@@pu2heen028 Kirk is good but not melodic by any means. He did some nice stuff between Kill Em All and maybe AFJA but Marty and Dime were consistent and overall much better than Kirk. That’s just my opinion though. I’m not dissing yours by any means either. Sorry if it seems like I am

Five Magics and Poison Was The Cure... you sir are a connoisseur! Hard to separate #1 and #2... Lucretia for the technique and those gorgeous bends and Tornado for its melody. I think the only ones I would have put in are Family Tree and possibly Skin O' My Teeth.

Lucretia solo is a master piece FFF solo is killer, Captive Honor i love a lot, in F#. Solo if Skin'o'my teeth is great Thrust as well, a beauty. I Thought i new it All guitar solo is master piece too. First distortion solo on Holy Wars, in G, goes to Bb etc....beauty.

Angry Again is my fav too

Foreclosure of a dream is my favourite in the list & the very last photo during lucretia is the best action shot.

Best metal guitar playing of all time! The guy had tendonitis while recording Rust in Peace and all of his solos were recorded in one take. ✅

Your phrases and simple passion for music is enough ispiriation to last a lifetime, let alone the countless albums you continue to make! much love But my question is did you ever have tendinits issues or pain in your wrist? If so what did you do to fix it? Thanks Marty!!! MARTY'S ANSWER: I had a terrible problem like tendonitis/carpal tunnel just at the beginning of the Rust in Peace recordings. The way I healed it was by playing guitar only the absolute bare minimum and icing down my arm after every time I played, be it in the studio or live. I did this for at least 6 months and it got better. If you have a similar thing, get real medical advice, and best of luck.

Great list! I would have personally ranked the killing road a bit higher. My top 3 in no particular order would have been the killing road, Tornado and Lucretia.

Vortex isn't well known, and ridiculously underrated. It's basically Tornado part 2, even down to the title.

All of these are amazing solos but I wouldn't say Lucretia is better than Tornado.. Not even in the top five.. Top 5 must be Tornado, Hangar 18, Poison, Killing Road and ANGRY AGAIN (I can't believe you left that one out)... Also Skin O My Teeth is badass

This was compiled off of the remastered songs from what I can tell. Those have really shitty mixing sadly. You haven't truly heard Megadeth until you've heard the original ones. The original ones hit hard while the remastered ones fucked up the placement of most things.

​@@saredodevil There's no way it could be with the remaster/remixing that's in there. I'd say not from the 2018 The Final Kill ones but from the 2004 remasters. Which you can only tell from sound and the album art on the CD case is different. They called those the same thing though. If it was the original certain instruments wouldn't be so drowned out. Guitar solos wouldn't be so far in the back when present. The drums would be slightly more in the back but still present enough when needed. Guitar would be a bit further in the foreground of the sound. Although, they'd also in different spots depending on what song, what part of it it is, and what the structure calls for. There's a lot of examples of what makes it sound off and just not as good as the original releases.

Lucretia by far the best!!!
