Another great video Slava!! You are giving us the information that is of the most interest to most viewers. I am so happy you have so many subscribers and so many views!!! You deserve it, you give us important information in a way to compare one city and one sector of the economic community. Everything is a trade off. You may not be making the most money, but you have a lot as far as peace of mind are concerned. Think about using your experience and acquired knowledge to create a consulting group to assist in doing business with American companies. You have friends in this area and you understand how to help new companies make the most of their contacts. My best to you!!

I lived in Murmansk for 1 year. It's an interesting city. But there are polar nights from autumn to spring. That is, it means that the day does not come, it is always dark. Polar night is a period when the sun does not appear over the horizon for more than 24 hours (that is, more than a day). And in summer - on the contrary, there are polar days, this is when night does not come :)

I am a Filipino and very pleased with this video. I was amazed that such opportunities exist in Russia. Almost all of 30 years of my job stints as an accountant were in the Philippines and abroad, a big part of which was in the Middle East and Africa. None of these job opportunities were advertised in our country. Then and even now, a high percentage of the Filipino workforce prefer overseas jobs. Russia fascinates me and, no doubt, I could have the chance to work there had these opportunities been made known earlier in my life. I am now retired enjoying my senior years here in my beautiful country.

Some news reports are speculating $7.00 @ gallon for gas in the US may not be far away, especially around major cities. If it were not for state and federal taxes, gas would be even cheaper. The US used to be a net-exporter of energy. Sadly, that is no longer true. The Keystone Pipeline with Canada was shut-down. Fracking permits were severely cut-back. More areas off-shore were designated as federal property, and the cost of drilling licenses has risen sharply, as have the taxes on production from these licenses.

So i have much more lefts rather european people who have similar salary. I think my $8000 is equivalent to $12000-$14000 in europe. But previous few years (2017-2021) i had smaller salary $3000-$5000/m. I still grow as engineer. I think average salary in russia of a middle developer is $3000-4000/m after tax.

It is not how high or low the nominal denomination of your wage is. It is what it can buy you. If cost of living in Russia is lower than in US, then is hard to judge. Do vid on what each of those top professions can buy you? What kind of house, car, or girlfriend. Where can you afford to eat? Where can you afford to vacation? Where do Russians like to vacation besides Sochi?

As always, important video. Yes Russian salaries are low because the local product prices are also low. But in the last year and this one, Lebanon salaries are divided by 10 to 15 times (USD equivalent), where the product prices some following the $ and others one half of local food become cheaper than Rus. An idea the salaries for normal professions is between 55$ to 100$ per month. where on 2019 and before it was 800 to 1600$. Sure we have some companies pay in $ for engineers and salary become between 3000 and 6000$ per month

Very intresting. I knew what some of the rough salaries were in Russia but not that detailed. In the US particularly the Midwest where I'm from in Michigan specifically Metropolitan Detroit the suburbs in a predominantly what they would call high-end wealthy suburb Oakland County. As a small business owner in the home remodeling trade with only 2 other employees who are highly skilled professionals I make about 25 to 35 of my small companies gross income. Mind you this is doing mostly kitchen remodels, bathroom remodel larger Home Project's. So typically we make $350,000 to $400,000 per year and my business partner and I will make anywhere between $80,000 to $110,000 per person per year on average. So that's about $6,750 to $9,250 a month.. I would be curious to find out what a Tradesman in the residential / business remodeling who owns his own business makes in some of the larger Russian cities like Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg as a comparison. If you know anyone who does that kind of work and you have some info let me know, very interesting short video.
