I have 2 Alma, PM and MM. In addition with a black/silver reversible shawl and a couple belts. Love them but regret to buy. It was years ago when I bought new at boutique and order online. It cost me over 10k buying luxury. I enjoyed them but won't buy again with this unstable economy, plus it's no longer safe on the streets to carry and showing we have money.

I remember when the Neverful was under 1k USD. I paid $1500 in 2020. Now living Canada and just purchased the Coussin BB. I was so loving the Coussin PM and changed my mind last minute. I was waiting for a Black Chanel 19 but decided the Coussin BB is better for my lifestyle..Great video thank you.

I’m so excited for you! Hope you enjoy your trip to Paris . It will be especially memorable given you are purchasing your first LV bags. I think choosing a starter bag is such a personal choice- it’s like asking something their suggestion for a best pair of shoes or best car in the market. I know there are many videos on KZread providing suggestions for best first starter bags. While I believe getting a variety of opinions is helpful, it really comes down to your personal style, body frame and preferred functionality. Nevertheless, I think the journey in finding your starter bag will be a memorable one. I hope you enjoy it. My recommendation is to follow your heart and it will guide you to your first starter bag. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials-brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 *condup* backpack replica - also good for comparison - I can't find any differences and still use it in the gym

I think all the vintage Louis Vuitton bags are timeless. Little used, PreLoved? Find a trusted cobbler to do the repairs. Some of new LV bags, accessories are cut on quality. Chaps, ribbing and some bag handles, straps are not as sturdy as the vintage ones. Reinforcements for the shoulder straps, pockets, and such needs to be added. ThankU ThankU

What do you guys think about the Pochette Metis in black? So in love with this bag since ages but scared its not going to be a good investment. Heard a lot of people complain about the sections inside the bag. Searched for other nice black crossbody bags but nothing really got me as excited as the Metis

I have in Navy blue emperiente monogram leather and it doesn't hold a lot, but I have no regrets buying it because it's so pretty. I only use it if I go out to dinner or I'm not going too far from home because of that.

I've never liked the LV brand because I prefer understated luxury goods. That, and because back in the early 90' before I ever bought a pricey handbag, I was in Italy and fake LV bags were being sold in the back alleys in most big cities. So that gave me the impression that they were cheap-looking bags that had way too much branding plastered all over them.

@@amommyreview she bs. In italy, specially in Florence, they DON'T sell fake. What say leather is genuine leather. They may copy the style but Not allowed to put a fake Logo. I bought a couple leather bags in boutiques, very beautiful and high quality at a fraction of price. Even those bags sell at flee market along the alley ways (a lot in Florence) very cheap and beautiful for gifts at a cheap price. But they never have counterfeits brand name. The law in italy is very strict about counterfeits. People can get arrested for using counterfeits at airport, same in Paris.

@singh jc: Thanks for the link, Singh jc! I haven't ever purchased from that particular site, but a few years ago I bought several Hermes dupes on Amazon and love them. I use them to this day. My favorites are the Hermes "Garden Party" knockoff totes. I haven't bought a new (authentic) designer bag in years. In fact I've been selling most of the ones I had. I've only kept Chanel and Hermes because those brands continue to rise in price on the pre-loved market. I will eventually be able to sell them for much more than I paid for them. Thank you again for your kind comments and the recommendation of that internet site. 💖

I've purchased one of the #luxdups bags. I must say the quality is very good and I love this product

I cannot find one LV bag that I like.. more of a smaller bag person, and LV bag that worth to buy seems to be bigger size

Wow none of my bags made the list 🤣 my babies are boite chapeau, papillon and sofia coppola (better than speedy IMO) all are hands me down from mom. She owns a pink cluny and a dauphine, very pretty and unique, I hope she lets me use it one day. But her most used bag is neverfull (that's the only popular lv bags she owns I think) 😂 and I don't really like it

Yikes! I bought my multi pochette when it was $1,800 and now at $3k, no way! Btw, wore it maybe 8 times then the clasp broke. Quality questionable too.
