Damn I'm an idiot!

One of my all-time favorite NHL names was Hakan Loob. One of the most fun NHL names to say: Jeff Beukeboom. And in last year's draft, we had Will Smith, Hunter Hell, Hunter Mayo, and.... Will Vote.

Ron Tugnutt stopped 70 of 73 shots against the Bruins in Boston in a 3-3 tie. At the end of the game, Bruins defenseman Ray Bourque (who scored one of the goals while taking 19 shots on goal) skated up to Ron and told him, "Take a bow. They're cheering for YOU".

⁠@@lamelistsMiro Šatan, pronounced Sha’tan, slight correction, the first syllable is stressed, not the second. A surname that doesn’t draw any attention in Slovakia or Czech Republic. Fun fact that nobody cares about is that I played against Miro in junior leagues, another one was Palo Demitra who tragically died on THAT flight from Yaroslavl to Minsk. Both were exceptional talents from the very young age, almost unstoppable on the ice.

My pronunciation has never been great, I just know it's not Satan :) You may say nobody cares about that fact, but I do. I remember Demitra well, a lot of great players on that ill-fated flight. If you could even come close to keeping up with them, you must have been pretty good!

I can't believe you missed out Gregg McKegg! One of the funnest names to say regardless of the sport.
