You know what really makes Gamma's death sad? The fact that Amy says she hopes she'll meet him again and, shortly after Gamma dies, she's fighting Zero in that exact same arena. She never knows what happened to her robotic friend.

Yeah you know the egg dragoon fight is good since it was brought back in sonic generations and sonic forces

The funny part is that I was expecting that when you said it was worth getting to the final fight of '06, I thought you were going to then say, "Except for Elise" and then comment about the infamous kiss. XD

This video is how I found out how to finish off Zavok in Sky Road Act 4. I was wondering why he wasn't falling off the freaking dragon. Great video overall too.

Personally I would have the put either the egg viper or the egg emperor in the list. Both of them are phenomenal fights!

In my personal opinion I would have put egg dragoon generations on my list. I felt as if it was better suited to fight normal sonic rather than werehog sonic. The fight was also much more challenging (to me).

I would put master zik on this list because of how fun the boss was and did not do water mechanics with a 2d platform

When Solaris came back he looks like the symbol on the Master Sword in skyward sword the game

How to beat Sonic/Shadow in Adventure 2: Just time a Lightspeed Dash on the central row of rows of rings. If your opponent uses Chaos Control, you can time it so they spawn at the end of the row and your Lightspeed Dash counts as a hit if you touch them during it. It's... Not really that hard (or good, in my personal opinion) of a boss

My opinion on each entry on this list 10. Never played Sonic Lost World 9. I did play Sonic & Knuckles, but I only completed it playing as Knuckles. 8. I enjoyed this fight quite a lot 7. I wish I had played Sonic 4 Episode 2. It looks like a great game. The only Metal Sonic fight I have ever faced is the one in Generations. 6. A ridiculously easy & short fight if you know what you're doing, but I still adore it for everything else. Definitely one of my favorite final battles in the Sonic series. Also the finisher is amazing. 5. It has remained as my favorite boss battle in the Sonic series for 4 years, & it is still my favorite to this very day. 4. I love this fight so much. 3. Even though I can't say I'm a huge fan of Generations, this fight was awesome. 2. My favorite normal boss in the Sonic series. 1. I enjoyed this fight, though it is not one of my favorites. Great list.

Great list! I love how you don't hate on '06 for no reason like everyone else. Gotta say though, it is criminal to not have Final Hazard on this list. And even more criminal for it to not be number 1!!

Great list! I agree with a lot of the bosses on there, epecially number 1! I was personally never a big fight of any of the Deadly Six fights, but that might be just because I played the 3DS version of the game.

Most of the Deadly Six battles aren't that special, but there are ones that do stand out.

In my opinion I might have put silvers fight as number 1 but still I really agree with you here

The White Park Zone Metal Sonic fight, I think, was used, albeit in 3D mode, for Metal Sonic's Generations battle.

Yeah remember E101 Beta MK ll quite fondly for that rather sad ending to Gamma's story.. but I did like the Design of the Egg Dragoon, not everything in Unleashed was awful.

My personal favourite Genesis boss is the Mecha Sonic encounter with Knuckles. I just like the fact that Mecha Sonic has a super form which is very rare for a not main character.

You mean in the number transitions? That's not a boss. It's Sonic jumping onto the Egg Carrier. Though it does lead up to a boss, the Egg Wyvern.

My favourite bosses in sonic series is egg beetle. It actually pretty good.

My fave is hard to pick but off the bat i'd say Nega Wisp Armor from Sonic Colors.

And Perfect Dark gaia? I think it was more challenging, long and epic than the final boss of colors

