I've got a few more logging mod videos if you take a look at the channel, I also just did a let's play with the new R960 mod by Kenny456 and I am in love with it. I was finally able to harvest directly into a trailer.

Just so you know, For the skidding crane in the forest pack you can rotate the claw by turning crablock on (LB+A)

It's really a great informative video. I have been wanting to do some logging. Thank you so much.

I really like the "logger trailer" mod for semis. It has a nice gap in the middle that's also lower so you can load or unload the logs easily. It can carry 12m logs or two stacks of 6s. I have some of the HW80 trailers to but I wasn't a big fan. They get squirrely when loading or they are left loaded but not attached to a vehicle. I've had them randomly roll away if on a slight slope. They are great for the price, especially if you need multiple trailers, just keep a tractor connected.

Do the tree harvesters only work with some trees im new to the game just trying to figure some things out so far im enjoying this game

Yes, it's only going to be the taller straight trees. Spruce, and Pines. There will also be diameter limits on the harvesters that may keep them from working with the largest trees. Welcome!

Yes, I have been liking No Man's Land, especially for forestry testing and showcasing.

I was litterally going "Whaaaaaaat?!" when I saw that strap on the first log! GOTTA get that!

I know! It's the handiest tool ever! It's also great for righting tractors and equipment if you flip it.

That Big bag handler is a "must have" for logging. It's also great for moving almost anything else. The only downside is you can't unload a trailer with them because it grabs the trailer too.

@@vxry. I really like the "logger" trailer for semis that's a mod. It has a gap in the middle of the uprights that makes loading and unloading easier. The Liebherr 902 is a inexpensive excavator that works well for logging. It doesn't have the auto grab feature and it can't cut the biggest spruce trees but it's great for the money. The mod includes several attachments including a dozer blade. Those are the main ones I've used so far, I'm still pretty new to FS22.

90cm is nothing compared to an Impex at 120cm so anything for forestry that's a 120cm or bigger blade that's easier to use than an Impex? also my Fav Logging mod is Wood Crane its a LIFE CHANGER!

They are available on PC too, but you would be better off with lumberjack and/or easy dev tools. Unless you are looking for a realistic playstyle.

@@LoneWolfHeroGaming thanks a lot for these tips, o have platinum but i will play with some friends that only have game pass so they dont have any of the chaim productions for logging or best tools. And i love this branch of the game. Do you have any other mods to share for forestry for console?

Are you using it on pc or console? It seemed like the controls were very touchy for me on xbox.
