@@Laila-lr6pvhe doesn’t actively scratch the couch or furniture but when he runs around and spazzes around he jumps on it and has pretty much ruined it but the couch is 30 years old

I just rescued 2 female 8 week old British shorthair ragdoll half mix that were rescued from a backyard breeder. Not knowing what to expect from a non reputable breeder I just had to give them a chance at an amazing life and it was the best decision I ever made; I adore my 2 baby girls and they have to be the best decision I ever made. Now they are 5 months now and they are showstoppers; absolutely gorgeous inside and out. If I can make you a suggestion if you are going to adopt is to get 2 to avoid separation anxiety and weight gain for they are always playing when they are not sleeping and burning energy like mad especially in the morningwhen they have the zoomies.

I had a blue/cream British shorthair tortie and a fawn British Shorthair tabby. My blue/cream was mostly blue, and looked like she splattered cream on her face. I love classic the deep bluish gray color, too!

I just had mine exactly a week today. His name’s Rum Baba and I’m vlogging his 1st week 😆

Half of the cats you show in the video are scotch fold , not British shorthair, the other half most of the cats you show are a mixed breed, only a few were real pure British shorthair.

You guys are featuring so many shots of an Exotic Shorthair in the video 😅😅

I had a black rescue cat who was the best! I also fostered 2 black kittens in a litter, 1 shorthair, one long. They were super affectionate, also. I ❤ black cats and rescue cats. I adopted 2 British Shorthairs, whose old lady had to go to a nursing home. That’s why I have a special affection for the breed. They were super sweet and cuddly, but had crabby “cattitude” personalities when they weren’t being cuddled, like Grumpy Cat. They also have a very loud purr. My son called it their “motor.” He’d pet them before he went to bed and say, “Here’s Tiger. I started her for ya.” ❤

You should have done yr research before making the decision of getting a rescue cat.

Beautiful cat you had featured! But still our own breed of strays are so caring and loving. I'm from the Philippines btw. Love your vids always ❤😻

I would love to know more about your domestic cats, in the Phillipines! My favorite breeds are the British Shorthair and the Burmese. We have a huge variety of strays in the US, and I have done rescue and foster work, as well as adopted. We have such a wide variety of mixed breed cats, their personalities are so varied. If you adopt a shelter cat here, you have to make sure to spend time with them and see if you make a love match. ❤

Some cats here are Scottish Folds not British. Like at 5:31

Seeing an awful lot of Scottish Folds. While many Folds are part British Shorthair, they are a separate breed.

I think cats were first domesticated in Egypt...though this cat is lovely

Why are you showing Exotics and Scottish folds in this video? They are not British Shorthairs. Rather confusing. We have owned British Shorthairs for over 2 decades, never had one with folded ears or snub nosed.

Shame you couldn’t be bothered to show proper shorthairs. All cats tend to get kidney problems. They are super pets - ours is a great character loves company - he doesn’t like being g alone. He’s a good friend but very wilful. He comes in and goes out as he pleases - that’s rubbish about keeping them in. And we don’t have coyotes in the UK.

Get your facts right before posting, as you don't know much 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
