Supposedly the VMAX gen 2 puts out 165 hp at the rear wheel. My gen 1 Vmax has been tested at 138hp to the real wheel. Given that the gen 1(630lb) is 53 pounds less the gen 2 (683lb) should stay right with the gen 2 in the 1/4 mile and 0-60! ( Rock 710lb) Note: weights are wet!

I’ll keep my Milwaukee 8 powered softail with the 117, „just“ 650 pounds out of the box compared to the 800 pound road glide whale. I wish they’d offer the 131 as factory option. That’d push the MoCo way up the list of mega torque grin generating two wheeled therapist.

Great video! Although you didn't include the Harley FXDR. Look up the specs. You'll be surprised. Thanks.

Its the 114, its the exact same specs as any other 114 harley and cant even hit 12.9 in the 1/4 mile. Its not a fast bike. Its jus stylized.

I love Moto Guzzi, but I have a bone to pick with them. In all other applications a transverse mounted motor has a crankshaft that is parallel with the axles, whereas the Guzzi crankshafts are perpendicular to the axles (like with a traditional front engine rear drive car). Guzzi doesn’t really have transversely mounted motors 🤷🏽‍♂️

You should have looked into the Harley FXDR 114. it's similar to the v-rod as far as the story goes just more modern. It also takes the 114 engine and is able to put out some decent numbers.

Decent as in 92 hp to the wheel.....on a 700+lb bike.....suuuuure well call it "decent" and the vrod would be in another State before you're out of 2nd gear.

Love my little Victory Octane. Might add a second to garage. It is around 400lbs lighter than my Indian Challenger. The Octane is fun to ride. Light and easy to handle and maneuver. Get the RPM's over 4k and crack throttle. Feels like a turbo kicks in as it takes off into its power band. Crazy fun. Isnt the fastest bike going, but it will leave a lot of bikers shocked when they cant beat the little bike. I loved my Vrods as well, but this Octane is a lot easier to handle.

Regarding the Moto Guzzi 1400s I believe they are going to stop making them because of Euro 5 emissions laws. I have the MGX-21 and they are great bikes, please make us a video about how these laws are sucking the life out of motorcycle companies. IMO motorcycles should be exempt for a variety of reasons.

Damn man, yeah u really need to get on a gen2 vmax, nothing rides like it, breaking the wheel out in the first 3 gears, also it doesnt need a 6th gear at 80 mph ur at about 4500 rpm in 5th, the rev limiter doesnt kick in till past 10k. Removing the stock speed limiter u can hit 170-175mph, keep in mind thats with no fairing just brute force. I was hitting 10.5s at the 1/4 mile drag all night on my bone stock 2018, and i wasnt hard hard launching either.
