Yup! Lily D, the doll. She’s one of my favorite villains in that series. My other fav villains are Kaptain Krazy and the other clowns from Afraid of Clowns, Fear from Fear Never Knocks, Jake Skinner from the Body, (or is it Dead Body?) Big Yellow, and the Dreamcatcher monster from Dreamcatcher. ^.^

I’m surprised the creeps from calling all creeps didn’t make this list or at least an honorable mention, they’re so iconic However it’s impossible to argue with the fact you’re right that the three most memorable and iconic creatures from the series are the original haunted mask, the werewolf of fever swamp, and slappy.

I knew Slappy would be number 1.

I've read that Slappy is inspired by both Pinocchio and Chucky from *Child's Play* and I wouldn't be surprised if he was also inspired by the haunted Annabelle doll that was investigated by paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

The librarian from the school where the girl's parents end up being monsters themselves. The whole eating bugs got to me. Freaked me out as a kid.

The Masked Mutant was too goofy in the TV series. He was portrayed more as a pantomime villain wearing a costume that is a cheesy ripoff of superheroes/villains from the 1960s compared to his book counterpart.

The horror at camp jellyjam was not made into a episode

The horrors from One Day at Horrorland, and the zombies from Welcome to Dead House should've made the list imo! And while I love the Haunted Mask out of all the goosebumps books, I agree that slappy should be #1. It wouldn't be goosebumps without Slappy.

@@k.l.a.u.s. there kinda corny now but the episodes still hold up if you give them a chance.....some I would recommend are: The Haunted Mask(Both 1 & 2) Monster Blood(Only Pt.1 Pt 2 is not like the second book) All the Night Of The Living Dummys Horrorland Let's Get Invisible Attack Of The Mutant And Stay Out Of The Basement (Bonus Say Cheese and Die, was first rule for young Channing tatum(or Ryan Gosling) on of these two)

I also have Welcome To Horrorland. And some Horrorland books. Hopefully you will get them and the DVDs, too. ^_^ What other monsters do you love? ^^

Omg Kat I love your work as Bloody Mary. Your voice carry the come-hither seductive trance and the demented side of that horror character seriously I would have been surprised I think made a sequel to The Wolf Among Us you rock

The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight is my favorite Goosebumps book, partially because it was the first I read, also I think these guys look creepy as hell

I have never read Goosebumps or seen the show, the dummy and the clown are the scariest creatures, the dummy more than the clown because I'm more scared of dummy's and dolls than clowns, all because of Goosebumps and seeing parts of a Chucky movie when I was younger.

I bet the Mummy books were all inspired the Universal Monsters *The Mummy* series from the 1930s along with the discovery of King Tut's tomb and its curse.

Goosebumps is a big part of my childhood. And Slappy deserves Number 1, he is my most favorite Goosebumps character and is so funny and scary.

Night of the living dummy 3 was my favorite of the night of the living dummy movies.

DEE DEE, GET OFFA WATCHMOJO! Just wanted to say that. XD But yeah, she should be casted in more cartoons, considering her most iconic role.

I grew up watching goosebumps when I was a kid this video was awesome.

The movies could be really scary if they tried. Ik the show was for kids but when I watched the show it still is scarier than the movie. They could make a slappy movie like pg13 at least or the haunted mask

I remember watching the haunted mask as a kid. It would scare me shitless every time, no matter how many times I watched the episode. Specialy the scene where the masks chase the girl. Haha the cgi was terrible and was the scene that scared me the most. It still gives me GOOSEBUMPS.

There’s a tv show? I’ve read heaps of the books I haven’t read them in years, and as you were describing the plots of each story i got so much nostalgia haha

The Masked Mutant is one of my favorites. I hate how he is not as often thought of when people think of most memorable villains of the series.

Before Slappy became the face of Goosebumps. there was another character who was big in the 90s. Curly the skeleton. he appeared on lots of advertisement and videos and even on the cover of the short stories. Its sad he never got an actual book, I had fun making ideas of what that would've been like

i remember watching the mask when i was in kindergarden it had so muc nostalgia to me whole lot of memories

I read somewhere that Annick Obonsawin voiced Slappy in the TV show (Wikipedia said she also played Sari Hassad from the Mummy books). Funny, the only other thing I saw her in had her playing a crazed stalker with a crush. And yet, her character was still very intelligent and capable.

yep totally my fave too because of how incredibly well the story was written and the details of the movie which made the first ever episode of the goosebumps tv series amazing! for real though the haunted mask 2 i thought was so much scarier than original seeing that haunted mask take over the shopkeeper and egg on steve to scare carly beth! i watch both of em every halloween and then get nightmares all over again :)

The little gnomes in the Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes used to scare the shit outta me, I hated looking at that book. Also the dog on The Barking Ghost was pretty bad too, lol.
