So if Zelda gets her own game, will it be called Legend of Link?

Anyone else think a game centered around Princess Peach and how she actually orchestrates her own rescue even from behind the bars of her prison in Bowser's Castle would be badass?!

Paper Mario (N64) has a plot that somewhat accomplishes that. It's an odd mix of stealth and various puzzles. Super Princess Peach has her saving the Mushroom Kingdom as well as Mario and Luigi - albeit with help from an umbrella and the powers of PMS. I would totally love a Princess Peach game expanding on her gameplay in Paper Mario and PM: The Thousand Year Door. It'd be even better if they made the 'Your Princess is in another castle' line relevant because she just escaped said castle only to be transported to a new one.

Then how would you feel about a Kid Icarus *movie?* One that show Pit's origins/why he's the last angel, Palutena showing her motherly side towards him and Hades appearing after the credits while ranting about why wasn't he in the movie when Medusa was the antagonist.

I think Daisy should get some type of spin off game. She just kinda appeared in the Mario universe during the Nintendo 64 era and was never really properly introduced. All these years later, and there's still really not much character development or background to her and I think a spin off game for her could be interesting.

Um, her first appearance was in "Super Mario Land" for the original Game Boy. If you want Mario characters who appeared out of nowhere, try Waluigi in "Mario Tennis" (N64) and Toadette in "Mario Kart: Double Dash" (GameCube).

Zelda already has a spin-off adventure. It's called Zelda: the Wand of Gamelon, and it was made for the Phillips CDI. However, it is admittedly super shitty.

Zelda was the playable character in those CD-I games, but I understand why you aren't counting those.

Mona Sax from Max Payne, Isabelle Angelina of Freedom Fighters, Hellfire from Serious Sam 4. Meryl Silverburgh of Metal Solid Gears, Cassie Drake from Uncharted, Victoria From Hitman Absolution.

I agree that Zelda, Rosalina, and Carmelita Fox should get their own spin-off.

Kairi from kingdom hearts popped on my mind. And I agree with Cassie from Uncharted. I had Elena in my mind, but I like this idea best. Sonia from the Mortal Kombat definitely needs her own series. Harley Quinn from the Batman series is a total win in my book. Princess Palutena from the Kid Icarus series could use her own series. I love the idea of Zelda getting her own kick ass series as well. Chun Li definitely needs her own series. She's my favorite in Street Fighter. and no online exclusive shit either. and the last person that pops in my mind is Elizabeth from the Bioshock series. there needs to be more games with a female lead spin off. that would be awesome!!

Harley Quinn had her own movie(s) and two of them were trash so the should just make a suicide squad game and just let you play as her or shiva

Kazooie: Without her, Banjo couldn't do much much of anything, as proved through the first level or so in Grunty's Revenge on the Game Boy Advance. Even the best moves in the series require Kazooie to be used (Flight, Wonderwing, Talon Trot, Egg Shooting, Running Shoes/Turbo Trainers). Kairi: Since she has the ability to wield a Keyblade why we don't have a game with her training to be as good as her friends? Elaine Marley-Threepwood: Being the wife of a mighty pirate, I'm sure there's a lot of adventures and puzzles she's also been through, especially with the 9 year gap between Escape and Tales both in-game and in real life Also, why Rosalina in the Honorable Mentions? What about Daisy?!

I would love a new Super Princess Peach, but with more traditional gameplay & power-ups as well as playable Daisy & Rosalina with their own unique abilities...maybe Toadette as well. I like the sound of a Zelda game where you play AS Zelda,, but fuck the Witcher style combat that shit is too awkward IMO also: Black Orchid ( Killer Instinct series ) Lucina ( Fire Emblem Awakening ) Jody Summer ( F-Zero series ) Krystal ( Star Fox series ) Rouge ( Sonic series )

You forgot the most important detail about Chun Li: She's the ORIGINAL female fighter in the series!

"legend of Zelda the lost hero" Ganondorf or vatti or some other villain hears a prophecy or a vision of a hero who will destroy them so they kidnap link as a child and brainwash him and keep him hidden for many years and when said villain tries to take over Hyrule the Princess sets out to free the hero and destroy villain.

*Legend* of Zelda, that's why. a spinoff as Zelda would be cool, but it couldnt be a traditional Zelda game.. what would Link be doing while you play as Zelda? You need Triforce of Wisdom and Courage to defeat Power, so either Link would come swooping in dealing the killing blow in the last act, or she would have a less impressive adventure.

Seeing how badly history went for him each time he tried the "kidnap/kill princess* route, Ganon went for Link instead - kidnapping the kid before he ever got the chance of developing his powers/training? It would be up to Zelda to get to him and reunite the pieces of the triforce. Or... Seeing how badly history went each freaking time, Hyrule's royal family gives baby Zelda away as a newborn, so she's raised away from the castle, hidden from evil? Back in the Hyrulean army, Link is already a seasoned warrior fighting against Ganondorf, the castle is about to fall, and nothing can be done unless Zelda makes an appearance? BOOM, there you have Zelda's journey to awakening her powers, and getting reunited with Link for a final battle. Link could easily take a background role in that, like Zelda does in some games. Have her rekt Ganon's butt with light arrows, place a beaten up Link piercing his head with the master sword like in the Wind Waker at the last minute (something he could have not accomplished if Zelda hadn't paved the way?). A couple of options I came up with in some seconds. I am SURE a whole team devoted to the game's development can come with an idea to give her an awesome game in the series lol Of course, Zelda's game should be called "The Legend of Link". So those who don't know the game will get to point at her and say "OH HEY IS THAT LINK?!". No. She isn't.

Dude a sheik/Zelda game would be fucking badass it could be like a Sonic unleashed game were at night shiek would be a stealth ninja completing quests and stealthy taking enemies down like in Batman Arkham series and the morning Zelda would be able to interact with others and obtain things to do while have a similarish fighting style to Hyrule Warriors ( reply if u think different)

Rosalina would be the perfect candidate to get her own game. The first Super Mario Galaxy did great at introducing her character portrayal but she has had so much untapped potential ever since. And we were barely lucky enough to have her story put into that game at all. Being really the only Mario character with such a fleshed out backstory greatly contrasts her from the rest of the cast. Because she matches up so well with the themes of Galaxy, that could be used as a starting foundation for her independent entry without any inherent effect on the rest of the universe. After all, she essentially has the presence of a goddess-like figure in the Mario universe so she can practically have any abilities and go anywhere in space. I believe that when Koizumi created her, there was likely some intention to break boundaries and expand the scope of the Mario franchise as a direct challenge to Miyamoto's tried and true philosophies.

I honestly think that Sonya Blade and Chun-Li would have really cool spin-off games

Ellie kinda had her own spin off already, and any deficiency is going to be covered by the sequel where she's most likely the protagonist. Her friend Riley would've been more interesting option IMO.

I would like the Street Fighter game based on Chun-Li but isn't that why there are usually different stories depending on how you finish the story as a specific character? Zelda should get her own game that doesn't include CD-i, hopefully the DLC for BOTW is based around Zelda mostly.

I really want a Ciri focused game. It could take place during the time between the books ended and Witcher 3.

A Carmelita Fox game would be epic - but Sly Cooper is now dead as a doornail. 4 was honestly the biggest letdown of any videogame series I've played. I was ecstatic when it came out and shocked when no one was talking about it... then I played it and my heart broke.
