Great video. The Joe Louis segment was the 3 best minutes of any boxing tribute footage I've ever seen - simply sensational. It does make sense to have quite a few 190 - 210 pounders in there because this is the range where optimal power and leverage can be used to maximum advantage. The bigger guys struggle against their own levers and weight sometimes. Having said that, people like Joshua and the later day Foreman will always make these lists because the sheer size and explosiveness will be sufficient to annihilate anyone.

Yeah I thought he was wack because he faced mainly white fighters, unlike rocky Marciano who fought everyone. In an era with mediocre fighters though. But I changed my mind hoe Louis is a true champ. He was fast and strong and crafty too. I got caught up with what Ali said about Louis, how he’s slow and stiff. But if you pay attention he’s very agile. And he’s reflexes are impeccable. I never seen a hw like him. I thought Liston deserved to be higher because he was a monster, and Tyson because he was the greatest. But I decided this list is a great mesurement of all these great fighters accomplishments and strength.

Although the Liston bouts against Patterson were mercifully brief, watching those haymakers that did take Floyd out was enough to inspire a sympathetic pain. It takes a special kind of persona to wish to become a fighter.

Greatest knockout artist any weight, all time = Joe Louis. Body blows, shots upstairs to head, straight right, overhand right, jab, hook, uppercut. ...you name it; Louis threw it in text book, step by step, proper fashion to do the most possible damage on your opponent. Nobody put his punches together in rhythm to hurt an opponent better than Joe Louis did. Joe was taught by the legendary Jack Blackburn. Best trainer in boxing history. Ray Arcel trainer of greats like Benny Leonard, Ezzard Charles, Larry Holmes, Roberto Duran, and many other terrific boxers praised Blackburn. So did Eddie Futch. Eddie sparred with Louis. Futch was fast and small compared to Louis, and Joe worked with Futch training to try to avoid punches. Sharpening his defensive skills and his reflexes. Want to learn how to box throwing punches in proper fashion in order to win fights and kick ass in the ring? Watch Joe Louis.

Thought-provoking list. As far as one-punch KO power, I'd have to go with Big George, although Liston came very close and had the better jab. For combination punching, and the union of speed and power, Louis and Tyson in their primes are hard to top, although Dempsey's knocking on the door. Great video. Thanks for posting it.

Great job and nice video..I suggest to use Brave Browser so you can receive tips (money) in BAT token, more worth than youtube...however is very difficult everytime you try to do a list about this...I think that it's objectively true that your is a list of the best and a lot of watchers will agree, but if we put the boxers in order is subjectively...so I agree with you about names but in order for me is: 1) Marciano 2) Louis 3) Foreman ...

Wonderful video! Though, in my opinion, George Foreman have to be the second number after Joe Louis. And one more remark: you shouldn't describe Max Schmeling as a representative of the Nazi German. In fact he was a nice guy, which was unlucky enough to be borned in bad time and in bad place.

Can't really agree with the entire order, but you got them all - Shavers, Foreman, Rocky and the oft-overlooked Liston. He may have the hardest jab in heavyweight history. Joe Frazier is also an underrated puncher, but I won't split that hair. Good video!
