Love Is An Open Door
Songs from Hunchback of Notredame were truly a disney classic. With deep message and awesome classic tune.
Between Belle, Love is an Open Door, La Llorona, Out There, and Nothing Left to Lose, Disney puts out some killer villain/hero duets
@NYChica23

You Are the Music in Me (Reprise) is also another killer Disney hero/villain duet that was on this list
I always consider Moses and Rameses has gotten one of the greatest hero/villain duet song of all time when God send the plagues to Egypt. Again Prince Of Egypt is still a masterpiece movie of all time.
@sansfangirl4life439

it's an epic movie, and i always loved how they portrayed Moses and Rameses in the movie: like people. People who grew up together, loved one another as family. The pure anguish in Moses's voice and the animation done in this film is some of Dreamworks's best work, and i would recommend this movie to literally anyone.
Hunchback is a criminally underrated movie, Frollo is also my favourite Disney villain 🖤

I’m very happy that “Nothing Left to Lose” from “Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure” made it on this list, especially since I’ve been listening to it everyday.
The prince of Egypt is a masterpiece and deserves more recognition and love ❤️

Still is one of the greatest masterpiece of all time, and who still love the EPIC song "The Plagues".
“The Plagues” from “The Prince of Egypt” is probably my favourite. Could you do a list for Top 10 Best Pop Versions of Disney Movie Songs?

The stage version of the plagues always gives me chills, it really perfected the original movie version
"Belle" was the perfect way to open the film, and introduces us to Belle and Gaston's goals and personalities.

Meh.
“La Llorana” sounds so beautiful and the choreography makes me laugh as Imelda keeps trying to get off stage/away from Ernesto.💝
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is iconic!! So glad you included it. And The Prince of Egypt Plagues song is epic!!
My favorites are: 1) Every time Frodo opened his mouth in *Hunchback of Notre Dame* and, 2) The entirety of *The Prince of Egypt!* The songs with Rameses and Moses are beyond next level! 🙌🏽
My favourite has to be Mother knows best (Reprise) from Tangled. Even though Mandy Moore's lines were spoken and not sung, Donna Murphy was incredible during that song!
@sarahprince2412

That’s true. That is personally better than the first Mother Knows Best. I wish that was included even though Rapunzel doesn’t sing.
The Prince of Egypt is such an underrated gem of a movie
My love for Out There is just growing ❤️ and I get chills every time I hear that duet from The Prince of Egypt! It’s chef kisses 👌
I always enjoy a good hero/villain duet song! I mean i like duets in general but hero/villain duets are one of my top favorite kind!...especially since some of them reflect both the heroes and villains perspectives in the stories.

It's like a Villain song and a Villains Sucks Song in one
I am so happy to see Out There at number 4. Hunchback of Norte Dame has an incredibly underrated soundtrack that needs more recognition.
“The Prince of Egypt” has arguably the most powerful soundtrack of any animated movie, but “The Plagues” takes it to a whole other level. Can’t believe it didn’t make #1 on this list.
Missed opportunity for LITTLE SHOP's "Feed Me" or "Now (it's just the gas)" 😁
SPOILER ⚠️ I do agree with Love is an Open Door being on this list, but I don’t think it deserves to be number 1
My favorite hero/villain duet Nothing Left To Lose from Rapunzel Tangled Adventure love Varian and Cassandra duet seriously them singing together was amazing! ❤️
I immediately thought of the plagues! Glad it made the list :)
So nice to see Alan Rickman again in Sweeny Todd. Hunchback of Notre Damn is so underrated

What about the point of no return from the Phantom of the opera? that counts as a hero/villain duet.
ik a lot of people nowadays hate on the Les Miserble movie, but i still have a soft spot for it. Hugh Jackman has always been a talented singer, and Russel Crowe surprised me when i saw it in theaters. Honestly that was the best way to witness the movie :3 glad to see it here, no matter what people say
"This Day Aria" from 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' and "Savages (reprise)" from 'Pocahontas' should've at least been in the honorable mentions.
@summerproductions7699

