you have to remember that this was from 50 ft though. My 6 survived falling out of my pocket while driving 50kph on my motorcycle, with a sruvivor case, i doubt any apple official case could do that

Remember the griffon survival is not for 50 ft drops although it is meant for All terrain. Before I got the s8, I had the s6... with a Griffin all terrain case.. worked perfectly

It has a lot to do with the case if u have a case that's plastic it's not gonna survive a 50 foot drop if it lands anywere

I have heard that otterbox defender case can ruin the iphone around the fingerprint sensor, is that true? It looked as if it left a weird smudge that would not come off on KZread. Also would it be better to take out the plastic and put a glass screen on it with the otterbox ??
