I know it’s old, but I’d love to see Peter Pan become a balloon character. Maybe with a (much) smaller Tinkerbell balloon behind him! :3

I think there should be a Beauty and the Beast Christmas float. I seem to be one of the very few people who loved Enchanted Christmas. I’m surprised Disney didn’t make a float in November 1997 when the movie came out.

As a balloon handler for Macys I'd like to add in that every company pays for their own balloons. So Disney owns all their balloons and have the right to ask for them back

If Disney was more involved in the Macy's Parade and contributed more balloons and floats of its own... here's a list of what they would have done. In addition to what we have actually seen from Disney in the parade, we would have seen: Balloons: * 1959: Dumbo, to promote his movie's second reissue. * 1962: Pinocchio, to promote the fourth reissue of his movie. Accompanied by a Jiminy Cricket walk-around. * 1964: Donald Duck's reintroduction to the parade would have been delayed until this year, to celebrate his 30th birthday. * 1967: Either Baloo or King Louie, to promote "The Jungle Book." In either case the other character would have appeared as a walk-around. * 1977: Winnie the Pooh, to promote "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." * 1982: Santa Goofy would have debuted that year, which was when the character turned 50. * 1992: Genie (as Santa), to promote "Aladdin." * 1994: Simba, to promote "The Lion King." * 1995: Buzz Lightyear would have arrived to promote the original "Toy Story." I always watch the Macy's parade

They talked about the long time that Disney’s appearance was absent. Saw the 2nd Donald Duck balloon and it scared me to death. I was NOT expecting that!!! 😂

It's so cool looking at all those original balloon designs :) The only ones I remember watching were from Chicken Little and on wards (excluding Olaf who I will be excited to see :D). As far as choosing who I want as a balloon, I really don't know :/ There's sooo many good choices I can't choose just one

Heres a fact for you guys. Did you know Steamboat Willie wasn't actually the first sound cartoon? The first one was made by Max Fleischer, The creator of Betty Boop and Popeye . But Max's cartoon wasn't too well known so when news sources were talking about Steamboat Willie, They would say Steamboat Willie was the first sound cartoon, to make it seem even more revolutionary.

If I could choose the utmost choice for a Disney character to appear in the Macy's parade as a giant balloon, I've got the perfect one for Thanksgiving 2018. Now that she (finally) got her star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame this past February, it would be so beautiful to see MINNIE MOUSE as a giant balloon. After all, Minnie (and Mickey) are turning 90 years old this year. In fact, why not have BOTH Mickey and Minnie show up in balloon form this Thanksgiving (2018)? Spread the word to Macy's!
