the card. The card itself is not too special these days, but the many ways you can summon it or use it with other cards is awesome. One of my favorite cards and usually a good to card for decks, especially on Duel Links.

I run a tier 3 synchro that I have 4 negates on the field. With Crystal Wing, Stardust Warrior, stardust Dragon and fa degrade buster. So seeing Crystal wing here is really nice