Technically it isn't a duet since the same actor is singing both roles. Also it's top in the epic villain songs list. I saw it has it recondition
Confrontation from Jekyl & Hyde should’ve been featured here!
Now see here, my daughter was obsessed with Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures when she was 2-4. We must have watched the entire series on loop at least 30 times. I can quote episodes, map character story arcs, and pull inside gags from the ether at a moment's notice. It was absolutely maddening. I was sick to death of that show. I wanted to burn my Fire Stick. I had dreams of cancelling Disney+. I hoped I would never see or hear it ever again. That said... ...Ready As I'll Ever Be is the vastly superior hero/villain duet song and I will cosplay with my daughter in our little purple dresses and blonde wigs and fight with frying pans to the death over that one. Seriously. Get your crap together MsMojo.
@TailsFan
2 жыл бұрын
"Ready as I'll Ever Be" is less of a Hero/Villain song more and more of a mob song like "Kill the Beast". They all sing, yes, but it's not the same as "Nothing Left to Lose". Besides, "Nothing Left to Lose" has the added spice of Varian being a Villain-turned-Hero that is trying to talk the new Villain out of her goals.
WOW!!! Both of my all-time favourite musicals got a mention (Sweeney Todd and Hunchback)!!! I am so happy right now!
The version of Out There done by Josh Castille (and his singing voice, whose name I can’t recall. EJ?) in Seattle’s 5th Avenue theatre’s production of Hunchback was INCREDIBLE

Do what you gotta do from Descendants 3
Before watching, “The Confrontation” from Les Miserables should be #1.
very very great epic list I like it a lot very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever ❤
I will always consider Out There and Nothing Left to Lose the best hero villain duets
One of my favorite duets is My Eyes from Dr Horrible's Sing-along Blog, though not sure if that's necessarily a hero/villain song
I absolutely love Nothing Left to Lose! It's so underrated!
“Devil Takes the Hindmost” from Love Never Dies! Erik and Raoul again battle for Christine’s love.
You forgot the final fight between the titular princess and Vor in Sofia the First and the This Day Aria with Princess Cadence and Queen Chrysalis.
“Out There” and “The Plagues” in the same list? Yes, please
"A Man's Gotta Do" from "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" I consider a Hero/Villian Duet. Penny is more of a background singer, and not a featured character in the song, so based off of that I think it counts. Anyway, I think that "Love is an Open Door" and "Aaron Burr, Sir" should be switched, but that's just me. *shrug*
My picks that aren’t in the list: (not in order) - This Day Aria (My Little Pony) - Seventeen (Heather) - The World According to Chris or And Eve was Weak (and eve was weak is so chilling) - Confrontation (Jekyll and Hyde) Not sure if this counts but Biggering (the Lorax) is pretty close to a duet but it’s also a deleted song Edit: now that I think about it, maybe This Day Aria and Confrontation aren’t on here because they were sang by the same actor/actress, but since they’re different characters it should still count. Otherwise it’d be like saying Ariel’s singing is the same as Vanessa’s.
So happy to see much love for Hunchback of Norte Dame. I love the film so much.
love is a open door is my favorite
My favorite is The Plagues from The Prince of Egypt, my second is Out There and third is Aaron Burr, Sir
As much as I hate Frodo I think that Hunchback of Notre Dame is one Disney's most underrated animated movies.

