The voice of Slappy was provided by Avery Lee Jones, who also puppeteered the dummy in the Goosebumps film and its sequel. He actually has a KZread channel: @insidemybrain.

I'm glad people are starting to come around with regards to this Slappy. He's unsettling in the sense that he looks completely harmless, but we all know how sadistic and rude he is. Plus, his voice is exactly how I imagined it should be. Much as I love previous Slappys, this one is by far my favourite and I can't wait to see this movie.

the trailers need more slappy....he's briefly shown. in the car, and laughing. that's it... (from what I've seen so far)

I love how Slappy looks more like how he's described in the book. However, I wish they kept his green eyes. It would have made him really creepy.

I actually like Slappy's voice. It's a lot different than what I expected him to sound like but I really like how he sounds here. It fits him. I love how he looks now as well :)

I know right? Batman is a hero. And a vigilante. Sure he can be intimidating, and kind of a jerk, but he’s not evil. He’s a great detective, and has great martial arts skills. And has a lot of great tech. Unlike Slappy, who’s insane, and evil. No one can be Batman. Except for Bruce Wayne himself, and Terry McGinnis (from Batman Beyond) And Nightwing (Dick Grayson. I think) I think Slappy would be more like the Joker, and the Riddler. And kind of like Scarface.

How is slapping the dummy even talking and how is he moving? He must be a computer inside

I believe that is the doll they are using in the film. Personally, I think he is creepier than the one they used in the tv show mainly because he looks more like how he's described in the books. Also, he blinks, which I think is a plus.

You're both right! Jack did Slappy's voice for the movie itself but anywhere else you see/hear Slappy (interviews, commercials, TV appearances) that was all me! :D