I beat the whole game of sonic colours IT WAS SO FUN I LOVE THAT ONE TOO

If my boss was in the game, I think it would be cool. My character doesn’t want to hurt anybody, but she is forced to due to the return of her brother, Ratchet. Alopex Scadgt, the Devil from Hell, had her brother brainwashed and taken away. Alopex knew it was Eggman, but since Sonic and his friends did nothing to help since they thought SHE was evil, she blamed them. Luckily, after the fight with her, and when Sonic is about to make the final blow, Tails stops him by running in front of him. He said not to hurt her because she didn’t want to hurt them, she was afraid, afraid that she would never see her brother again because they were her only help she could get. I think it would be a good boss because of the music, attack patten, her backstory and design. Besides, during the fght with Dr. Eggman, Alopex sees the fight getting worst. And at that moment, when Eggman was finally about to take down Sonic, they’re rescued by Alopex and then you play as her to finish the fight. The music is called “A Rebel With Class". And if Sega ever reads this comment, hopefully they’ll create this character and this new Sonic game called Sonic Oblivion. Anyways, Alopex was the princess born by King Lucifer and Queen Hera, alongside her twin jackal brother. Ratchet basically is a Lucario, but I couldn’t think of any other design. My profile picture is Alopex, but she has massive dragon wings, 30 fox tails and a red pentagram collar. When they were born, demons and angels once lived peacefully with no worries, until one day when a demon threatened God, causing angels to invade Hell and making an all out war against demons and angels. Lucifer and Hera worried for their children’s safety, so they abandoned them to the surface. Ratchet and Alopex grew and met Eggman. Ratchet trusted him, while Alopex didn’t think he was a friendly guy. This caused Eggman to brainwash Ratchet and force him to attack his own sister, causing Alopex to flee and live alone on Bygone Island from Sonic Boom, yes, this is a Sonic Boom story. As Team Sonic works their way to find Eggman, the word about Ratchet spreads throughout Bygone Island, but Ratchet’s new name is Norrix. Tails said he needed some parts to make an invention and they need to go to an abandoned warehouse. As they go there, Amy notices something moving in the dark and gets scared. Sonic and the others notices this and also see the figure. Sonic calls out to whoever is there, until they hear faint whimpering. Sonic tells the others to stay there as he goes and checks it out. As he peers behind the boxes, he notices a black fox curled up in a ball and crying, who is none other than Alopex herself. Sonic moves in closer, but alarms her and strikes! This causes her to make the Bygone group split up and teleport to different locations. And each location you need to play as either Sonic, Sticks, Tails, Amy or Knuckles until you are reunited and have befriended her. Each fight is different and you must require 5 crystals from the 5 islands to win, but they’re not easy. Sonic vs Alopex: Sonic is teleported to Misty Mountains. As you require the Blue Bloodstone, the ground starts to move as Alopex appears behind him and tries to attack by dashing at him. As Sonic sees Alopex, it’s time to fight! Alopex first uses her spin dash, then her wing attack, then her shockwave. As you defeat her, she teleports away and you get teleported back to Bygone Island. Tails vs Alopex: Tails is teleported to Dark Damen. As you require the Orange Opal, Tails is immediatly attacked by glowing black fists that hit the ground and causes shockwaves, knocking Tails back. You must hit the fists as they get stuck in the ground. Once you win, the cutscene shows a photo of her and Ratchet float to Tails' feet. Realizing Alopex was really a good person, she snatchs the picture away and flies away. Knuckles vs Alopex: Knuckles is teleported to Rainfall Ruins. As you require the Red Ruby, Knuckles is surrouned by purple fire as Alopex attacks. To win the fight, you must push Alopex into her own fire. After you win, Alopex growls and slashes the at Knuckles’ chest and runs away. Knuckles is then teleported back to Bygone Island and meets up with Tails and Sonic. Amy vs Alopex: Amy is teleported to Glaior Garden. After you require the Pink Pearl, Alopex appears from the flowers and strikes at Amy then hides back in the garden. To win, Amy must search for her in the bushes. As you win, Alopex is furious and lights the garden on fire and flies away, leaving Amy to be teleported back home. Sticks vs Alopex: Sticks is teleported to Feral Forest. After you require the Brown Bixbite, Alopex circles the forest at high speed, faster than Sonic if she’s furious. She appears on a stump and lashes at Sticks. To win, you must make a tree fall on her. After you win, Alopex is more mad than ever and kicks the tree off her and roars at Sticks with one red glowing eye. She flies away and Sticks goes home. Final fight: Alopex is now teleported back to Bygone Island, where she wants to end Team Sonic for good! When she’s mad, she shows NO mercy at all! As Team Sonic walks through the village, they see Alopex lighting houses on fire and destroying things. Alopex sees Team Sonic and she flees, with Team Sonic on her tails. For the final battle, you must chase her down with all the characters and she uses all the attacks she used for each member of Team Sonic. She throws things at you, slashes you with claws, breathes fire, everything! Until Sonic manages to take her down. For the final cutscene, Alopex is shown crashing into the ground, weak and bruised. As Sonic was about to finish her, Tails stops him, saying she didn’t want to hurt them. This gives her a chance to escape, until she is kicked to the floor by her own brother, Ratchet N. Scadgt… Ratchet vs Alopex & Team Sonic vs Eggman: Yeah, that wasn’t the final battle. Ratchet throws bones at her, causing her to fight back. But Eggman appears and Team Sonic are rescued by Alopex. Final cutscene: After Eggman is defeated, his control over Ratchet breaks, leaving him flying away and Alopex’s twin brother back to normal. Alopex runs up to Ratchet, who slowly backs away. As Alopex fears Ratchet could still be brainwashed, Ratchet hugs his twin sister and they both thanked Team Sonic and join them.

