It's not even a contest. The supposed "hardest" part of Free Bird is incredibly mundane compared to all of the other songs featured here. Bark at the Moon, Light that Blinds, Operation Ground and Pound and even Impulse of all things are all way harder than Free Bird

It's Dragonforce, what do you expect? This is their first album song. If it was My Spirit Will Go On, oh boy, that'd be hell on expert. And this video has a one song per band rule, but he broke it on purpose or accident, or just bending rules. It's probably all on the fret work. I do agree with This Day We Fight is tough, but it's all hammer offs and pull offs. Fury of the Storm makes number because, well, imagine holding down one fret for a set amount of time. That's gotta hurt over time. You dont have to agree or agrue with me. This is just my opinion. So... yeah.

Idk which is more impressive, these people playing the songs on the game or the people playing the songs in real life.

BTW: I have Fury Of The Storm higher than TTFATF because once you get the intro tapping on TTFATF, It is an easy pass. TTFATF on Warriors Of Rock would be harder than FOTS, But the WoR engine is ridiculous. In GH3 you have up to a 0.33 second window to hit notes. In World Tour & WoR, it's more like a 0.1- 0.12. In GH2, It is more like 0.08. On top of that, Trogdor makes the FC list because if the solo strumming, a section that I believe to be harder than the Red Snake, Solo B & C of Jordan, and even the entire Fury Of the Storm solo.

When there is a light on the note you can "tap" that means that you dont have to use the strum bar and that you can just press the buttons :) This technique also exists for real guitars where you can play the higher note without strumming again, it works the same for gh

Fury of the Storm is actually harder than TTFaF, but not Devil went down to Georgia. If you haven't noticed it's extremely easy to fail in GH3. When in green, I miss 10 consecutive notes in GH3 and you fail compared to +20 in GHWoR. It's a big difference that you don't really notice, but I actually like that handicap because it helps BKs stay alive when I play quickplay online.

Jazz Walker The Smash Hits version probably ties with the Rock Band Blitz version in terms of difficulty. I'd love to see a Top 20 encompassing both franchises, but it would have to be limited to on-disc songs because including DLC would get out of hand.

Simon VS Games I have, and it's more or less the same as TTFAF. Yes it has a couple hard parts, but once you can hit them, then the song's a piece of cake. The Devil is just one difficult solo the entire song. I can beat both without star power, so once you're pro like me, you can easily beat them. And personally, I think Buckethead is the the hardest in this list.

idk about you, but I notice that Jordan is the one and only song in any guitar hero game for me that I still rely on star power with just to merely pass it, though 90% of that happening is due to the GH2 engine

You obviously have never played these songs if u think fury of the storm is harder than devil went down to Georgia, there is a 1.5 min solo in fury that's really not to difficult finger pattern wise, but in devil there's 2 2 min solos that have some crazy finger patterns

I actually got through Devil Went Down To Georgia before I could finish THrough the FIre and Flames, but I do agree with number 1. That tap part just goes on for eternity....

I've completed every song on expert apart from the devil goes down to georgia, fury of the storm is easy, there is nothing complex to it, literally nothing, black widow of porte is harder due to the web spinning, tffaf has it's complex parts which no other songs have, but fury of the storm... Everything is so basic it's just fast, it's all up and down on the buttons i usually get 93-94% no trouble passing it at all. You just need to practice. Once you've completed all the songs at least on Gh3 and warriors of rock then i don't think you could accurately say what is hard and what isn't. I agree that fury of the storm if physically draining with it's speed but theres no trouble beating it, just takes a little bit of effort sliding your hands up and down with some intense strumming.

10. I could FC that on my 3rd try that was the only hard part of the song 9. I have to agree because there were hard parts but not the whole song 8. I think this should be higher up on the list because it's hammer ons the whole song 7. It's not that hard of a song to FC 6. personally I think Jordan is the hardest song, only because its the only song where I am on the verge of failing every time I play even with full star power. it also doesn't help that its harder to see notes in GH2

The guitar at 3:10, my first one. Took me forever quite a few years ago to get up to 15 bucks, got a beat up one at a small pawn shop. Chewed up wammy, missing pieces, stickers and glue stuck to it. Still works. And it's the wii version. Tore up cord still works. Been playing for years....old skool GH forever

the ones that are glowing dont need to be strummed however if you miss one of those you need to strum again to be able to hit them normally

I'm glad people still care about guitar hero.

They are called "Hammer ons" and "Pull offs", where you strum the guitar before a chain of notes, then you just tap away.
