We're all about guitar and she's been at the top of our playlists for several years and has her own "Best of" playlist on our channel. That's guitar God country with players like Duane Allman, Prince, Frank Zappa, Mick Taylor and a handful of others. For those not familiar think of the resulting child of a Janis Joplin and Stevie Ray union. She's just an incredible talent-singer, songwriter and guitarist. That being said, we like everybody on your list and would recommend viewers check out more of Sister Rosetta Tharpe. She's a truly historic figure in music and an extremely influential guitar player. Wow! These women are all amazing. I didn't realize there were so many mind-blowing talented women. However, they forgot to mention my favorite...Samantha Fish!

How about no not only no but hell no, she mostly played a few intros. She couldn't tune the guitars for some of the female rock guitarists today.

I think Heart Nancy Wilson is spot on for this list! She's an amazing guitarist, singer and has given us some amazing riffs!

@Russ Dean Maybe you're correct. I must confess, a lot of their great riffs go to the guys but surely after she replaced (I forget which one) she has to be given credit for some great riffs. Just my opinion. Again, I may not be as "up to speed" as you but, I'm pretty sure she's had her fair share of great tunes.

She was great at dropping to her knees when the solos started... but she wasn't playing them! The Wilson girls were the face of the band.. the guys did the guitar work...

.. just wante&wanted to remember lead guitar Kelly Johnson from Girlschool.. shy, humble, yet creative when u hear her "go through the gears" , on the motorcycle Lets Go, , made shredding hard rocking look easy..