I wish for the end of colors you trered in to super color sonic and after you had all of the wisp from the wisp armor you tern in to hiper color sonic

Agree 99% with this list I would switch the egg dragoon with the egg nega wisp armor I prefered the Dragoon fight more but great list

The best Sonic Boss fight of all time is Solaris. It is also the best of all the Super Sonic fights.

I have no idea... Sure the gameplay is flawed, but the story and character is at its peak

Sonic 4 metal sonic is my favorite battle

10) Haven't played Lost World, but it looks like a decent fight. However, that's barely saying something. 9) Never played that game but the boss can have quite a fight (maybe). 8) Definitely one of Gamma's best moments and battles, but it's not one I'm big of a fan of. 7) Never heard or played the game, so I just ignore it. 6) One of the best moments of Black Knights and a satisfying way to end the game. 5) While Solaris is quite a boss, it's probably not my favorite 06 boss. Which one is it? Mmm. Hard to say. Maybe Iblis 3, Mephiles, or the Egg Cerberus. 4) Haven't played SA2, but I fought the one in Generations. So I'm guessing that counts in some way? 3) One of the best, despite it's short about 2 minutes prior. Gone from a laughing stock and hated rival boss fight to an epic and amazing right boss fight. 2) Oh yeah, the Egg Dragoon is so awesome of the fight, definitely on my top 3 of Sonic Bosses. 1) The Nega Wips Armor, while a good one and devilish looking machine, it doesn't exactly hit my top 5 or maybe 10 that easily.

Opinions 10) Zavok had by far the best fights in Lost World, even in the less superior 3DS Version. Great villain, not as good as Metal Sonic, Eggman, or Mephiles, but still very good. 9) This boss is a bit meh for me. Intimidating but the first and third phases are too easy for me. 8) This is the best fight in Adventure 1. Even better than Egg Viper and Perfect Chaos. 7) I prefer the CD and Heroes battles but this fight is also good. 6) Merlina was kind of meh for me as a character but her fight is good. Not as good as the Bla- I mean Sir Percival battle. 5) This is an amazing fight, but it's a bit easier if you use Shadow and spam Chaos Spear. Another reason as to why I was one of few people who thoroughly enjoyed Sonic 2006 4) OH HELL YES! This fight is so good it almost makes up for the terrible Knuckles vs Rouge and Tails vs Eggman 2 battles 3) THIS IS SILVER BATTLE WE DESERVED SEGA! 2) Great fight. I guess you could say having the Werehog fight Eggman instead of Normal Sonic was a *change of pace* 1) This battle is one of the easiest Sonic final boss battles, but it's still pretty good.

I have the feeling he never played the Genesis games or at least beat them to understand how great the final bosses are, not due to graphics or mechanics, but rather the buildup and the satisfaction your granted to when you actually beat them, ESPECIALLY The Doomsday Zone. When you collected all 7 chaos emeralds you are then rewarded a whole level dedicated to truly stopping robotnik, in this fight you have to use his own misled against him and when he makes a desperate final attempt you have to bash into him just to damage it, you're running low on rings and the along with the great music it speeds up to build intensity and make the situation more dire. To me that is what makes a good ending to a great game like S3&K because you have the option to receive an ending boss that you can be proud of and feel satisfied at the same time.
