I said SH2 was my favrotie, that use to be the consensus I reached in my brain so I could make a definitive statment like that but now I'm still not sure. I started thinking about this more a few years ago when some friends brought up "Jo you say 2 is your favorite but SH3 is the one you keep talking about the most" I think 2 might still be the "best one" imo. It's the one I recommend people play first if they want a taste of the series but have limited free time and all that. It's such a well crafted game, perfectly paced (imo), fucking brillaint, dark, somber, melancholic and emotional game that treats most of it's heavy, dark themes and subject matter with a level of empathy which is more impressive than you may think(especially for the time). It's a game I need to be in a certain mood to replay and re-experience, but when I am, there's no game quite like it (detention and devotion are the closest though, seriously play those games) SH3 though might be my personal favorite. It is 100% visually and artistcally my favorite game of all time and I've done a lot more playthroughs of it than any other SH game. Heather is my favorite video game protaginist of all time, the hospital level from 3 might be my favorite level and section in any game (the mirror room may be my favorite single moment in any game ever). So many memorable moments, characters, setpieces, themes and music that the game has permenantly drilled into my brain and I think about it almost every fucking day. I do recognize that it is a flawed game (every game in the series has its flaws) and I've heard it was, at least partially, a product with a decent amount of executive meddling behind the scenes, but I still think it does a lot of what it wants to do extremely well imo. Its one of those game that super benefits from multiple playthroughs too, I will say that :) SH4 is a game I wish I liked more than I did. When I mention "Internet Cool Guys" in the vid I'm mostly refering to people who like 4 the most. I've often (somewhat jokingly) said "If SH4 is you're favorite game in the series, I think you're cooler than me". SH4 is such a cool game, it's SO fucking cool... I just don't like actually playing it. I've only ever done one full playthrough of it myself and I'm not sure when that will change :( And I don't wanna count SH1 out cuz an enemy from there isn't in the video. SH1 is also such a cool ass game. Haven't played through it as much as 3 or even 2 but I respect the hell out of it and it's 100% worth playing. Hell, from a video gamey like "game design" perspective it does some things better than any of the sequels (If I had to pick a favorite enemy from SH1 I think I'd go with The Rompers. Very weird guys that make werid noises and come at ya pretty fast)

Lol that Ring Thing Adventure does seem a little interesting but idk if I'll actually get it. Also, I'm glad you enjoyed the intro. I don't exactly have the most experience behind the camera but I do have a lot of fun filming those live-action segments and it's nice to know that some people kind of like them.

I feel like you'd like Dark Souls a lot. I'm sure you've looked into it, but in case you haven't totally try it. Absolutely incredible enemy designs. If you don't wanna play I'd recommend watching some of TBSkyen's "Boss Designs of Dark Souls" series.