I had completely forgotten about pretty women. I love Sweeney Todd so much and all the songs. It even having my 3 fav actors as the main characters I love. It’s probably unhealthy for me to like it so much but it’s one of my fav Tim burton movies
No This Day Aria? That was a beautiful duet.
Playing his Game in Death Note the Musical will always be one of my favorite hero/villain duett
Would any of the World Tour songs count at least when Heather , Alejandro and Courtney are singing the most ?
@Jeremiah_Rivers76
2 жыл бұрын
I agree. (Spoilers ahead in my reply.) After a boulder traps Heather in the pit she’s digging-the second challenge was to dig for oil barrels for the _Total Drama_ Jumbo Jet in the desert of Drumheller, Alberta-Alejandro is determined to get to the semis by any means necessary, and that includes leaving the show’s Queen of Mean for dead. Heather’s bridge in “This Is How We Will End It,” however, is enough to temporarily melt his icy heart. Despite this, Heather walks back on her promise to avoid voting for Alejandro that night. Not that it mattered, because Sierra used sparklers as candles for a cake she made for Cody. Heather’s barrel had leaked after she punctured it with her pickaxe, and the sparks were the heat source that provided the destruction of the jet, and Sierra’s disqualification, despite being immune.
I don’t understand all the hatred for Russell Crowe’s singing performance as Javert. He may be not the best singer, but he sure as hell does better than several other actors in more acclaimed movies (like i.e. Mel Gibson in Pocahontas or Emma Watson in the Beauty and the Beast live action). *Personally* I love his performance, and I think it more than holds its own against the other ones in the movie.
I would have gone with Jimmy's and Charles version of "the winner takes it all" from Better Call Saul, it makes more sense
"the plagues" absolutely SMACKS
My favorite is Nothing Left to Lose.
My favourite from this list for me one is nothing left to lose Hamilton and out there!
#4 is my top spot for me. #7 also is my second choice. The good ole days.
1. Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures 2. Frozen 3. Tangled 4. Frozen 2 5. The Hunchback 6. Beauty and The Beast My Favorite Best Disney movies and animated series ever
'The Good Doctor', The Protomen. 'Sons of Fate' is good too but I prefer this one.
3:33 Holy shit it's on here! Yesss this is my favourite ✨
Before watching the video: I bet you put "Love is an open door" on this list.
And love is open door wouldn’t have even thought of that lol
Where's Mine Mine Mine and Savages from Disney's Pocahontas??? 😟
Where’s “Sing, Sweet Nightingale” from Cinderella?
La Llorana is brilliant
Does the Confrontation from Jekyll and Hyde count?
While people may not agree that "Les Mis" doesn't really deserve its spot so high up, I think it does. Yes, Russell Crowe isn't the best singer as Javert, but I think it fits as the antagonist to Hugh Jackman's Valjean in the best way possible. Javert has been looking for ValJean for years in earnest (in the Books he more just crosses paths with Valjean over the years) and you can hear the strained desperate need to beat ValJean finally in Russell's voice. ValJean just wants to restart his life and not cause issues or waves for the life he has left. Thus the more suprised sound to Hugh's voice, as ValJean is confronted with Javert once again, actively "hunting him again". What makes it more impactful is ValJean is willing to come back and go with Javert again after doing one final act of mercy and show how much he has changed his life: while Javert is actively not listening and not trying to see ValJean as still a human man which grief and sadness . Both their voices start off in a beautiful duet showing how separate the men seem, but as the song continues, they slowly realize they aren't so different: but due to circumstance can never bond over their shared similarities. I know this is long lol, I just feel like it is beautiful in showing how they are both similar men: but on opposite paths and how tense it was during that time
I Think Dr.Facilier He Does Have Some Of Judge Frollo and Jafar in him. ❤🖤💜🔥🃏🧞♂️
Number one and plankton is my favorite
I like the lift but we’re is this day aira!
I will be quite discontent if the confrontations from Les Mis and Jekyll & Hyde are snubbed
The fact that abuela never got a solo in encanto and mirabel and abuela never had a duet is so
THE PLAGUES should have definitely been over Love is an Open Door. There's no question about it. It's better in every way; the power, the emotions, the hard-hitting lyrics that symbolize the utter betrayal each other feels by way of each others' actions. It's my favorite song from Prince of Egypt, for sure. I'm not saying Love is an Open Door shouldn't be on here (even though I personally despise it), but it should be much lower on the list, shouldn't be over The Plagues, and definitely not #1. Also, so glad Out There from Hunchback is on here! I love that one, every single aspect of it! Y-you know... besides Frollo himself 😂 Also also, seeing the Aaron Burr, Sir on here just further reminds me I GOTTA watch Hamilton before I die 😂
It’s Going Down-Descendants 2.

Well, she's kind of like a villain since she's trying to break up Troy and Gabriella and she's trying to keep the spotlight for herself instead of sharing it with the Wild Cats. She wants to ruin everyone's life and she forces Fulton to make the wild cats work all day than usual, even though Fulton didn't want to be strict to the teens, but he's forced too. Sharay's is pushy, selfish, spoiled, and a complete drama queen.

Where's all on your/my own from Sofia the first?
From what I get the impression: Female villians apparently don't like to sing and play with their victims....
I honestly don’t think confrontation should be here. It is one of my favorite duets and one of my favorite les mis songs, but I really don’t consider Javert to be a villain.
Aww come on guys where is Feed Me from Little Shop of Horrors the Duet with Audrey 2 and Seymore.
