I have seen Godzilla Minus One more than 10 times. But I still cannot tell you my favorite scene. I love all of them for their own rights. I loved the scene of the Godzillasaurus on Odo Island, The characters and their relationships with one another, Godzilla being a pure evil creature, and everything else. It is my favorite Godzilla movie right behind the original 1954 film. But my favorite scene was the Ginza attack. Hearing the Godzilla theme nd the Mothra vs. Godzilla theme blast through the theater made me start crying with joy. I wish that Minus One could go back to theaters, because the experience was amazing.

Just watched the film, it was so incredible to finally see a Godzilla film made by the ones who brought him to life in the first place. Everything about Godzilla's design in the film was amazing. (Even if his face looked a bit goofy at times, but it adds character) His Atomic Breath was actually breathtaking (terrible pun intended) & terrifying. Koichi & Noriko's relationship was beautifully done, the music was outstanding. This was is definitely the best Godzilla film I've seen. Although, I'll be honest I haven't seen much of them, just Minus One, 1998 & The MonsterVerse (Please don't compare Minus One & The Monsterverse, I hate it when people do that, both are great & are two completely different styles). I plan to watch Shin Godzilla because I heard it is one of the best & most terrifying versions of Godzilla. I'll also probably watch some of the og Toho Godzilla movies. Really wish I got the chance to see this movie in cinemas when it came out here in Ireland. Would've been an incredible experience.

This was such a magnificent picture. I love how we have this Shades of Godzilla dynamic going on between Toho and Legendary right now, where we’re getting this beautiful, dark as hell, serious rumination on the original symbolism he represented and the pressure release of finally confronting the sociological and psychological cost of war and nuclear attacks on the survivors of WW2, as well as a celebration of the goofier, action-packed, badass, just plain fun with a touch of environmental impact dissertation at the same time. Toho is handling the deeper, more terrifying aspects of Big G and what he was designed to invoke, and Hollywood is letting us have the supersized fights, cheesy dialogue, and ridiculously, unapologetically hammy monster movies so many of us grew up watching. They’re reminding us why Godzilla is to be feared, and here we’re able to invoke his more heroic depictions alongside a rogues gallery of allies, rivals, and villains. We’re blessed to get the best of both worlds right now, and I’m eager to see the next chapters in both stories. I can’t wait to add the Minus One dvd to my Godzilla shelf :)

I think it’s very interesting how Minus One got popular. Most movies today get popular because of hype and mass marketing. But Minus One got popular in a more retro (and better) way. Its success was mainly due to word of mouth and how people told other people about just how amazing it is. Movies getting success and becoming popular in this fashion isn't as common as it was in the 20th century and stuff. So it's cool how this movie's popularity was spread in this fashion

@@derrickhaggard true, but let's think about the end of Shin Godzilla, there were monstrous looking humanoid Godzillas spawning from the end of his tail, that right there was something I was looking forward in seeing in a possible sequel, which they chose NOT to do for some dumb reason.

Godzilla’s attack on Gina was my favorite moment! I was in awe of the scale comparison between him, the humans, and the city. Accompanied with the classic Godzilla theme, the intense atmosphere, and the spectacular display of the Atomic Breath/Ray, that sequence alone was worth seeing on the big screen!

For me one of my favorite scenes was when he was first charging and then used his breath attack. That whole build up gave me goosebumps. I have been a huge fan of Godzilla since I was kid. I loved the 2014 one where they went old school and showed his spines charge like they did in the original movies. So I was curious about the Minus One charge up and it did not disappoint!!!

I read on Wikipedia that after finishing his film The Great War of Archimedes (2019), Takashi Yamazaki was appointed to make a Godzilla film. He spent three years writing the script, taking influence from Godzilla (1954), Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001), Shin Godzilla (2016), and the films of Steven Spielberg and Hayao Miyazaki.

And yes Kaiju/Human hybrids/humanoid Kaiju are a thing in this long-running series with the tragic main villainess of Godzilla vs. Biollante Biollante herself being a Kaiju/Human hybrid being created from the fusion of Rose DNA, the DNA of the deceased Erica Shimazawa, and G-Cells, and the humanoid Kaiju figures trying to come out of Shin Godzilla's tail when this version of Godzilla was frozen solid.
